I'm not taking sides or anything but maybe you should take that as a compliment that they did something similar to your work. They might have thought that your drawing was really good so they wanted to copy it. Just a thought.

Well, since the person didn't seem to trace or copy it outright, it isn't so bad. But I'd still be a little peeved. A little credit would be nice...

Agreed. The clothing on Tech and Rev definitely look like they were taken from kaejae's work. Even Rev's belt is folding in the same way i think! But this person didn't outright copy it with their sketch of Tech and Rev. Still, a little credit to kaejae would've been due.

Gah, I figured as much.

I'm not mad about it (at least I don't think so X3), but just slightly disappointed about not getting credited... I did leave a comment, but they haven't been on DA for weeks, so I don't think I'm going to get a response anytime soon.

Sigh. I guess I just have mixed feelings on this one =P

Undestandable. I would be feeling the same way if it was something i thought was based off my work. I'd like credit where it's due too. But not much you can do but wait for a response now. Don't let yourself become so bothered tho'.

at least it wasnt a trace, I dont see much of a copy except the clothing inspiration and maybe the pose, but that hugging pose is.. well very generic o_O
