I always thought that Ace/Lexi would be easier to write. Duck and Lexi are contrasting characters and it isn't easy to make them click together.... at least that's how it was for me.

Yeah I THink Lexi And Ace Are Reallly Good Together if your asking that and me an my cousin made this story and you should read it,it would make u very....i dunno but yeah

Not for me! When I write AcexLexi, it's fluff, fluff, and more fluff! For Duxi, I dunno, maybe because they're so contrasting, it makes it easier for me to write!

I got to agree with you about that.

I feel that Ace and Lexi might have seemed closer in the first season but they seemly have cooled somewhat in the second season. It makes me wonder if TPTB might have decided against an Ace/Lexi romance; that is to say if they were even considering a romance.

IMHO, on the surface Duck and Lexi seem contrasting, but if one analyzes their personalities they surprisingly have a lot in common. Personally, I find Duck and Lexi to have a dynamic relationship that makes for entertaining TV. Right now, with Ace/Lexi there doesn't seem to be anything interesting going on. Even though a romance can most likely happen with Ace/Lexi, as of now, I would view it as something rather banal. I could live with an Ace/Lexi romance, but I wouldn't really care about it.

I haven't had any premonitions concerning LU ... Sorry.

Yup, you're right about tarot cards. I have little confidence about my tarot reading abilities though.  I have a hard time telling if I'm influencing the deck or getting an accurate reading.

Nobody in my family even knows I have a tarot decks. If they knew, they'd be bothering me all the time about %$#@ Lotto numbers.

I just read "Gone", doggirl2772. The first chapter is very good and quite touching.

Thankfully, my tarot reading isn't about that. I don't believe there will be a death but so far there might be a shake-up of some sorts. The Tower seems to be a constant in the readings.

Ah well, I only do tarots for fun ... nothing serious.

I agree that the best we can do is 'wait and see' what will happen.

The one thing that really bugs me about tarot reading is that the cards can only allude to the question being asked. So a lot seems to depend on the types of questions posed. Like if a question is too general or too specific. It's difficult to strike a good balance in the type of inquiry.

As for The Tower, I didn't think of it as being a literal meaning of the Loonatics Tower being destroyed. But then again, who knows (well, except for TPTB ).

My mom has some tarot cards too. But she won't let me use them.

Twilightgirl's got some tarot cards from a book. Only it's only basic and it has the following on the cards:

• Fire
• Water
• Air
• Earth
• Wet
• Dry
• Hot
• Cold

When she used those cards, those cards were bloody accurate! My question was based on the results of the cards and no word of a lie, they were so accurate!

I don't have tarot cards, I use my Neopets cards to play with instead. XD

My mom reads tarot too (she has three packs, in fact). I myself am not into the magical practices much, obviously meaning I don`t read tarot. I just don`t feel the magic gift.

I don't think the Tarot is evil, it's just a divinatory tool. They say the ouija board can be evil though, and i've participated in one before, though nothing terrible happened afterward.

Hmm, after reading your post super freak, i feel like bringing out my tarot deck again as well now.

The Tarot's quite complicated with the size of its deck and the spreads and all. But you could have a go. You'd need a good tarot book.

Black Oracle is right: About the tarot not being evil, it just a divinatory tool. And about needing a good tarot explanatory book in order to understand the use of tarots.
 

While certain specialty decks can cost a lot, typical decks such as the Rider-Waite and Universal Waite aren't pricey. Most tarot decks can be brought at bookstores such as Borders; Waldenbooks; Barnes & Noble; etc. If you buy a new deck, it should come with an explanatory book. In addition, most public libraries should have a section on the occult, so there should be some books about tarot divination.


I almost forgot to ask....

Are there any official model sheets available for the characters?
Are there any official schematics of the Loonatics' headquarters (tower and/or underwater) or of their equipment?
Is Duck shorter in the second season than in the first?
What are the official heights of the various characters (especially the Loonatics)?

I was hoping that the creative team had placed some official information about the series on line. *sigh* Oh, well.

Supposedly, due to ancient superstitions, redheads are in league with the devil.

For modern times: I've heard about the fiery temper but (for the US) I've also heard about redheads having a tendency to be wacky. While somewhat passionate, I'm more of the wacky variety.

B_O:  Unfortunately, the LU Wikipedia article isn't completely up-to-date, and has no images.  WB still needs to throw us a bone in that regard.

Regarding heights - I don't think they're quite that short.  I think "The Music Villain" is about the best we have to go on, so that's what I'll use.  Since we usually don't see the 'tics around humans, I'm gonna use Zadavia as a yard stick.  She appears to be quite tall - at the concert she is clearly as tall or taller than most of the people in view.  I'd peg her as being about 6' or a smidge more.  The top of Tech's head looks to be roughly at her shoulder in several shots (sometimes adjusting for perspective), which would make him nearly 5'.  That would mean Rev is about the same, Lexi a bit less, and Ace a bit more.  Duck was closer to her waist and is about at Tech's shoulder, so he's the closest to the 4' mark.  Slam I don't think is any taller than the others (besides Duck), just three times broader.  Looking at something more general, when the 'tics go through people-sized doors,  Ace and Tech's ears come to about where you'd expect the top of a person's head to be, and they don't have much more than a foot of ear.

Wow, that was really long-winded.


Super Freak:  Red-heads holla'! XD  In that article, I think it's interesting the suggestion that the biochemistry that gives us our unusual pigmentation is also giving us extra "fight-or-flight" hormones.

Those things you mentioned earlier - character sheets, vital stats, schematics - would all make great bonus material for the Season 2 DVD. *crosses fingers*  It'd be nice to actually have some real bonus material.  That goofy game doesn't count.


Oddity:  Official ones?  I've done a fair amount of poking around and never come across any.  Perhaps they were just really well-done fan versions?

Oh, yes, official ones. I found them when a person on FF.net linked to it, and I checked around a bit, and there were copyright marks and stuff. Also, it was labeled as S2 villain planning, and Stomper and the Apocazons were there.
