[Does anyone have a fanfiction.net account?  Just curious.]

[Oh, and if you do, post your fanfiction.net username...and your favorite story that you wrote.]

[I'm sharing an account with my online friend, Bartholomew.  His username is "Prince Bartholomew", and we only have one fanfic so far.  The title of the story is "Requiem", which is our favorite story.  (And the one he's most proud of.)]

I do. It's the same name as this account. And my favourite fan fic... how can you ask such a hard question!? I love them all like they're my children! I can't say I have a favourite! And even if I did, I'd have to do them on seperate posts cos most of my stories have more than one chapter in. No, I just love them all! Or the ones I can remember at least.

[Good answer. I read most of your fanfics, but I really like "The Rise of Heroes".]

[Do you have any tips on writing a good creative story like yours?  Bartholomew and I posted "Requiem" yesterday, but I feel as if we could've done...something more, y'know?]

Yus yus. Name's Animefangirl11 as well on FF.net. I used to write Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! fanfics, but I hated them all, so I got rid of em. XD;; So now all I have on there currently is a Pokemon one-shot.
I'm pretty critical bout my work, so rarely any of it actually makes it to FF.net. But I have a lot of stories on my computer. I'm hoping to write a good Loonatics story that I think is worthy of putting it on Fanfiction, but knowing me I'll never get around to it DX

[Critical about your own work?  Well...Most of the time, your fanfics are better than how you perceive them.]

[But don't think so negatively about your own work; That's my job.  I have to make fun of my own work because...well...I'm not really a good writer.  That's why I have Bartholomew to help me.]

[And I'll bet that most of your fanfics (or even all of them) are worthy of fanfiction.net...]

I do. Same name as this; Rev Runner. I post Loonatics Unleashed stories. I also have trouble writing a creative story, as well and would also like more tips.

Haha, thank you. That's what just about everyone says to me XD But I can't help it. I just like my stories to be perfect ^^;;;;

But another problem with me is though is that I'm really bad with beginnings.....and endings. I'm a very "middle" kind of writer. Yeah, I know I'm weird. So it ends up that more than half of my stories are right in the middle of the plot (cuz I usually just feel like writing a certain scene), so if I have friends read them I have to explain things for them to understand XD;; And then I never get around to coming up with a good beginning, nor an ending ^^;;

No, that's not weird at all.  Stories come from ideas, and those ideas are usually the writer's strongest conceived moments for the story itself.  It's not unusual to have things written around those plot points.  That's why I like to create scene-by-scene plot outlines for my stories that focus on nothing but all the major events without getting into detail.  It really helps, forcing you to encounter your writing blocks early and connect all your ideas together to make a cohesive piece of writing.  In my experience, it's always been a bad thing to write without a good plan ahead of time, but that's just me.

Haha, yus. Very true. I just still have problems with connecting everything together. Plus, I'm lazy DX

[Hmm...Did you agree to the guidelines more than once?  Bartholomew had to agree twice before they let him make our account able to post fanfics.]

[Animefangirl11:  Lazy?  Aren't we all?  You just need motivation.  I have a tendency to write fanfics and then never finish them.  I think it started when I was younger; I wrote a four hundred page fanfic, and I was so close to finishing it.  But guess what?  My computer crashed, and I lost ALL of my data...Including the data on the "A Drive" disk...]

[...Anyway, yeah, just try to motivate yourself.  For example, if you get a certain fanfic done, you can reward yourself with candy or something; anything to get you motivated.]

All writers are lazy in their own way =P

It's not really about forcing motivation.  It's a simple truth of either wanting to write or not wanting to.  I stopped years ago and recently picked it back up again at just the right time, I believe; meaning when I started writing again, it actually felt good, you know?

I'm also assuming you're still pretty young, so that's a factor.  Though it's good that you have an interest in writing already, seeing as that usually carries on for people who really enjoy doing it.

Myself, since I'm older (aka not-that-old-but-most-likely-older-than-everyone-here >_>), I like to go out and find inspirational locations to write: out of the way cafes, countryside areas, and I was thinking of taking a small vacation at some bed and breakfast place on my own sometime.

Writing is an art, and like most artists, only do it if you sincerely enjoy it.  So good luck!

Detail certainly helps. If you can visulise the story as an actual episode, that helps too. If not, just go with the flow and write what you think characters would say or do in certain situations. If you think it doesn't sound right, get rid of the phrase and try again. Correct spelling and grammar helps too.

But my biggest tip out of the whole lot is watch videos, read books, play on computer games to inspire you. And also some "what ifs". Like lets say; what if one of the characters is scared of small closed spaces and you trap them in a lift? How would they be feeling at that moment? Let your imagination go wild! See what plots you can come up with.

[Good tips, Akira_Cat!  Although...I think correct spelling and grammar is a given.  There are people out there who try to write stories, but never use grammar and/or spelling.  And it's fine to have a few mistakes here and there, but a bunch of mistakes can sometimes make it hard to read the story.  Script form turns me away from reading fanfics (except from here) for some reason...]

[Oh, well...Thanks for the tips!  I really appreciate it!]

*nod nod* That's true.

Young? Is 15 young? XD But I suppose you're right. I get distracted by things easily like some 6 year old ^^;;; But I do love writing. And I don't believe I'll ever stop loving it. And I'm always trying to get better. Next school year I'm taking Pre-AP English 2.

Ah, and that sounds lovely...going somewhere nice to write X3 If there was a park nearby me I'd probably go and sit under a nice shady tree and write away everyday ^__^ Perhaps once I learn to drive I can go to a cafe and write there as well.

I ish "CassidyCoyote"

My fave? well, that's hard.... it would have to be either "Mind Games," "Gotta Go My Own Way," or "Goodbye, Acmetropolis"...... There are two that I really regret starting, though.. actually, three, but one didn't make it to FF.Net.

I'm very surprised I didn't respond to this earlier. I is "flexa," and yesh. I suppose "Last Night" would be my fav, although it's a bit PG-13. And if we're doing the whole "Loonatics fan-fic" thing, I guess "Parasite" is my favorite.
