I was just messing about on Yahoo.com at the Answers bit when I stumbled across this question. Some of the answers I thought were really interesting. But I'm not going to tell you what answers they come up with cos I wanna see how you guys reply.
Left, always. It comes a lot more natural. If I wear the right sock first, I get a really weird feeling, almost as if the thing was...abnormal. It's just like reading magazines backwards. If I read them the way they're supposed to be read, it feels like something isn't right.

It's among those quirks that apparently make no sense or don't look important. But it's actually really interesting. Like getting off your bed: which leg do you move first? Mah gawd, I love this stuff...
Well some people that replied to this question on yahoo said that they put their socks on depending on which hand they write with. Personally for me, I think I mostly put on my left sock first. It just seems like the right thing to do. But then I'm right handed so I don't know.
Left usually. Mainly because when I'm putting my socks on I'm in a rush to leave and have to hop around on my right foot while I do other things. xD And then I have to stop and lean against something to put a sock on my right foot. Otherwise I fall over.
