A simple but touching story about Tech and Rev's friendship here Rye! I enjoyed it! I think it perfectly portrayed the nature of Tech and Rev's interactions and relationship. Who with a heart can stay mad at Rev's innocence?

I read this story on FF.net earlier today. It hasn't gotten any less sweet and heartfelt. Fics like these remind me of how I would prefer to read well-written, character-driven short stories over long, sprawling multi-chapter arcs. The potrayal of Rev is especially insightful. He's gone a long way from being the walking, talking speed gag he was in season one.

This is one of my first attempts at an LU story.
I was worried it might be OOC.
I only started watching the series in December.
(Though I have seen the entire first season and am craving the second season...)
And seriously... Rev is so wonderful. I want to hug him.
I adore his and Tech's friendship.
That's actually what got me hooked. =)

Indeed.
I'm inspired to write a lot of Rev.
I feel that he is too often pushed to the background by other characters, and only called forward when his speed is necessary.
I'd like to think that there's a lot more to him.
A childish side perhaps.
And I can't wait to have time to explore it in words. x3

I agree that Rev and Slam are often the Loonatics that get the least attention in the show, but I think you'll do Rev's character alot of justice in time to come Rye! Keep up the love and good writing!

Mm-hmm. For sure. I would try to help Slam out a little with his fanbase, but well... it's just hard to decide what's going on in his mind. I s'pose that's why he's pushed aside.
But Rev... there's absolutely no reason for him to be a background character. Just because he talks really fast doesn't make him any less likeable or any less intelligent. He's smart AND loveable.
Anyways, thank you very much. I certainly hope I can give him the justice he deserves. =)

Rev is actually of above average intelligence, that i agree with certainly. He probably comes second after Tech on that aspect definitely.

For sure. He proved that in... what episode was that? "Comet Cometh", I think it was. It's one of the factors that adds to his friendship with Tech. The others can't seem to fully appreciate Tech's genius. With Ace calling his inventions "toys" and being constantly cut off in the middle of a very precise explanation... Simply because his vocabulary, as well as his imaginative abilities, goes over their heads. I'm positive Rev is the only one who actually ever knows what he's talking about in those circumstances. <3

Mm-hmm. Most definitely. And yes, of course Rev can get on his nerves sometimes, but hey... it's Rev. How can everyone possibly share his enthusiasm? xD

Well, that's just the way I like to think of it. According to the show plotline, I don't think they did. Buuuut in my own personal Loonatics Unleashed world, I think it would be cool if they did. Actually, the two that make it seem like they actually did know of each other before the meteor would be Lexi and Slam. Remember for Slam's flashback how Lexi said something along the lines of, "I haven't seen Slam have this much fun since his old days in the wrestling ring." So either it implies that she just saw him on TV and therefore knew of him, or she was friends with him... -ponders-

I completely love the relationship between Tech and Rev. Even though Rev gets on Tech's nerves and Tech often insults/hurts Rev with his bluntedness, they still stick together... so cute! *hearts*

And I like how you emphasized on the point that Rev can come across as rather childlike and naive... and the thought of Tech melting at his friend's ooc-ness was totally fluffy!

all in all - 5 out of 5. Coz the fluffiness got me!

I love Rev and Tech's friendship. When I first started watching the show, I expected the complete opposite, especially their first scene together where Tech shoved the pizza into Rev's mouth. Truth be told, I was dissapointed at first by their friendship, but now I wouldn't have it any other way.
