Something tells me that Pinkster isn't quite as redeemable as Duck hopes him to be. Considering that Pinkster was planning on becoming a bad guy ever since he was 7.

You know how to stop Duck from being such a jerk? Honestly? And I am being dead serious when I say this - Give him a girlfriend!

Seriously! My brother was WORSE than Duck... so... jerky and... grrr! DX

But as soon as he started dating Carolyn, he... he toned down HEAPS!

Give Duck a girl, and he will calm down... simple as that... ^_^ Give Duck to me, and his ego will inflate...

And perhaps he acts like he does because he wants someone to notice him... I could delve further into this, but I am far too tired to...

Ok, guys. There is something important that we didn't discuss in this thread.....

If Duck's an orphan, then who are his parents? What happened to them?

They're most probably dead, becuase it would be too heavy for a kid's animated show that parents abandon their children in an orphanage that looks like Arkham Asylum (I swear, with those glass walls and depressive state it looks like a place cut out from a Batman comic where the most dangerous lunatics live).  

But if he was abandoned, there would be really good story behind it. My theory could be this: Duck's mum (who is actually the only direct descendent of Daffy Duck) fell in love with a member of Ace Bunny's family (who is a direct descendent of Bugs Bunny). She had a romance with him, but she was shunned by her own family because she was having an affair with a bunny. Her bunny boyfriend then dumped her, not knowing that she laid an egg as a result of this affair. She hatched her son (Danger Duck) and then dumped him in the orphanage because she was unable to deal with the shame that she betrayed her family for a bunny.

What do you think?

For me is more something like this: Danger Duck is 1 year old and there's a war, someone want the power of the queen of Mars... Duck Dodger is fighting... but he die saving many lifes, and in those lifes he saved are his wife and son life, the queen and the prince of Mars.

Ty'ranhee have to run to save her baby and she cry for the death of her husband, she hate to run and want vengeace... She decided to fight (like old days) and give her baby to a strange man, the only man she give all her confiance... She gave to the baby a necklace, to remember her.

This strange man, after the queen was made prisioner decided to run away with the young prince to another planet: Acmetropolis.

But someone is going after him and he has to fight to save the baby. Badly hurt he decided to abandon the baby in a orphanage, he know the prince will be safe there until come the time he has the age to become a prince.

That man wait in the shadows, waiting that the young prince became a man, waiting the day that Mars will be free from that man who take the throne...

Duck: no... my mother... in the orphanage they say to me they found this necklace with me... I'm sure is from my mother...
Lexi: *sad* uh... sorry... I didn't know...
Tech: mmm... it look like Mars made
Lexi and Duck: Uh?
Tech: nothing... nice necklace... Where did you buy it? I want one like that for my GF *he doesn't know what Lexi and Duck were talking about, he just arrive*
Duck: *sigh*
Tech: did I say something bad?
Lexi: Is better let him alone...

Duck look the necklace without knowing that from the shadow someone is looking at him, waiting the moment...

I've heard from an anonymous source that Duck's real name is 'Danny' (YES!) and his (biological) parents were called Monty and Dilahla.

My source, however, is not exactly verifiable. XP

Well we'll have to wait until an episode that will officially verify it.

Even if you did hear it from a reliable source, WB can easily change it. I bet they change many plotlines for the series until the one they chose to air.
