Well they do make a good partnership for comedy purposes but not anything for romance or having a "relationship" with each other. Laurel and Hardy comedy duo, just that.
O_o You're not the only one being haunted. I've been haunted by everything- Including Optimatus/Massive. -shiver- That was the scariest thought EVAR in my life.

XD Man, the weirdest pairings like to go after me. Someone suggested Duck x Slam before me though - it was in a fanfic, where Rev had a dream that Duck and Slam were making out on the beach. X_x MENTAL IMAGES. -flop-
In a word--No. Duck needs someone who's understanding and willing/able to put-up with his enormous ego; not someone who would most likely end up having him for dinner.

...I don't think I've actually stayed in another place for more than one month.
I was born in Ontario but I grew up mostly in California. I never really stay in one place for very long though. The house I'm in now is the 30th one I've lived in since birth. o__o; Moving to the 31st this summer, I hope. I can't have a dog until we move 'cause my landlords are "allergic." --;
Indeed. ;D They own two long-haired Siamese-looking cats that are s'posedly outdoor but I've seen them let those kitties inside. And besides, there was cat hair all over the basement when we moved in. They claim that the last tenants were hiding a dog. Hmph.
I was watching 'I am Slamacus' on dailymotion when I had some spare time, and the scene where Duck trains Slam for the tournament can be actually seen in a slashy manner. When Slam trains, Duck keeps yelling things like 'C'mon Slam! Give me moooore! Go for the burn!'
Also, in the Pinkster ep, when Ace was (supposedly) losing his powers - Duck was the only one who yelled 'Ace!' while everyone else was pretty much stone cold.
Duck also seems to have a fetish for feminine clothing, as revealed in Apocalypso.
So this sums up into one question: Why do they keep portaying Duck gay?!
Or perhaps it's just our imagination.

I think there are two possibilities, which apply not only to Duck, but also to Tech, Rev, and every pairing that's been hinted at in the show:
1. The writers and artists don't realize how some of their content can be interpreted.
2. They're putting that stuff in to drive the more... attentive fans crazy.
I tend to favor to latter, because these 'hints' about orientations and attractions occur so often, I find it difficult to believe that they're not intentional.
Whether or not the writers intend for any of it to be canonical, at least within the confines of the studio, I don't know. Either way, I think it's all along the same vein as the subtle jokes, references, and mature humor that are sometimes added to keep older audiences entertained, but is over the heads of most children. The original Looney Tunes did that extensively, as has much theatrical animation.

Gah! Stop putting more disturbing thoughts into my head you guys! I personally don't go looking for gay references in the eps when i watch them. What goes on between the Loonatics is just innocent fun right? Right?!
Your probably right, though, for the most part. Duck is about as likely to turn out gay as Slam is to give up pizza. I just don't get the vibe from him. Anything on that front is just for hilarity, IMO, and it's all stuff that would be interpreted innocently by young children.
Tech, on the other hand, I really, truly think is not straight. Disregarding extremely shippy moments like the "Weathering Heights" wink, his overall body language and dialog suggest that he more than likely is batting for both teams, whether the writers and artists intended to give him that trait or not. It's hard to explain precisely - just lots of little things that straight people wouldn't necessarily pick up on. I suppose there's a certain degree of wishful thinking involved in my interpretation, but the fact that I'm aware of that suggests that the effect is minimal.

Tech not straight?! Oh sugar! There go my chances with him.
But I think the way Tech acts is part of reflecting his personality. He's can be very 'animated' when he's going on about his work, coz he gets that excited about it. And i suppose Rev gets on his nerves so much that he struggles to keep his composure sometimes with him.
Don't worry, my dear. Note the "batting for both teams" part. There is middle ground, y'know. ;)
Maybe, but I'm taking all that into account and I come to the same conclusion. Even for a cartoon character, he doesn't move or behave like he's completely straight.
I think non-heteros are just more sensitive to subtleties than straight people. We depend on it to determine who we can pursue (barring being somewhere like a gay bar/club), whereas you can use gender to make the same determination. As I said before, though, I'm not rejecting the possiblity that I'm reading into things too much. I'd be pretty arrogant, otherwise.

Sorry to shatter your image of Tech. ^^;; He's still the same geeky studmuffin he's always been. The idea of him falling for Rev is just more plausible.

Hmm, now where did I put that Brick Launcher 10k Tech made for me... XP

But you know. Most of the fan fictions that portrays gay relationships have Rev having a crush on Tech. But I suppose there are other oppitunities waiting to happen.
