It's not common knowledge I just plain hate MTV. I have a few friends who tell me they love it, (and they aren't any less my friends because of it) but I still stand by the notion that MTV, no matter how many viewers it boasts, is one of the most trashy, tasteless networks ever. With that said, here's the focal point of this post...
Okay, I'm a bit relieved that it didn't score a secound season, but really; where are the big-ass petitions like "Save our Abe Lincoln" or "Save our JFK?" I think there's a sort of implied double standard here. Why is it that when WB made descendants of their own famous characters, there was huge outcry on the internet (written about on Wikipedia) before the show even aired, and yet when MTV (an extremely well-known channel, perhaps even more so than Kids WB) aired Clone High, there's no mention of that level of extreme hostility before it aired?
I just checked out Clone High on TV.Com;it has virtually nothing but praise. Any countless rants about how it "pisses on the graves of (insert name of well-loved historical figure) "? No, but you'll find plenty of those kinds of reviews for the LOONATICS section.
There's no getting around to it: This has got to be the world's biggest double-standard. And I think it's just plain disgusting.

i LOVE Clone High, i was angry that it had so little episodes, bring it back! it was funny and filled a space in pop culture everywhere especially in comedy section, Clone High just isnt for sensitive people
yeah i read that review too,and get this a few days ago I saw a new reviw at the loonaticcs sec and this women said that the show made the orignal loonatics look like freaks so i got angry at her and click on her name I saw all the other reviews she did and saw that shes not much of a fan for all that, batman, loonatics and something else cartoon, this really set me off so i tried to send her measseage, which for the sake of not getting banned I wont repeat here and i click the send button when i rembered that I cant post anything because theres something wrong with the serever.so another person gets way with making fun of my favorite show.DAMN!!!
their idea of making clone high was interesting, new and had smart fun dialogue, interesting use of new american styled animation not my fav but w/e, and the fact that people of today like that kind of stuff, whilst alot of people and i mean ALOT think Loonatics Unleashed is just a way to cash in after their oldest creations which would be Looney Tunes. I belive that but that doesnt make me hate the show, sure its dialogue isnt excellent and the way scenes change so quick gets a bit annoying; but w/e i still like the show even after all those flaws it has, Clone High's only flaw as an adult cartoon was the animation. and was there sumthin mentioned about sumone comparing Clone High with LU? well first they're completely different programs (one's for kids the other for kids with an attitude.... or people over 12 ...) so they're uncomparable due to the difference in entertainment and audiences. and second one was made to make fun of and/or have fun with historical characters, while the other tries to apply the newer generation to ... newer Looney tunes characters. i myself am not sure why, but i dun care what other people say, i love both shows, and i think that wherever they are in the rankings of the internet, they'll stay in the all-equal #1 spot in my mind... (CHEESY!) and of course both shows make me laugh, well not when Duck's sense of humour is shown, thats just ---- his jokes are funny cause they're bad
I don't watch MTV. Ever. So I didn't even hear about "Clone High" until now. Just goes to show how much this country is heading downhill culturally. More people vote for the next American Idol than their own president. Did "Clone High" have even a semblance of educational merit? Really I want to know from those who watched it. At least Histeria! let you walk away knowing something about the French Revolution.

yo eduactional shows SUCK, the only good educational show that was animated in fact it was awesome i still watch it, was The Magic School Bus. other than that they where usually boring just because they where educational, if i wanna learn sumthin frem the boob tube i watch discovery channel and TLC...
As a child, I can still remember being sucked into the Ted Turner eco-trip that was "Captain Planet and the Planeteers". That show made me think the Earth was going to die tomorrow if you didn't recycle! That acid rain would melt the skin off your bones and that the hole in the ozone layer would allow the sun's death rays to burn you like a laser if you went outside with hairspray. Not to mention it's subtle brainwashing by equating captialist business people as evil monsters whose only desire to is make money by raping mother earth. As much as I care for the environment, I can't abide with this politically-drived propaganda for tots. When I think about it, "Clone High" is nothing compared to that.
Histeria! was great though. The lessons were a bit too simplified, but with only 30 minutes, it's a given that you have to condense. A Spark Notes course in history using SNL style skits, songs and cutaways? Sweet!

I really Liked Histeria too, as a kid. It was more fun to watch and I learned more history from that because It was simple to understand and Gave good key points that I thought I forgotten most of it but really, it was just hidden in my mind.(<_< >_> ) Anyway, I haven't heard of Clone High before nor have I seen it. I guess people can relate more to cartoons they were shown as kids, than from people from the past that they have learned at school.
Just a guess really.

after finding more hate stuff about LU and talking with my friends, so far, everyone i kno (almost) loves it cause its bad, and i do too, all the obvious lines and every episode leaves you saying "... what the- how can, what the f!ck?" in a good yet bad yet good sorta way-- but i still like the chars, otherwise i can agree and disagree , its hard 2 choose--
actually most people have watched at least 1-3 episodes B4 judging it, people that i kno themselves also think haters r stupid if they havent seen any of it, but they do... they do--
SHE thinks its better, unless your teacher is everyone else then i wouldnt worry about dat cause its her opinion-- i easily say what i think of the show (i think i posted it twice on this board of what i think of the show)
1. I think the show is awesome! Despite Derrick's claims that it's an LT ripoff -glares at him-
That arguement has never made much sense; Warner Brothers OWNS Looney Toons. They can do whatever they want with the francaise. It's a bit silly to talk about the show as if someone had to do something illegal to get it made.

-prints out message and will shove it in his face tomorrow morning, on the bus-
Now I just have to get a list of all the LU fans in the world and shove it in Dohyun's face. Ohh, that will be sweet. To shove it in all them haters' faces. I can't believe how many are out there!
The arguement goes something like this:
Derrick: Loonatics is just a Looney Tune ripoff. Jessica: IT IS NOT A LOONEY TUNE RIPOFF!!! IT'S A CARTOON LOOSELY BASED ON THE LOONEY TUNES!!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS?!?
I don't want to sound all hippie or anything, but I don't think we should just judge this show. After all, that would make us just like all those LU haters out there.
