All of Marsden's voices sound alike.
But out of all of them, Max sounds the most like Duck.

That's pretty typical for people who specifically want to be voice actors. If they have a certain voice or have good range they typically get a lot of work. If you look up almost any voice actor for a character in any cartoon series, they tend to have long credits and have probably been in something you've seen before. At least, I've always found that to be true :3

I actually am pretty good at recognising certain voices on several cartoons i watch now. After a while, you can tell which voices you've heard before.

True. But some voice actors are amazing at disguising their voice, and they're the ones who throw you off XD But people like Rob Paulsen, Charlie Adler, and Tress Macneille are easy to recognize, even when they disguise their voices because they have a certain quality to it.

But I have a hard time always recognizing who is Billy West (in Futurama alone) and before I looked it up, I had no idea that Heffer from Rocko's Modern Life, Dog from CatDog, and Spongebob from Spongebob Squarepants were all Tom Kenny. I also can't recognize Mr. Lawrence's voice (both Filbert from Rocko's and Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants).

Commercials drive me crazy because there's no many places that will credit them for you so you pretty much have to guess XD The only reason I know that Carlos Alazraqui, Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life, was also the Taco Bell Dog was because of his Comedy Special.

I'm able to recognise Rob Paulsen most of the time because of the energy he puts into his voice. It shows how good a voice-actor he is. =D

I actually think Charlie Adler can be hard to identify in various cartoons. He really does drastically contrasting voices as Buster Bunny in Tiny Toons, T-Bone in Swat Kats and Optimatus in LU!

I can usually recognize him (but I've never seen Swat Kats nor seen any LU episodes with Optimatus). It's possible I've only heard his similar voice acting stints from Buster in Tiny Toons (except towards the end where he left and was replaced by someone else), Ickis in Ahh! Real Monsters!, The Bigheads in Rocko's Modern Life and, like, everyone from Cow & Chicken. Admittedly, though, I don't remember if I immediately recognized him as Coach Oleander in Psychonauts, but I haven't played that in over a year and my memory is awful =\

To be fair, almost all voice actors (or actors disguishing an accent - like Hugh Laurie in House and Radha Michell in Silent Hill) can be given away when they laugh or scream because it's difficult to disguise your voice when you're straining it. And Charlie Adlers characters tend to laugh a lot. Also a lot of voice actors have a 'type' (like Tim Curry almost always plays someone who's evil) and it's fair to say he's easier to recognize in like roles.

...is Tim Curry the guy who played Count Olaf in the Unfortunate Events movie?

Bugs Bunny doll: That's Jim Carrey, silly.

Oh.

Tim Curry is the easiest to recognize voicewise, I think.

"You got your Loonatics in my Halo!"

It's pretty surprising that the same person who voiced Tech and Slam also played as the Brute Chieftan, Tartarus, in Halo 2.

Kevin M. Richardson does alot of deep-voiced roles. He was Mammoth and Trigon from Teen Titans.

Well, I know that Trigon was the father of Raven on Teen Titans. He was basically a thinly disguised version of Satan.
