The page won`t load up for me, but the info you guys dropped gave me a pretty good idea what the page said. However, I`m not gonna put full trust in that report just yet. Until I see those titles show up on the schedule, I`m not going to assume anything. I`m also a little resentful of the fact that, if Teletoon is indeed correct, it spoiled part of the episode for us.
Today I was looking on kidswb.com, and I saw that now they have 2 episodes of Batman and Xiaolin Showdown is back. I was sooo scared, I thought they had cancelled LU untill I went to the videos section and saw that they are playing Family Buisness. Was Kids WB created simply to torture me? 'Cause that's what it seems like most of the time.
Wait, Tweetums is comming back? Aaaah! That annoying little pipsqueak! And appearently, they'll have to search for him again because he went into another whole lot of trouble.
Don't tell me that this'll be the last season of LU!

Guys, cool down with the Ace/Lexi shipping! You don't see me boasting around saying the Duck and Lexi will 100% hook up together (I still hope that though...)

They have to look for Tweetums!? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! I HATE THAT STUPID BIRD! I WANT SYLPH VESTER TO EAT HIM NOW! KILLTHEFOR ALL I CARE!!! MAKE SURE HE DIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the subject of the cancelation, I'll see if I can E-mail him again. He replied to my last E-mail so he might reply again.
Let us know if you hear anything Akira. Even if Loonatics does get cancelled, they might just move it to cartoon network. Maybe the writers need until midseason to come up with new material.
They may delay it, but I don't think they'll cancel it. Some reasons why:
- They gave copyright liscences for video games to be made. - They just gave out Season 1 DVDs. - Polls show that kids like it. - Imagine the humiliation they would go through by cancelling it: this show was about the descendants of the Looney Tunes (the best of the best in cartoon history) and they can't even survive 2 seasons? - Merchandise is coming up soon. -They advertised it quite a bit. They wouldn't let those costs now go down the drain, would they?
Besides, maybe they're waiting for how the critics will react to the last two episodes. If the reaction is positive, it may give them the green light to continue.

Maybe you are right. Maybe I am getting myself worked up over nothing. If they have a third season, what do you think they will have. I am hoping the Tech will have Duck's spotlight. Maybe we can find out more about his relationship with Mallory, and how the Loonatics came together.
What kind of LU merchandise have you heard of coming up Lumosnight? Apart from the S1 DVD.
At this stage, i don't think anyone can say with any degree of certainty what LU's future on Kids WB is. I didn't find it encouraging that it was not even mentioned in Kids WB's latest press release. But as some people have been saying, perhaps it'll return as a midseason replacement or something. But of course those are all just guesses. I don't know what could possibly happen if LU ended up on Cartoon Network. But i'd have thought that would mean just repeat showings if it began airing on that channel.
Bottom line for me i think is, if we don't hear anything about new LU eps being made within the next two months, then we should probably not expect to be seeing a new third season.
Well if it's put on Cartoon Network, maybe the guys there will put on a movie of how they met and a third season. They did the same with Pokemon and Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries. We can only dream.
Wow, if they did a movie AND a third season, i'd say that was being very generous of them! But if something like that was to happen, i'm sure we should be hearing something about it. And so far, well, we haven't heard much about LU really.
Just to let you all know, i sent an email to a CW representative, Paul McGuire, and got a (very) short response back from him: "TBA".
The original email message i wrote was this:
"From: TANGANDREA@aol.com <TANGANDREA@aol.com> To: McGuire, Paul <Paul.McGuire@cwtv.com> Sent: Tue Apr 03 19:08:17 2007 Subject: The fate of Loonatics Unleashed?
Dear Sir
I would like to ask whether you know anything about what is to become of the cartoon show "Loonatics Unleashed" in the 2007-2008 season? So far, nothing has been mentioned about it in any Kids WB press releases online. I would be most grateful for any information you could give me about whether this cartoon show will be retunring in the fall of 2007 or in 2008, or whether it will be cancelled after the currently airing second season is finished? Is there a new third season for this show planned at all? If you can respond with a simple answer to my query, i and many other supporters of the show would be most grateful!"
So make what you all will of the "TBA" response! Presumably then we should at least be hearing an annoucement at some point about LU! But whether it'll be good or bad news is anyone's guess! I'm hoping we hear something soon! *Crosses fingers.*
I got another more informative response from another WB Animation contact, Gary Miereanu, i e-mailed in regards to Loonatics. He said this:
"As per your question regarding Loonatics returing to the lineup next season: Kids' WB! won't finalize the lineup for 2007-2008 until early summer, so we don't yet know if Loonatics will air on Kids' WB! in the fall. I can tell you that Loonatics has completed production, and no new episodes are being produced at this time.
If you have any other questions regarding Kids' WB! and/or any of the Warner Bros. Animation productions, please fell free to contact me."
So it looks like Kids WB don't currently have any further plans for new eps for LU unfortunately. But we'll have to wait and see whether old eps return to air during 2007-2008 sometime. Maybe someone should start a petition to show fan support for more new seasons?
That doesn't sound good. My inner optimist is clinging to "at this time". It would make sense that no new episodes would be in production if WB hasn't decided if LU will air in the fall, until there's an official announcement, they really can't reveal anything. On the other hand, there have already been announcements about other shows, so maybe it's just wishful thinking. *sigh*
In addition to a petition that may or may not get off the ground, all of us have e-mail and should use it. I don't know much about the original Adams petition that prompted the change in character design, but there are certainly enough of us that WB wouldn't be able to dismiss our desire for new episodes out of hand. Actual snail-mail letters and even phone calls would go a long way towards showing our commitment, as well. It's time to make WB aware of just how much LU is loved! </rousing speech>

I agree. Maybe we can send this representative our ideas for a third season. There's a site called petition online that allows people to make online petitions.
Caput:This is why U still are like this, talking 2 strangers ***** Me:Hey, Ure music got me, but hell meet the LU family ***** with special guest TWEETUMS
I mentioned to Gary Miereanu about this site and the concern of us LU fans for our show's future. But as Skifox says, if anyone can find a WB address to write to, then that may help show some fan support. I'll have a look at starting an online petition possibly as well. Gary left a contact number in his first email to me:
"If you have any other questions regarding Kids' WB! and/or any of the Warner Bros. Animation productions, please fell free to contact me.
Gary Miereanu Warner Bros. Animation/Kids' WB! 818-977-7469"
If anyone wants to try calling that number over there in the US you can try, but please, be polite and don't be pushy or anything. Mr. Miereanu has been very generous in being so informative already to me i think.
I sent a second email to him after his first response just to thank him for responding and he replied again with this if anyone is curious:
"No problem. Whatever you need. I'd rather you get the correct information at the beginning than have rumors of incorrect information swirling across the internet ..."
So it seems he wanted to make his message clear.
The email addresses i emailed were:
paul.mcguire@thewb.com
and in Gary Miereanu's case, i had originally sent an email to this email address: robert.pietranton@warnerbros.com
*reads previous posts with disbelief* Oh well. I suppose we all knew this day would come Yes, I'm a pesimist. How'd you guess? And yes, someone please put up petition links and mailing addresses if you find some. Your mailing requests sound so proffesional, Black Oracle. I admire you *admires letters*. They have a "contact us" link on the Kids' WB! website hidden somewhere on the bottom of the screen. I'm going to try that *logs out of LUO to go to Kids' WB! website* Why must they always put the "!" after "Kids' WB"?
Gah! I've been trying to set up a petition at petition online but i'm not receiving any confirmation email! Don't know why. I'm pretty sure the email i entered into the petition form was correct!
From the above KTLA site, there's an address for WB Animation to which you can send your comments, question and requests about LU:
Loonatics Unleashed (Kids' WB! on the CW) Warner Bros. Animation 15301 Ventura Boulevard, Unit E Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 818-977-8700 AIRS SATURDAYS DURING KIDS' WB!
To write to the head of Kids' WB! Programming, address letters to: Betsy McGowen, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Kids' WB! on The CW
Just thought you'd all like to know! If some of us could actually write some letters to the folks at WB Animation, i'm sure it'd help to raise their awareness about LU's popularity!
