Yesterday, I wrote analysises about the Loonatics characters.
Ace analysis
The word “ace,” can refer to many things that are dominated. For example, in racket games in either Tennis or Badminton; an “ace” could be a certain serve (probably called in as something positive,) that can score you a point. The term “ace” is also used in Frisbee; another word for a whole in one is called an ace, which tells us that the best shot is named after our favorite bunny. But that’s not all; because an ace could also be a name of a card; but not just any playing card, an ace is the name of the most powerful playing card (if you don’t count the joker.) This might explain why Ace was appointed as leader. It is because that the word “ace” apparently means powerful, dominated, authority, expert, master and top- notch. So that can help us understand Ace’s personality and his role as a leader better. Ace is mostly used; when a person receives something that is at the top, like an A in school, or something that is powerful. Why not? Ace would have to be the most powerful in his words and feelings for the team and not to mention that authority does come to mind, because of Ace being appointed as the leader of the team. He is a master of martial arts and it’s most likely that he would be a quick problem solver with his expertise behind him. This might also hint that if an ace is worth a lot, it could mean helpful; so Ace must have been helpful to the team to get out of many difficult situations. But, it’s most likely that he as leader, has also made a huge difference on not only himself; but in the others as well, by increasing they’re self- esteem and making them feel more confident and independent.
Ace’s color is yellow. To define yellow, we start off by saying that yellow is quite similar to gold. Gold is a color that symbolizes intelligence, time management and organization and like gold. Yellow symbolizes happiness, joy, warmth, encouragement, loyalty and cheerfulness. Like gold, yellow would also have to represent organizing as in uniting. Uniting in Ace’s case would mean bringing the whole team together and relating to the happiness and brightness of yellow; it would mean that everybody should be together. So, that could be a reason why Ace cares so much about the team. Next would be happiness; is Ace really considered the happy type? Not really, because unlike his ancestor, Bugs Bunny; Ace is more of the straight forward, serious and quick paced type of character. But, his ancestor on the other hand, happened to have more time to deal with problems and was always very optimistic. So, that again brings up the time management difference between them; so I would say that Ace has better time management skills than his ancestor ever had, because he is mostly the type who will think quick during danger and more of an advantage of putting his plans together. So, Ace wouldn’t really be considered happy, cheerful and joyful most of the time, but he wouldn’t be considered as the most miserable character, either. I believe that Ace has had his happy and joyful moments, mostly when he was feeling very excited about buying his ice cream in Secrets of The Guardian Strike Sword. But, a smile usually crosses his face when either a villain is defeated or when he is making comments at Duck. But, this bunny does not seem to be the cheerful or joyful type of character, probably because he feels so focused and because of his practice of “landing on his feet,” before the meteor struck; it has most likely contributed more to Ace’s slightly edgy personality, to give him a disciplined over look. Encouragement, I would say that Ace is very encouraging for sure; he has the enthusiasm towards his job and is always willing to encourage his team mates to fight and stand by his side all the time. He is not afraid to go out into the field and direct orders in a sharp and interested- like tone to his friends, whenever he needs assistance, to get the job done. This brings up my next point about loyalty and I would say that Ace is definitely loyal and has become very trusting at this point, towards Deuce and it seems that he will respect and trust anyone, until he finds out the truth about that particular person. He is very loyal to his friends and would not betray them, under any circumstance or break up with them. Ace is also very loyal to his job and wouldn’t mind waking up in the middle of the night; to defend Acmetropolis (this happened in the Heir up There.)
There was also a detective in a movie called Ace Ventura; who was also known as a hero, which might explain why our favorite rabbit was chosen as leader and was known as the most heroic.
Lexi analysis
To start things off; before the meteor hit unlike her ancestor Lola, Lexi tried out for cheerleading, while Lola was a basketball player in the 1999 movie Space Jam. There is on similarity between the two; they were both in the athletics department and were always in shape that made both Ace and Bugs understand them better. Since Ace is not only in the same species as Lexi, but also a martial artist; which might make their friendship strong enough to become a romantic relationship? Well, it does seem that Ace and Lexi do have a lot in common, which make them understand each other better and could even make them both feel comfortable about having a romantic relationship with each other, because of all the things that they have done as a pair or partners. I found information about astrological signs and I believe that Lexi might be a Cancer. This is because that a Cancer is very protective, personal and clingy and aside the saying about her being stereotypical and even sarcastic at times, Lexi does feel concerned and personal about her appearance and I just had a theory; it could be that she feels very personal about Ace and maybe her judgment on how she looks, might have something to do on why she might act a little bit differently around him at times. Though, her appearance is not the only thing that Lexi feels personally about, it seems that her emotions for Ace might slip very rarely, because they might only be getting stronger and changing her into someone who would want a soul mate. But, unlike her ancestor; Lexi tries not to act sweet on Ace because of today’s generation between emotions for males and females. Also, it could also be that Lexi is still very young and a hint that she is a late bloomer into growing up as well, because of her feeling embarrassed about being in a romantic relationship.
The word “lexi” has short abbreviations to several other words. For example, Lexi’s nickname is Lex, so her nickname is a short abbreviation for other words such as Lexus, lexical and lexicon. There are is also a name of a place called Lexington, which is a health hospital and a club called Lexington Books Division that is also related to health. So, I believe that since the meaning of these words give off a sad and negative definition; that might also explain about Lexi’s stereotypical and the slight edge in her personality. But, these words also mean that they are places that could help people physically with health problems; so does that mean that the writers made Lexi as a very honorable hero because of these words? Or is it because the writers just intend to make Lexi believable to the viewers? It is pretty hard to say, but we all know that Lexi is the only girl, out of five guys; so maybe the writers wanted to give a strong image of her because of that. But, what we don’t know is that she was given the name Lexi because it gives me the impression that it means “helpful,” because she is always helpful to the team and always kicking- butt, so that must explain why she was appointed as second in command.
Lexi’s color is pink and pink represents love, romance, tenderness and sometimes aggression (if it is darker pink.) I would have to say that pink does suit Lexi perfectly because of her caring personality towards her friends. Also, we never really found out about her having romantic feelings for Ace, but since pink does represent love and romance, it could explain of how devastated she felt about Ace’s near death in Acmegeddon. But, it could also just be that Lexi is so caring about anyone, like Ace; she would not like to see her friends in any trouble. Back to my point about them having a lot in common; Lexi does feel more secure when Ace is nearby and is able to work at her full potential in his presence. For example in Going Under, Ace and Lexi did the Maneuver 29 and it worked successfully, as well as in The Heir up There; they both combined their powers to foil Sylthvester’s plan and it also worked successfully. So, I think that they both understand each other; whether it is on the field or at HQ. It seems that no matter what happens to them working together; things will most likely go well for them, because of that. Also, Lexi could be very aggressive; whether it’s her insecurities around Ace, or when it is battling evil henchmen or villains. Pink could represent jealousy if and stubbornness; for example, if her mate seems to be interested in someone else, it is possible that they could jump to conclusions, or get the wrong impression if let’s say, those two were just friends, like in The Cloak of Black Velvet, Lexi felt jealous when she saw Ace admiring Black Velvet on the screen.
Duck analysis
Duck is very similar to his ancestor in many ways. For one thing, he is very selfish and inconsiderate; whether it comes to wanting to be looked up to, riches or other things; that is one thing that him and Daffy both share. But, it seems that Duck’s personality is not the only thing that matches his ancestor; it seems that his voice reminds me of Daffy’s quite well. With Jason Marsden doing a deeper and clearer voice of this mallard; unlike his ancestor, Duck does not seem to lisp as much.
Moving on, Duck’s color is orange; orange does mean a lot of things. It represents success, attraction, resourcefulness, fascination and it is a very warm color. Yes, orange does mean success; but apparently in Duck’s case, it seems to be the opposite. It seems that the writers wanted to go in a more interesting direction for Duck’s character, because in most shows; there is always someone that the others poke fun with and since that character is Duck, he does not seem to succeed most of the time and is seen more as a comic relief. I am guessing that Duck does try too hard to be noticed and that would realistically; give a bad impression for others. So, if Duck is the one, who is getting the least positive attention; it might be because of his cry for it. But, why does Duck cry for attention? Well, one reason would be that he seems to be jealous of Ace; who is the leader and wants to have that role. But, a thought just occur to me, Duck is probably not given the role as leader, because everyone else knows that he wants it only for the attention. Because unlike Ace, obviously Duck wants to be loved; so he will do anything. My second reason would be is because that deep down, Duck might not have enough confidence in himself. Therefore, he will bring others down, so he will get compliments, in order to increase his self esteem. Attraction, it seems that Duck feels more comfortable attracting himself to others, in order to live his life and to him; it might be a reminder of why he feels that he is important to the team. Resourcefulness, is Duck resourceful? Well, I would have to say so, because of his love for adventure. His love for adventure might not be as strong as Rev’s, but it looks like Duck will most likely go out of his way to take a risk; whether it is to impress someone, or to help the team. For example, in Weathering Heights (even though Duck was the target); Duck did take the courage to go out into the water, to save Misty Breeze from any harm or danger, so this might bring up some of the passion that he might have for being an Acme hero. In Comet Cometh, hail was failing at very quick speed, but Duck was still willing to take the courage and to go save the mayor. Fascination? Yes, Duck is very fascinated and curious at times, to see what is going on or what he needs to be aware of. In Acmegeddon, Duck did take the initiative to be a detective for a short amount of time, to find out how the villains escaped. Orange is also a very warm color, which will explain why Duck does have a short temper, a sarcastic attitude and an edgy personality; it is because that his color is a very bright orange and a bright orange, could symbolize aggression.
Slam analysis
The word “slam,” often refers to doing a physical action, using force. For example: slamming the door, slamming books on the table. Slam is a term that means something said or done harshly, or with force to make a loud noise.
The strange thing is that unlike his ancestor, Taz; Slam is a very harmless character and for the same as Duck; the writers decided to go in a different direction for Slam’s character. He seems to be a kind and gentle soul, but the question is why? If the word “slam,” is something that is harsh, the opposite of that would be something more pleasant. So, it was decided that Slam’s character was going to go against the realistic fact of the actual word. I mean, aside from the saying that that is why Slam turned out to be a more caring and confused team mate; we don’t seem to know a deeper reason why. But, Slam also happens to be a mixed bag, because on the field; he will fight and get violent, in order to save himself or his friends. Or, Slam will come out as a violent monster; just to get some pizza (happened in Loonatics on Ice.)
What does the color purple symbolize and why is it Slam’s color? Well, purple symbolizes mysterious, creative and ambitious. So, is Slam mysterious? Well, I believe so, because at times, he will pop out of nowhere, in order to save a team mate or to get some food. For example, Duck was in trouble in Acmegeddon, with those robots and it was left to our imagination of what was about to happen next. Now, I’m going to ask you a poll question and be honest. Did you think that Duck was going to be destroyed by those robots, the first time you saw the episode? For those who answer, you will be quite surprised on how the results will turn out. What about in Loonatics On Ice, don’t you think that if it wasn’t for Tech’s new invention or Lexi’s sonic hearing; they all would have jumped to see Slam come in out of nowhere? Creativity, like I said; the mysterious appearances sort of fall into it; if Slam does come out mysteriously, at the same time; he was being creative. What about his ambition? I would have to say so, because I mean; Slam is probably the most or second most fearless out of the group; so it makes me believe that Slam is willing to do anything. Before the meteor hit, Slam used to be a pro wrestler and that is a very dangerous job. But, that job did suit him well, no just because of his strength; but, also his passion and ambition to fight. So, I’m guessing that there is a deeper reason on why Slam has grown to become a harmless character. Slam’s color though, is a dark purple; which represents gloom and depression and there are times where Slam does feel down. But, it is mostly because of his friends because, dark purple (violet) is similar to the color blue and blue usually means peace and creativity. So, that might explain on why Slam has a bit of creativity in him and it also appears that Slam might hate conflict as well and like Ace; he feels terrible to see any of his friends feel upset. But, violet could also mean frustration and anger; so back to the point where Slam is very aggressive on the field; seeing himself or his friends in trouble, will make him feel frustrated and will bring out the aggression in him.
Tech analysis
The word “tech,” is short for technology, so that is pretty straight forward. What comes to my mind; technology means complexity, variety and creativity. So, we think that Tech is not only smart, but he is very creative as well. Technology is mostly referred to variety; so after watching the most popular coyote, we believe that he has a variety of personalities, because of his off days at times, when an invention doesn’t work.
Tech’s color is green; which symbolizes knowledge, wisdom, intelligence and sometimes abrasiveness. Knowledge? Well of course, it’s obvious that Tech is very knowledgeable and smart; he is a genius and his abilities to built is a big hint to Tech’s entire life. Does Tech have a lot of wisdom? Well, I’m sure that Tech might not be that type that would have a lot of wisdom from any of his past experiences, but he somehow at times, is able to get an idea of what happens next in a situation and I’m guessing that follows into his knowledge. We never really saw any signs of Tech being abrasive in season 1, but in season 2; he does get a bit smug about others questioning his intelligence, so it could be that in the knowledgeable areas, Tech won’t appear as calm as he usually is, whether it is someone questioning his intelligence, or when his inventions blow up. Green is also known as a healing power, so whenever we see Tech getting blown up, he is able to heal himself because green could also represent safety and it gives off a small hint that our coyote friend does care about safety in himself and in his inventions.
If you would like to know about Tech’s astrological sign, it happens to be a Virgo. Tech happens to analyze many things and he is quite descriptive and could sometimes be a bit critical towards others about his intelligence. “We, what’s with the we? Yes, I can reverse it?” It is also possible that Mastermind could be a Virgo as well, because of her intelligence and deep thinking as well. Also, the word “mastermind” could mean leader, or it could fall into the same description as technology. There is a place called Mastermind and I assume that it has something to do with the science and technology; so that might explain on why she was with Tech, instead of Ace. In two different ways, Tech and Mastermind both share the same kind of knowledge not just the way they speak it, but also in the definitions of their names.
The question is, why does Tech sometimes get over confident about his intelligence? Maybe before the meteor hit, his professor did not appreciate his work in University and it probably the feeling might come back and contribute to that, because Tech was so excited for someone to see his work, but after that; he felt that he wasn’t good enough. So, that might explain why Tech might be over protective about his inventions. “But it does work, if only someone could see that!”
Before the meteor hit, Tech was at Acme Tech University; working on inventions. So, that might be why he was so smug to Rev about his intelligence being questioned. It sort of reminded him of the memory of what his professor said.
Rev analysis
Rev is a descendant of his ancestor, the Road Runner and there are many differences between the two. One thing, would be that unlike the familiar sound of the “meep meep,” Rev can actually talk… a lot. Another thing that does differ is the Road Runner can run very quickly and possibly leave out smoke, while Rev has super speed, to leave off fire. I’m guessing that that fire does represent something, but what?
Well, fire could represent anger and aggression. Although, we see Rev as a happy go lucky guy, or we think that we see him that way. Well, before the meteor struck, Rev used to be a sandwich delivery boy and as others said that he did have a difficult time, making it into the real world, because it was harsher than what he expected. Though, he did try his best, not to end up as a sensitive character; but, he did grow up to be submissive and somehow quiet, in the background. So, maybe it is a sign that Rev felt excluded on some level, because of his time just standing in the background, with not much say. Another thing that would have caused some of Rev’s down feelings would be to work with Cookie; his boss. Like Tech, Rev felt that he wasn’t good enough or fast enough to please his boss, or any of the customers. So, maybe joining the Loonatics at first has maybe made him feel slightly intimidated about that. So, in the second season; Rev probably felt like teasing Tech about his intelligence because of Tech having the most knowledge and probably the second or third most attention in the group. Maybe, Rev does not show it like Duck does, but deep down; he wants some attention. So, that could explain about why Rev is always expressing and speaking his mind. On the other hand, in some way; Rev’s teasing could be a sign that he understood Tech in some way and got the same treatment, but that is a funny way of showing it. Rev’s color is red; red could represent many things such as love, passion, warmth and energy.
What do we have to say about love? Well, Rev loves his job and loves opening up to people, nonetheless. Also, when it comes to love, Rev at times might not know where he stands because we have not shown any signs of romantic feelings coming from Rev; which might tell us that like Lexi, he is taking a longer time in growing; except in a different way.
As for passion, Rev just loves and feels good about anything. He is passionate about his job and being teamed up with his friends; he never complains and he rarely feels down, so I’m guessing that Rev is the type of person that goes with the flow and that is what makes him so flexible.
Rev is a very warm character. He is very innocent and he will warm up to anyone and just be honest about himself or the others around him; he is also able to attract so much positive attention from his fans and the residents in Acmetropolis. His voice is very warming and innocent; he is pretty social for the most part.
I would have to say that Rev’s sign would be Gemini because of his multi-tasking and his curiosity. Someone who is very hyper usually does not think before they do and even though that might happen to Rev at times, he still thinks before he does, most likely. That is why he is also considered intelligent and knowledgeable as well. I’m guessing that his GPS, leads him in the right direction and even reminds him during missions.
When it comes to energy, Rev has a whole bunch of it. Bringing up the point where he is very social and hyper towards others; it could most likely surprise or frighten them, maybe because they feel that Rev is actually nervous a lot of the time. Even though it was the meteor that caused this; do you think that Rev speaking fast, has something to do with him feeling nervous? I don’t know. I mean, think about it; what he experienced was pretty far from what he expected and maybe if he did question Ace or Zadavia; Rev might get the same experience that happened at his job. Or, Rev is really happy because he is not the type to rebel or complain. I’m not too sure, but one thing that I am sure of is that he has changed and grown, ever since he has been united with the Loonatics.

I must say, fairly impressive. Looks like someone beat me to something again. *rolls eyes upward* If I don`t take a little more initiative, soon I`m going to get overshadowed here as the analytic expert! But still, some very worthy points there, Rev. Although, I think you might`ve wanted to add something about Lexi`s fear of rejection, unless I missed it while reading your analysis.
I think that`s part of the reason she became so close to the team, Ace in particular, as they accepted her and warmly welcomed her onto the team, and that would strike an interesting connection to Lola, who is sometimes seen as the newcomer, the sore thumb, the outcast of the LT crew. Plus, you can see how hard she took it when she couldn`t even get into the cheer squad. Obviously, she`d been turned away at many things. Who knows, she might even be more devoted to heroics - and teamwork - than rest of the team put together, even Ace...

It's obvious that you put a lot of thought into these analysis(s). (My tongue is getting twisted trying to make that plural. x3) I think you've made some very interesting and truthful observations on the characters. Concerning Rev, I'd never really thought about something you mentioned... that he might be afraid to oppose Ace or Zadovia because of his experience with Cookie. That's actually a very interesting thought. I will now go think about that... xD
I lv your thoughts on the lexi ace thing in the character analysis because it makes perfect sense. It's really helpful to read things like this before writing fanfictions so im going to credit u in my next chapter rev
That's a very good analysis Rev. But I do have things that add on to some characters.
Starting off with the colour purple for Slam. It is a majestic colour. The majesticness from the wrestling ring maybe when you feel more superior to everyone else once you eneter it. We saw that much of superiorty in "I am Slamacus" when he fought all those wrestlers.
You have had very good reasons for Duck's attention seeking but we have to consider that he was an orphan and lived at the orphanage from a very young age. Maybe he just wants to prove to everyone else that he is capable of many things even though he came from a bad background. Maybe like the story in Cinderella when she goes from rags to riches after she puts her foot in the glass slipper. Maybe he wanted to make a name for himself by working up the ladder to success. Which also points out another meaning of his colour representing success.
Perhaps I could have added those points in. Thanks for bringing that up, but I wrote this analysis before "I Am Slamacus" and "In the Pinkster" were aired.

I've just found an interesting meaning for Ace's name. It could mean "one" or "one unit" in Latin. Ace being the leader, he could pull the team together and fight as one.
And also, Lexi's name means "defending men" in Greek. Everyone knows that she's the only female Loonatic out of the six. Maybe that could have some symbolism on something we don't know.
