Hmm, they probably just completely forgot to bring up Ace's enhanced visual skills (if any indeed). They focused so much on his laser vision that they forgot about his 'optical enhancement'. Or Maybe optical enhancement really just means 'perfect vision' for Ace, and not anything fancy like long-range or microscopic vision.
I don't know about 'perfect vision', that seems like a rip off to me. Why the heck would they put that down if that were the case? The first explanation seems more likely. They probably just forgot about it while trying to show off his laser vision and martial arts. Is it just me or is Ace using his laser vision a lot less in this season?

Is he using his sword more perhaps? Or maybe the writers wanted to show off Ace's other physical and leadership skills instead of overusing his laser vision to simply blast every villain he meets out of the way.
I`m thinking Optical Enhancement means he has superior vision or something, like being able to see more details farther. Basically, enhanced eyesight. Plus, it might help him aim with projectiles (including the Optic Lasers).
I wish WB would stop holding out and just release a statement or exhibit just what the heck it is. Why say he has something and then never show it? It's mind numbing

I agree that maybe it is to improve Ace's laser vision. Maybe like the targeting recticule on fighter jets where you have a green screen with a circle and a dot in the middle of the circle to control the conventional guns
