Truce, schmuce. Once Optimatus gets that traitorous Deuce out of the picture, he'll turn on everyone else. He's not going to forget his hatred for his sister and the Loonatics just like that.
Darkseid doesn't invite Superman over for tea and biscuits just because he helped him defeat Brainiac.

I highly doubt any of the "good" guys will perish but I wonder if Deuce will "kick the bucket" Saturday morning style. Such as falling into a wormhole, where for the most part, he can be assumed dead but it'll be ambiguous--in such that he can be brought back if need be.
*sigh* I really wish for at least another season. Perhaps, in that wishful third season, Loonatics could have a run-in with Deuce's sister, Thrice.
Thrice! LOL! Well it seems the lines between friend and foe are becoming diluted in the S2 finale. I expect it shall all end quite dramatically somehow!
I agree. I really dont think that Optimatus will be a good guy for the rest of his life. Im pretty sure that when Deuce is out of the picture, he'll turn back into the villian that he is. I hope so anyway, i really would hate it if the evilist villan in the entire show turns good for life!
and Bravo to Ace! at least he isnt as trusting of villans as he was before. Im glad he learned his lesson.
I know but what would be Loonatics Unleashed without evil Optimatus? and i cant really think of a non-evil Optimatus without laughing and thinking 'ya, like thats ever gunna happen.'

I was actually thinking that Optimatus would betray Deuce. In fact, I think he's expecting Deuce to do something to him. I believe that even though he is evil, Optimatus probably has more power over him and every other villian.

I'm quite suprised Deuce didn't even grab the Guardian Strike Sword after it flew out of Ace's hand. After all, he did want the sword since they met in "The Secrets of the Guardian Strike Sword".
What's he supposed to do? Throw himself recklessly after the Guardian Strike Sword and risk getting hit by crossfire from either the Loonatics or his own robots?! *Imagines...*
Deuce (Seeing the sword fly out of Ace's hand.): The sword! *Leaps for it, stretching out his hand toward it, but then is hit by a laser blast from Ace.* D'OH!
I think Deuce wanted to do a different and less obvious approach since this is his second encounter with Ace and the gang. But, he might get the sword in the second part of the episode.

Because Deuce wanted permission from Zadavia to unleash his robot armies for the warfare of Freling. But Zadavia refused as she wants peace throughout the whole universe. So that's why Deuce turned into a traitor to Zadavia.
Let's settle with something more practical: he wanted to conquer other planets for the reasons which are the same as to why people want to conquer other countries.

I dont want to bring anyone down but according to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_WB%21 LU will not come back to kids wb along with 4 other shows and 5 new shows are to come in the fall.
Nooooooooooooooooo!!!! So thats it?! Thats the end?! It's all over!!! How can they do this??!! Nooooooooo!!!!! -starts sobbing-
sis:-looks at me- why are you crying? me: Cause...no....more...LU.... sis:-eyes wide- Really?! me:-getting annoyed- Yes really! Why else would I be crying my eyes out!! sis:-backs away slowly- ok. I get it. I'm just gunna go now...ya....
It's a real shame. When I saw the list of shows that were going to air in the future, it made me angry. Loonatics is a very funny show and it seems that all the good shows are being taken off for no reason at all.

There's still a chance that LU might be picked up again mid-season, so let's keep our fingers crossed for that. Continuing to send e-mails and letters to Kids' WB certainly wouldn't hurt, either.

How can 'Johnny Test' and 'Shaggy & Scooby Doo Get a Clue' be renewed for another season but not LU!!! I've seen all three shows and LU, in my opinon, is the best out of the three!! How come the best shows (and their fans) gotta suffer to make room for the new one!?! And LU was just starting to rise up in popularity!!! Grrrr..... WB, you might be losing more and more fans by this following this plan!!!! And you know what, This was probably the last chance for LT too! No more LU means no more LT! Its..... just......that.....it.....grrrrrrrrrrrr..................
me:-storms away- Ace: -sighs before typing the rest-
Doggirl is just a bit mad about this whole thing. Give her an hour or so and she'll probably be calmed down. Key word: 'probably'.
Ok i've calmed down now. I'm still mad @ WB though.
Skifox: Your right. We just gotta keep our fingers crossed for them to pick it up again, even if it's mid-season as long as they come back.
kari: oh gawd I hope it is. but its probably true. -sighs sadly-
-takes calming breaths- I wish that they would give LU a second chance. It's a great show, they just gotta see how many people care for it. To tell ya the truth, the only reason I watch WB kids is to see the Loonatics. They'll be sorely missed if this is really the end.
D.G.: Like I said, we need to keep nudging WB in the right direction with letters and e-mails. I've started drafting one that I'm going to send to everyone at WB who might have some say in LU's future.
LU is the only reason WB gets my viewership, too. I like Tom & Jerry, but I only watch their current incarnation because it's right after LU. SaSD: GaC and Johnny Test really are crap, IMO, in basically every way. LU has good animation, superb voice acting, a great cast of characters, and tremendous merchandising potential (which is where the real money is made). If LU ends here, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi channel won't have to share me anymore.
Kari: I hope it is just a rumor. The Wikipedia article isn't very well documented, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's probably accurate.
I have to agree with loonaticfan that looking at the new shows, I don't really see any positives. Based on the admittedly meager information available, the Spiderman show is the only one that I think could catch on, though like The Batman and LoSH, I have no interest in it. I don't do Marvel/D.C. superheroes, nor am I keen on non-anthro animation.

By cancelling LU, WB would have been making a big mistake. Heck, they already did a large mistake by not releasing some LU merchendise because I'm sure it would have been profitable - I mean, these are the cool descendants of Looney Tunes! Which kid wouldn't want to buy LU trading cards or pajamas?

WHAT!? NO MORE LU!?!?!? OKAY! WHOSE IDEA WAS TO CANCEL IT AFTER A YEAR!?
Twilightgirl: WB.
Me: So a c****y version of Scooby Doo, an experimental kid and his dog, a cat and mouse get to have new series! But OOOOOOOOOOOOHH NO! LU DOESN'T DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE!? BULL! I say we invade the WB studios, and demand them to get the show back up! And if they refuse, we'll make our own version of LU! Their ideas were c**p anyway! We can even do a better job than them! If they read our fan fics and look at our fan art, they'd feel really embarrassed about themselves!
Just when I finally discover who I am and what my purpose in life is, they completely cut the rope! Well sorry WB! You have just lost a loyal watcher unless you bring LU up for a third series!

[Wow. Well said.]
[But it IS true -- if they cancel Loonatics Unleashed, they WILL lose so many fans that it is not even funny.]
[And I have to agree that they should have made LU fanstuffs.]
[Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go to school now.]
*applauds Akira_Cat.* How we all feel in a nutshell. I do agree that LU has brought out lots of things in us (or this site has brought out lots of things in us, and this site was sparked by LU in the first place). Hopefully the S2 DVD will sell well. It could possibly mean a return for LU mid-season. I've tried to mail someone that B_O put up in the "I mailed Tech" thread (not Kevin Michael Richardson, someone else) but my computer won't let me. Could someone put a a snail-mail address for Kids WB or an e-mail? Meanwhile, I will scout for more. This e-mai is on the feedback section of kidswb.com. I suppose we could write there, although I doubt that they will respond. feedback@cwtv.com
From the above KTLA site, there's an address for WB Animation to which you can send your comments, question and requests about LU:
Loonatics Unleashed (Kids' WB! on the CW) Warner Bros. Animation 15301 Ventura Boulevard, Unit E Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 818-977-8700 AIRS SATURDAYS DURING KIDS' WB!
To write to the head of Kids' WB! Programming, address letters to: Betsy McGowen, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Kids' WB! on The CW
Just thought you'd all like to know! If some of us could actually write some letters to the folks at WB Animation, i'm sure it'd help to raise their awareness about LU's popularity!"
They are sooooooo gunna lose lots of fans. My younger sibs, my 2 younger cousins AND my sister's friends were all in an uproar when I told them about this!! Even my friend Britt, who dislikes the show, was angery!!! I was really suprised and glad!!
It's not fair at all that Johnny Test and SaSD:GaC get renewed but LU doesnt. I'm pretty sure that there are more LU fans then there are for those two shows COMBINED!!! The WB probably has NO IDEA how much LU has grown in popularity since it first aired. If they knew, wouldn't there be a better chance for LU's third season and the popularity to continue growing? There are more and more people everyday realizing that LU isnt as bad a show as others have said it to be.
Humans are cowards. They hate to see ANYTHING change. They are too scared to see the greatness that new things have to hold. And there are only a few brave people out there that take the chance and see if it's worthwhile, while others automaticlly mark it as evil, horrible, rip offs and so on. Without those brave people who first started to watch Looney Tunes or Scooby Doo (the original) or Ghost busters or any of those great shows, there probably wouldn't be anything on today. Without those great and brave people, those shows would never have grown in popularity and become the great things we will always remember. Thanks to those people, others started to follow and enjoy the shows, turning them into the classics that will remain in our hearts. Thanks to those people, we have the many successful shows and movies today. But we just have to give them a chance. And that is what WB is taking away from LU. The chance to make them loved across the world. Maybe they'll never be as famous as their ancesters, but they always will be to those fans who were loyal to them.
