Guess what I just found out?

the good part: Me and Duck have the same birthday-June 23!

the sucky part: June 23 is also National Pink Day in the US.

You can safely assume me and Duck are both severely pissed about this.

Duck: Damn right! Why does my BIRTHDAY have to be Pink Day?!?

Me: I know! why can't it be a different holiday? like Pizza Day? or Fireworks Day? Also, it's MY birthday too, Duck.

Duck: yeah,yeah, whatever. What should the new holiday be?

*turns to whoever is reading this*

Me: well, do YOU have an idea?


Okay, that's the question. "What should we rename the national holiday on June 23?"
Come on, people! Let's hear those ideas!!!

National Pink Day ?!  *Shudders*

I would feel very sorry for people who's birthday falls on that day (I'm not a fan of Pink, at all!!!)   It should be renamed to....to.......

.....umm.....

Give me a minute.....

This was just the author's own concept designed to hook Duck and Lexi up. Nothing more. This story's been around for yonks.

What's wrong with pink? The only problem I have with pink is that, as it's only a shade of red (which it IS), why does it get its own name?

You have light blue, pale yellow, light brown... Why not light red? WHY DOES PINK GET ITS OWN NAME?? There is an inequality amongst colours and I will not STAND for it.

Plus, pink looks terrible on me. ):

That's not a reason to hate a colour. Pink looks nice elsewhere, like in sunsets, on baby's clothes, little girl's tutus, barbie cars, splashes of hot pink on shoes etc. :3
