I can see what you're saying. LUO has become more of OCO. But, I guess that's just how this generation of members likes it. Still, it seems that we're running out of things to discuss about the 'Tics... two seasons with not very deep characters isn't the best thing to use. Also, randomness threads are getting old.

So maybe the members here have grown attached to each other, and, if there's nothing else to discuss, there's no reason to stay; other than to spam, that is. But, that's kind of the problem with the OC's. Asking questions for pages upon pages is bound to let everything be answered. Analyzing them to the point of fully-understanding them; and, if anyone else here is like me, they'll move on once there's left to discuss.

Even fanfictions are being biased. I've noticed a lot for the past few months that fics involving OCs generally received more attention than their canon-counterparts. Frankly, that irritates me to no end.

Perhaps we should lock the OCs' area for a week and see the result. Just to check what people are really coming for. We could gather information about the possible increase or decrease of members joining, logging on, and how many hours they stay. Could be interesting. :/

Meanwhile, more LU threads could do some good. ^^

I too have taken notice of this, and I don't like it as well. Several times I've been attempted to say my good byes because of the on slot of OCs. Some may clam that I am also being a hypocrite as I have OCs as well. But I keep my characters in there stories and threads. All OCs I ever make are specifically made for a stories and once that story is complete I never bring them up, or wright with them, again.

This site was made for the Loonatics, for those who have forgotten that includes Lexi, Ace, Tech, Rev, Duck, Slam, Zadavia, the series villeins, and allies. For a long time this site kept my love of LU alive. Kept me interested and kept my hopes alive for another season. But with the OCs I'm starting to dislike the show every single day. For it slightly sickens me that a thread designed for an LU gets taken over by OCs in one way or another.

In my opinion this site is going down hill.

I can see you're right about the fact that there isn't much left to discuss. And I've stopped writing fan fics for LU for the reason that OC related fan fics are more popular than any other type there is or was.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if we locked up those roleplaying topics. However, if we do so I'm not sure if we can unlock them again. But that is something we could try.

I also find OC's annoying, they're okay in some stories when they're not talked about every second, (Which is one of the reasons that I love Siamese's stories so much, she has OC's, but they're not the main main characters....if you know what I mean....)

I did have a massive thing written about this on friday morning, but I accidentally deleted it, whihc really pissed me off furious So I shall re-type it some other time....when I'm not feeling so lazy....

I see that as well. They don't seem to care when people talk about how annoyed they are with OCs and wish things to change a little. (make a thread about shutting them down though it's a hole another story)

To tell the truth, I hopped on the OC train by having the idea in my head, and then noticing that a lot of other people had ones, and I figured it was alright to do it.

But I do agree this site is going down. We've lost a lot of members who have been the spark of a lot of interesting discussions (KJ, Ayelet, oddity, Anna, just to name a few. Apologies to those not mentioned), and some of the ones that do join now tend to be on the site for short periods of time and/or excersise the behavior mentioned above.

So yes, I think this course of action would be a helpful withdrawal for this site (and the resulting responses might be humorous at first...)

To be honest, I've had this kind of topic in my head for a while, but I've been hesitant to post it incase I was the only one who felt this way about them, and I didn't want to be like....hated.

But you guys are here, so at least there are more people on the same side!

Diddo, but I didn't know how to word it with out sounding too mean or singaling anyone out.

Cus in my opinion some poeple have a right to keep there OC becaus they've hade them sens the bigginging. namely Cassidy. Wile other Ocs(wich I will not name) are flat out anoting to me.

Wow, we have similar opinons here, that's....cool/strange! confuse

And yeah, some OC's are cool, but others (Especially when they're even used in people's replies) really bug me.

what really bugs me is when the creator feels like there pushing there character on everyone, or it feels like there trying to replace one of the shows character(s).

There's a person on DA, who in my opinion, feels like there trying to do both push her character onto others and replace, namely, Lexi.

It's most likely jest me because I'm a Acexi shipper to the extreme, and her fan character is suppose to be a love interest for Ace. But ALL her LU art seems to be is her fan character. often Drawn with Ace. And when ever Lexi is drawn, which is close to never, she is ether portrayed as slightly dumb or jealous. I don't think I'd mind the paring one little bit if once and awhile she drew Lexi as jest Lexi. Heck! if she drew all the LUs once and awhile by them self and jest them self.

Okay I'm going to stop now 'cus I'm starting to rant.
