Duck quaked himself into the maine room which now had all the loonatics in it exsepet Ace. who was vigeresly trying to get though the mid morning croud. whishing he had tacken off by jet pack thin foot. 

Duck: Guys! Guys! You'll never guess what! 

Tech[standing by Siamese]:What is it Duck? 
Lexi looked out the window to see Ace rasing toured HQ. 

Duck: Its Ace! Hes got a girlfriend! A hotel worker! 
Lexi whent exprtionless. her hart felt torn. She could fell her eye geting hot but nothing came yet. 

Rev: Ace-got-a-girlfriend-who-how-whats-her-name- 
The front door hissed open to reveal a wezing Ace trying to cach his breth. At the site of him Lexi speed off to her room, seen by no one but Max, as her door hissed shut behined her they came the ters fell, hot and streeming.
 
Leening agenst her door Lexi slid to her nees and put her face into her hands. She didn't quiet know why she was crying. Lucky for her no one came and she was left in peac till noon came. And she prayed that no one would asker why she had left the room with such hast.

"I DONT LIKE ZADAVIA!!!" Duck yelled.

"Sure you don't." kari said sarcasticly, rolling her eyes.

"So-Ace-whos-Diane? Are-you-really-going-out-with-her? How'd-you-meet-her? When-did-you-meet-her? When-do-we-get-to-meet-her? Does-she-even-know-your-a-Loonatic?" Rev asked the panting Ace who suddenly looked confuzed and embarassed.

Ace was wondering what Rev had said before realizing he had said Diane's name. His confuzed expression turned into one of fury as he glared at Duck and started to advance on him. "You told them! I cant believe you! You are such a slimy, backstabbing, low-lifed..."

Tommy and Max grabbed his arms before he could get any closer to Duck. They struggled to keep the leader of the mallard, who was grinning to himself despite the fearful predicament he was in.

"Hey you said nothing about not telling anybody! And they would've found out anyway. Better sooner then later, right?" Duck asked, shrugging and still wearing that smug look on his face.

"When I get my hands on you, your gunna wish you were never born!" Ace growled, still trying to get at him.

Tech walked over and put a hand on the agitated bunny's shoulder. "Ace, calm yourself. He's right, we would've found out sooner or later. Its better now and from him, then on that pesky gossip show 'The Entertainer'."

Ace stopped struggling against Tommy and Max and looked up at Tech. "Ya but I bet with his big beak, its gunna be out in the open by tomorrow."

kari nodded sadly. "Probably. But you still didn't answer Rev's questions. Tell us about her. And how come Duck knew but we didn't?"

"Because he followed me there." Ace said through gritted teeth. "And no Duck, she wouldn't go out with you if you were the last guy in Acmetroplis!" He sighed before straightening up and started answering Rev's questions. But he felt good to get it off his chest after.

Lexi was still in her room, not wanting to believe what she had heard. Someone else had found out how great a guy Ace was and had beaten her to the punch of getting him. But she still felt miserable. She didn't want to talk to anyone about it either, so she decided to get her mind off it.

She got up and headed towards the virtual trainer. After about 40 minutes, she felt really good. She had forgotten about the whole Ace thing, for now at least. She smiled as her score showed on the board. Her best one yet! Lexi grabbed a pink towel and wiped her face before hearing a voice behind her.

????: "Hey."

The days pasted by some days long others short, all the way to the day of the meader shower. At the top of Loonatics HQ sat all the Loonatics on a balcony. Tech sat nexst to Siamese, sharing a blanket with her. In front of them on the grouned was Cody and Anne, who he had asked to come and wache the shower with him. Rev and Kari wher at the raling standing hand in hand. Slam, Duck, and Tommy wher jest wandering arouned. Lexi stoud with alittle distinc between her and the rest of the team. Max was doing the same. And Ace sat next to Diane they wher being wached by a set of eyes. Ace rapped his arem arouned Diane.

Lexi looked away from Ace and his date, as streems of ters started to fall from her cheks. Lexi had bin able to hold them back almost the hole time sins she had lerned about Ace and Diane.

Lexi thinking: Why am I crying? Do I realy care this much about Ace? Do I realy wount to be with him?

Max: Lexi?
Max interuptid her thoughts. Lexi looked at him tery eyed thin quikly looked away, but he had all ready saw.

Max: Are you crying?
Max know a little to well who she was crying a bout.

Max: Lisen, Lex, I know I haven bin hear that long. And this may be non of my bisness saying this but this is about Ace isint it?

She looked at max still tering

Max: Ace means a lot to you. Maybe more thin wount to belef. And seeing him hear with some els...completly ignoring you. So your in pain.

Lexi let her sholders and ears droup down. The ters came faster and silent. She looked so sad to max. He put his hands on her armes rubbing them in a conferting manor.

Max: Der. Der. don't cry.

Lexi looked at him and smiled. Max reflectid it. He looked at Lexis neckless and plased the haert in the palm of his hand.

Max: You know when I gave you this[He sounded nerves] It was...well kinda out of more thin friend ship.

The two stared at each other acwerdly. There eyes where looked, and they bolth lened in.

At that moment Ace had tacken a glans around and had looked his gaze at Lexi and Max. What he saw sent a flash of rage corsing through him for some odd reson.

Lexi and Max finished ther kiss and stared into each others eyes. two pares of emeralds. Ther eye twinkled as streeks of light crossed the sky. Lexi looked up.

Lexi: It's begining

Max[staring strat at Lexi]: Ya it's begining

The two took each others hand a looked at the sky. Laxi looked away for a moment to look at her friends, manly drown to the site of Ace holding Diane clouse. She looked away with a small pain in her haert.

Lexi: Max[he looked down at Lexi] you need to know that my feelings for Ace my stay in me fore a long time. Making a relationship between you and me very dificalt...Fore all I know I my never get over Ace.

Max: Thin I'll wait for never to come right hear by your side.

Lexi smiled and kissed him for the seconed time that night. By now thogh others, besides Ace, wher notising Lexi kissing Max.

Tech looked down at Cody and Ane gigaling at the adults behver. Tech notesed that ther tails had become intertwined.

Tech: Um..Rev best make that 4 allrety[Tech pointed down at the two kids]
Cody joltid up totaly imberessed

Siamese: It's ok Cody you wo jest have fun and wach the shower.

Cody sat back down, reder thin revs uniform. Everyone looked back up to the night sky. After a few minets Ace got up and leaned next to the balkane door a way from everyone els. His mined cept flip-flopin on him. Lexi looked over at him.

Lexi to max: I'll be right back Max

Max: Oh sher thing

Lexi got up and started for Ace, half way she stopped and took a deap breth and finished her jorne to Ace. She know what to do, she needed to tell and talk with Ace. Even though she didn't know what the out come would be.

Lexi didn't know how, or what, to say.

Lexi: We 'the origonal six' have bin Loonatics what...3 years now?

Ace: Ye...About[Ace was lisening entensly and cosfused]

Lexi: Well over thoughs 3 years I've had growing felings for one of my team mates[She looked away from Ace]...and..to night...hes with some one els and it kinda herts, I doin't know why i'm telling you this...I gest felt like i had to. It probly whount chang any thing for he has her and I have Max now.

Ace stared at Lexi a little speechless, and looked over to the group. Whas it Tech or Rev she was talkin about. To Ace bolth seemed to be very unlikly, but they where the only ones with dates that night, besides himself.

Ace[in a quiet voic]: Tech or Rev

Lexi[who had terned her hole body away]: What?...Ace its non of them its...its...you[she wispered]
Lexi started to walk away but fet someones hand holding on to hers so that she coulden't. It was Aces tern to speek.

"Me?" he asked, turning her around to face him.

Lexi didn't dare look into his eyes. She felt them sinking into her skin, peircing her very soul and heart. She nodded.

Ace was extremely suprised.

"You've liked me this entire time?" he asked.

Lexi nodded once again. "But you have Diane now, and I have Max. I know nothing can ever happen but I felt that I should tell you anyway."

Ace chuckled in disbelief. So this whole time, she had felt the same way about him as he did about her.

Lexi looked up at him, confused. "Whats so funny?" she asked.

Ace looked down at her and smiled. "I...I never would've thought that the girl I've liked all this time, would turn out to have the same feelings towards me."

Lexi stared at him. "You like me? What about Diane?"

Ace looked down at her, and sighed. "Ya, I like you. Duck was right, I always have since we first met. You make me smile and make me feel as if I can take on whatever the world has to offer. And Diane....she...she actually suggested that me and her just stay good friends if I wanted to be with you. I care about her as she does me, she just wants me to be happy. I care about her alot. I care about you alot too, maybe more. It's all just so confuzing."

She felt her heart soar before crashing again. Lexi glanced over at Max and Diane, who were still watching the meteor shower. "I guess we'll never get the chance to be together. You have Diane and I have Max."

Ace also glanced at their dates. He spoke slowly. "Well...maybe not today or in a week or a year, but we might be together later on in life." He tried to think how to say what was on his mind. He finally just said it. "Lex, you'll always be in my heart. No matter what happens. Even though we're not together, we still are. In our hearts and dreams, and maybe those dreams will come true someday."

Lexi smiled softly at him when realization about something he had said hit her. She giggled.

It was his turn to be confused. "Whats so funny?"

She stopped long enough to answer. "I never thought I'd hear you say 'Duck was right'."

He started laughing also. They looked into each other's eyes, smiling happily, glad that they had gotten those feelings off their chest.

Now to figure out the fight and seceret. Any ideas?

Hmmmm... good idea kari, but isn't that a bit similar to a different fanfic on here? It was another add-on fanfic and it used that idea but for a different planet.

But it's the only idea we got so far and it would give Duck a bit of the spotlight as well as Kari. I think its good but what about the fight? Maybe we should see what else we can come up with. Any others? I'm seriously brain-dead.

the fight would be optimatias,a new stronger villan and danger ducks father........

Wow! I'm gone for a few hours and then the ideas come flooding in by the barrel full!

I love these ideas! Cody having powers, a new villian, an evil sibling, these could probably make this awsome story even better!

Outside in the main room, Cody and Rev were playing a game of chess with Kari on the sidelines watching.

Rev was in deep concentration, hoping that he would figure out how to beat the young Coyote at his own game. Finally, he moved a piece forward and sat back in his chair, smirking.

Cody studied the board for a few seconds before moving his queen and knocking over Rev's king, winning the match. He smirked at the roadrunner's astonished expression.

Kari smiled and pulled Cody's arm into the air. "And your winner is, Cody!!!"

Rev still looked down at the chess board in disbelievement. How could he have lost!? He snapped out of it and shook Cody's hand in a good sportsmanship manner. "Good match." He chuckled.

"Likewise." Cody replied.

Just then Lexi came into the room with Siamese. Cody jumped up and ran over to them. "Mama, Mama, I won the chess match!"

"Thats great honey!" Siamese exclaimed giving him a hug.

"Well done champ!" Lexi laughed ruffling his hair. He laughed when she did that to him.

"Rematch!" shouted Rev pointing at Cody. The young coyote smiled before rushing over replying, "Your on!"

They were interrupted by a couple of voices that were growing louder and louder by the second. Ace and Duck walked into the room arguing about something. They kept walking till they were out in another hallway. The other Loonatics could still hear them arguing.

"Your just afraid because you know that I'll beat you!"

"Ha! The day you beat me is the day that pigs fly!"

"Pinkster flew that day we met him!"

"Sorry to burst your bubble Doc, but he was on a hover-cycle! That doesn't really count as flying."

"Does so!"

"Does not!"

"Does so!"

"Does not!"

"Does so!"

"Will you quit shovin' me!"

"You stop shoving me!"

CRASH!!!

"Now look what you did!"

"Me?! It was all your falt, fuzz foot!"

"It was your falt, webbed feet!"

"Hair-ball!"

"Feather-head!"

"Dust-Bunny!"

"Feather duster!"

The voices grew farther away until the main room was in complete silence. The Loonatics looked at each other before the original 4 started laughing. Max, Tommy, Kari and Siamese looked at their teammates confuzed.

"I'm guessing that happens often?" Kari asked.

"Hahaha...ya. In fact, it's considered not normal if they dont!" Rev replied making the other 3 roar with laughter.

Little did they know that just on the other side of that door, the two figures in question were listening intently.

"Ha! We did it again!" Duck whispered triumphantly.

"Mission accomplished!" Ace muttered, smirking as the two high-fived each other and walked towards the kitchen.

"I have no clue as to how they escaped. All I know is that they did." Zadavia answered. "You must contain these four before the whole planet of Acmetroplis is thrown into chaos. Good Luck Loonatics."

"Whats with them?" Tommy asked pointing over at the unconcious Duck and Kari who was sitting on the couch.

"With Duck, it could be anything. With Kari, I don't know. She seemed upset when Zadavia told us who we were after." Lexi commented.

"Well the first thing we gotta do is get Ace back. He might have an idea on how to handle this situation." Max added.

"How though? He's not going to listen to us!" Tech exclaimed sinking into a chair.

Lexi looked over at the unmoving Duck and smirked. "Well...there might be someone....."

Ace sat in Diane's living room of her two bedroom appartment. "Thanks for lettin' me stay here." Ace said grinning gratefully at her. 

"Hey it's no problem. I owe you anyway." Diane said handing him a cup of hot chocolate and proceding back to the kitchen.

"I dont know how long I'm gunna be out of the team so I'm not totally sure how long I'll stay here." Ace muttered.

"Its fine with me. And I'm sure you'll be back in the Loonatics before long." she answered.

"How do you recken that?" Ace inquired.

Diane stuck her head into the doorway. "C'mon Ace, its not rocket science!You were born to be a hero. You live to help people. Its pretty much in your blood. And don't worry, you'll be back with the Loonatics before you know it."

Ace chuckled then sighed. "I'm just sayin' that it could be awhile before I do rejoin." The door bell rang and he went to answer it. "It could be days or weeks or...."

Standing on the other side of the door and looking up at Ace with a pleading expression, was none other then Danger Duck.

"....or seconds." Ace said suprised.

"Ace please, we need your help! Optimatus and Deuce have escaped and they have two new allies with them!" Duck stated hurridly.

"THEY WHAT!?!" shouted Ace.

"Is what?!" Duck said, starting to get annoyed at the female bunny.

Rev shot him an angry glare before sitting next to Kari and putting his arm around her. "Whats the matter with your sister?" he asked gently.

Kari looked at him, her eyes shimmering with soon to come tears. "She's with Optimatus and Deuce." she whispered.

"You mean as a hostage?" Tommy asked.

"No....." she took a quivering breath before continuing. "She's.....one of their new allies.....She's Shadow Demon."

The others looked at her in astonishment. This was going to be hard.

Kari couldn't contain herself much longer and finally let herself cry into Rev's shoulder, who gently patted her on the back.

"You too?!"

They all froze and turned towards the one who had spoke. Opon seeing his teammates frozen and shocked faces, Duck blushed and stared at the ground hastily.

"Wha...what did you say?" Siamese said.

Duck sighed before looking up at the team. "What I meant was, I also have a family member working with them."

"So....I guess your related to that guy, Duck All Mighty?" Max questioned.

Duck nodded before staring back down at the floor, ashamed. 

The team went silent. This was going to be even harder then they would've liked. Two of their teammates would be fighting against one of their family. Just one thing didn't make sense.

"But....I thought you said you were adopted." Lexi said quietly.

Duck shifted his weight from foot to foot nervously. He finally looked up at thier eyes and started, "Well....not exactly....."
