What we would liked to have seen in "In Search of Tweetums"?

Since quite a few of us here were left a little unsatisfied with how the finale ep "In Search of Tweetums" turned out, i'd like to know what sort of events and action you all think would have made the finale ep of season 2 better? I'm thinking of possibly doing a fan re-write of the ep and am just wondering what others think the final S2 ep should have been like? What would you all like to have seen happening if the actual plot left you somewhat dissatisfied?

Rev and Tech having some sort of fighting role. Maybe fending off the robot army, whilst the other Loonatics did their thing? I dunno, haven't seen the ep. XD;;

The Loonatics staying in Acmetropolis, Tweetums dead, Sylph eating Tweetums, Ace using more powers from the Guardian Strike Sword, a pinch of romance (hint hint AcexLexi or DuckxLexi fans), and a more climatic ending.

Allow me to count off a list...

  • Optimatus being the ultimate villain. The battle between Ace and Deuce was nice, but Deuce just doesn`t carry the evil overlord vibe that Optimatus emanates...or emanated.
  • Loonatics staying in Acmetropolis. The whole "let`s move to Blanc" thing is weak. Even weaker was the "guardians of the universe" thing. That`s just farfetched and cheesy. Of course, when I first heard the `Tics were leaving Acmetropolis, I thought it was due to some kind of incident, such as being sucked into a wormhole. Then it could have started a sort of "journey back to home" kind of trip, showing the `Tics attempting to return to Acmetropolis, and having to deal with the possibility that they may never get home.
  • Ace/Lexi hinting. Not the most necessary thing (hence why it`s on the bottom of the list), but I was hoping for at least a hint for this couple.

Well, Lexi did run to Ace when he fell over at the end, but it's not much of a shipping hint i guess. Tho' i think it does show that Lexi cares for him.

I guess alot of you weren't too big on the idea of Optimatus turning good then?

Hmm, i do have an alternative plot idea worked out for this ep. I'll probably start on it soon.

I just saw it. It would have been better if Sylth Vester became the good guy while Optimatus remained evil. He tried to kill his own sister for crying out loud! And the only excuse they could come up with was: 'He was blinded by his lust for power'? Still, he's not so sugary as a good guy.

I would have loved Crossfire's idea with them trying to find a way home. I'd hate it if they stayed on Blanc. I'll miss the tower.
And Rev and Tech seriously fighting would be awesome. *melts*

I generally don't like it when people try to rewrite episodes-- it's like they're trying to "fix" canon or saying that they know better than the writers...

That said, I hated "The Search of Tweetums" and I guess I'll look forward to a rewrite. Jeez, is that a double-standard or hypocrisy or what? I should be ashamed.

Indeed, if you change nothing else, please fix that!

Though it's already been said, the move to Blanc needs to go, as well, and the other 'tics need more action relative to Ace and Duck. I'd like to see the most extra attention directed to Rev, since he's the one most often pushed to the side, and his teaming with Tech should be played up, too. 

Anything you can do to make the storyline feel more epic would certainly be an improvement.

Yes! Thank you. Rev is pushed aside the most. Working with Tech is alright because there are some funny scenes, but Rev needs the most attention as far as I'm concerned.

Well my re-write idea features alot more action for Tech and Rev i'll say.

And i take it alot of you weren't keen on the thought of the 'tics moving to Blanc at the end either?

I guess that part doesn't really matter at the most, but on the other hand; the Loonatics do already have a headquarters and it would just take some time to getting used to it.

First: I hate the idea of a good Optimatus... (or is from nothing he became a good person or zadavia is the most stupid person in the universe)... for me he was a good villain... he look so... I don't know how to said it... I hate how he look like a good person...

To say true, the idea they will be in Blanc is good idea... because I don't think Acmetropolis is that important and the only ones who will attack it are local villains... and after some time that must be boring

Tech: sigh!!! Matermind scape again... I'm sure she come here to destroy me...

Now the Loonatics creators have more liberty and creativity to create new villains... new reasons for those villains attack the Loonatics or other creatures...

The things I change will be: Optimatus will never be a good person... nothing about the guardians of the universe thing... more Duck/Lexi pairing... more Tech and Rev fighting... less Ace spotlight (give some to rev, tech and Slam!!!!)... And about Silv... I want he remain good... but Noooo... cats always are the bad guys!!!! Grrrrr (I'm a cat lover)...

I funny... I'm a Duxi and I love the pairing Silv/Granicus too n_n (Why she wasn't in the episode???)

Is true no all are local... but only a few are from another planet... And why another creature from another planet will attack a little and contaminated planet as Acmetropolis???

If you see... it will be the same story from others cartoons... because they need a material from Acmetropolis... because there's something they are searching... but the universe is big... and the stories can be more interesing!!!

I think you make a good point Tyranee. If they make a third season for the show, now that the Loonatics are based on Blanc, it opens up a whole new page of possibilities for them in terms of the adventures they could have, the new foes and friends they could meet and the places they could go.

And I just saw the episode (is for this reason i didn't wrote nothing in this page for two weeks!!!), so I feel like something refreshing that is not always in cmetropolis... and I want to see WB imagination with the others creatures... (please... Green Lantern... like in Duck Dodgers (My fav chapter)... do you imagine see other rypes of heros???)

Strangely enough, I had an idea for an episode featuring a Witch Hazel descendant (or whatever) who was trying to steal womens` beauty (and Lexi could`ve been one of them), but that would be a rather ironic contrast to the original, don`t you think (who was actually trying to be ugly)? Then again, Tech`s inventions working and Rev actually talking are contrasts to the original, so...

She could also be slightly insane and trying to make everyone else look ugly so they`ll know the "joy" of being ugly and stop insulting her for her ugliness.

"Ugliness is a blessing to be admired, dearie, not a curse to be ridiculed. And I want to give all Acmetropolis a chance to feel the joy of that blessing. Eeeee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee!"

She could either be one of those gorgeous witches who use some spells and suduction to get what she wants, or I could agree with Crossfire on the whole ugliness idea.

 Strangely, I cam up with the same idea just a few days ago. Only, she tries to make all the men of acmetropolis fall in love with her.


As for what I'd change...well I haven't watched it yet. I can't find it on youtube, so I'm waiting for this torrent to finish. Based on what others have said, oh yeah, Optimatus needs to stay evil. And I would like them to stay in Acmetropolis for at least one more season...which means for it to make sense, if I was to write it, I would have to completely rewrite the plot of this and the last episode. Probably best not to take my suggestions.

I think the all: Season 2 Ending thing is simply outnoobish... I just wish season 3 of Loonatics Unleashed came out, Or even a Video Game for PC or whatever -_-. Personally I think in the Season 2 ending The Loonatics could meet up with a new villain, the villain is some spell guy with spells and magic, and Ace would leap at him but get paralysed by one of his spells, and later Tech at the Loonatics HQ trying to get him back on his feet, but without any progress, and Lexi trying to kiss Ace and then he gets back on his feet, that would be better, then they would find a way to stop his magic, defeat him, throw him in Acmetropolis Subterranean Jail. Sooo that was my idea.
