I'm as excited as you are and I don't mean to put a damper on things, but this seems like a rather bad omen to me. Though WB supposedly still hasn't decided whether or not to pick up LU again in the fall, if they were going to, don't you think they'd set the release date of the second season DVD further from the S1 DVD? It will have only been four months. While that site does make a valid point about it being out for the back-to-school shopping season, I don't think it bodes well for LU's future.

How was the sales for the season one DVD? Perhaps, the first sold so well that WB wants to get season two out as quickly as possible.

Anyhoos, the early release of this DVD could very well mean the end of LU. It got me thinking about something else, so I did a quick study at 6:00 AM and found the following...
7:00
7:30
8:00
8:30
9:00
9:30
10:00
10:30
11:00
11:30
Count them. It leaves 10 slots in the KidsWB schedule. Now let's count the shows that I know will return.
(1)Leigon of Superheroes, (2) Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue, (3) Tom and Jerry Tales, (4) Johnny Test, (5) Monster Allergy, and (6) The Batman.
I believe all these shows are coming back. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, there has been news that 4 new shows will come to KidsWB next season. Add 6 and 4 and you've got.......

10 for 10. And no LU.
So unless they play old or new episodes later in the year, cancel one of the other shows, or my info is wrong...,

And yeah. My weird way of looking at things.

Good to hear a S2 DVD will be out soon. But bad if it's a sign that this is the end of LU! I didn't manage to get a petition going. I tried twice at petitiononline.com, but i never received confirmation email from them. I'm quite annoyed at that. Anyone know any other petition sites i could try?

*sigh* Tech and Rev are in the background again. Why do they always have to be in the background?
I understand that some of the characters need to be put behind for space issues, but why always those two? They're not 'supportive characters' in the show, they're just as important as the rest of the team.

*shakes head* They're even more far behind in this cover than in the first season's dvd. I'm very very disappointed.

Speaking of the DVDs, does anyone know of a site that delivers worldwide, and that accepts PayPal payments? I'd really like to buy the first season, and this one when it's out. I'd order from Amazon, but they don't accept PayPal and I really don't trust e-Bay.

Other than that Rev/Tech issue, I like this cover better than S1. The art seems to be of higher quality, and the 'tics are more active, instead of just posing for the camera.

I'd offer to buy and send you a copy (personal Paypal accounts can receive money that isn't from a credit card), but you have no more reason to trust me than eBay.

Not only are they just in the background agian, but they look off. Kinda distorted more so than the rest of the gang...dang.
I dunno, I'm never really impressed with dvd covers anymore.

1. Jealous of Ace being front and center
2. Scheming to steal Ace's glory
3. Oggling Ace while he isn't looking. XD

Well that S2 cover looks more dynamic like Ski says, but i noticed Tech, Rev and Slam weren't as prominent as Ace, Lexi and Duck. Oh well, those three are the focus trio of the series, they would be given more spotlight. Tech also looks very serious there!

You wish! I think that's just the angle of the perspective. The tips of Tech's ears are closer to the front.

It's a dynamic cover. I'll give it that much. Not bad--I've seen worse. I like it slightly better than the first box art. It's acceptable.

Another error I just noticed - the multipurpose comm devices in their left gauntlets are backwards. The points should be toward their hands. It's easy to tell on Duck and Lexi, but just enough is visible on Tech, Rev, and Slam to see that they've been drawn wrong, too.

At least they were consistent in their incorrectness.

Thanks for the offer, that's real nice. Nah, I have more reason to trust you than any random seller on e-Bay, but I wouldn't want to bother you with it. I have several friends from the US who could and probably would buy it for me, I just really don't like asking. Call it pride or...i don't know. XD

That's not a problem, I generally don't pre-order anything, but go after stuff once they're released. So it doesn't matter.

Thank American artists for the errors. They grab people here to do things like DVD covers, not the cheap Korean labor that handles all the episode art.

And they were originally gunna get this out September 2 2008! I wonder what changed their minds to release it earlier. confused

I'm happy and sad that its coming so soon. biggrin

Sad because the only reason I can think of them moving it closer to the 1st one is because of Ski's reason. But I will not give up! I will continue to pray for LU!!

And you know what? maybe it is because the sales for the 1st season was so good. When I got mine, it was the only one left!! biggrin

Hey everyone! I was lookin for new pics of the loonatics when I came upon a review about LU's 1st season.

Ya it's about the first season, I just think that this is cool to know that there are people that are realizing what a great show LU is!

I also found out that they're combining seasons 1 and 2 to make a 4 pack! Do you think this is a 'Oh no' or a 'good idea'?

Definitely the former. "Oh no", since a box set is usually considered a complete collection, and it would be very odd for them to create something like that with only two seasons currently available if they actually planned on making more.

Ah well. I actually wouldn't be too heartbroken if the series came to an end, especially since I got into it much later than everybody here. But I'll be damn pissed if I don't get to have Tech and Rev figurines >_>

I think they should have LU action figures of all the Loonatics and villains too. I wanna Rev plushie doll too. Plushie dolls of all the loonatics would be good too.

Indeed, plushies are much easier to snuggle than figurines, though I personally want both. I'd like to see some LU clothing, too, 'cuz often a kids' XL will fit me. biggrin

It depends on who actually manufactures the shirt, and they tend to be a little smaller than I would prefer, but yeah, a kids' XL is often totally doable. One of the few times only being 5'7" is an advantage. I want to be able to declare my love of LU to the world!

I'd like to see some posters, too. Nothin' like waking up to Tech's lovely face looking at you from the opposite wall to improve your whole day. biggrin
