I am going to quote something said by a man with a PhD in Quantum Phisics (I CAN'T SPELL!) He said "time and space is like a blanket. If you can make this blanket ragged, you can make holes in it without breaking it. All a time machine is a blanket raggeder." and he also said "Time is like a wheel. If you go backwards enough, you'll go forwards." that has alot to do with timetravelling. BTW: The guy's name is Gareth Dando and he's my best friend's dad.

But time isnt even an element.

Time is something we've invented to measure the 3 dimensional processes. Everything that changes doesnt change because of time. Metal doesnt rust because it gets ''old'' it rusts because the oxygen around it makes a chemical reaction and oxidizes it.

There is nothing called time. You cant travel through something that doesnt exist, we're still at the same period in time as the stone age, we've just moved things.

No, you cant use it period!

You just step on a flower and you could inflict who knows what kind of damage, you bump into a guy so he doesnt notice his future wife walking down the street, so they dont have kids who then dont have their kids, and everything they'd ever do is gone!

you can NEVER use a time machine.

Time is like a really long pole, if you start waving a really long pole, the bottom end doesnt move very much, but the end of it makes long swings.

Actually I believe Einstein proved that time was a discernable element, that could be altered. I am not a physics major, so I don't know the specifics, but he definetly said time did have the capability of being altered.

No we wouldnt, we'd just have defined an hour as two minutes, it wouldnt change anything.

All we did, is make some clocks, thats it.

Well still couldnt use it though, because

We broke the day into equal parts, and broke those parts into equal parts and so on. BUT! If we changed the defintion of "hour" we would have to change how long a "day" would be. Throwing the timespace continum into DISASTER! Because, they didn't have those measurements in the past, so Nothing would make sence. The dinosaurs didn't die out 60 million years ago, because a year would be "longer". Thus, my point is made. evileye

Well, okay, but the actual progression of time still doesn't change no matter how we re-define it. Though I'm fairly sure that is not your point.
