Yep! The Raven is back! And for those who haven't read the previous Fan-fic about him, just go onto the 3rd page in this board and click on Raven.

Chapter 1

Duck tossed and turned in his bed, mumbling words within each toss and turn.

"No! I can't breathe! Help! Someone help! No! No!"

He suddenly threw himself into and upright position on his bed as he gasped for air. Once his breathing became quiet, he turned himself around to sit on the edge of the bed. He rubbed his face as his head tilted down.

"I hate having that dream again." Duck groaned.
________________________________________________________

Half past ten in the morning, and everyone did what they normally did in the morning: Rev and Slam were playing video games in from of the TV, Tech was doing some paper work and Lexi was reading another novel. Ace then came out of the training area as he rubbed the towel all over his face. He wrapped the blue towel around his neck and walked towards the kitchen. He then stopped to gaze at Duck, staring out of the window with his arms crossed. Ace changed his direction and approached Duck instead. He stopped next to Duck as he as he turned his head to face the mallard.

"Duck.?" Ace tried to his attention.

It wasn't until 5 seconds later that Duck realised someone was talking to him. Duck shook his head and turned to Ace.

"Ace?"

"Are feeling okay? You've been staring out of that window for 3 days straight. What's going on?"

Duck gazed out of the window again.

"Nothing's wrong." Duck replied. "I just want to calm myself down. That's all."

"Calm yourself down?" Ace's faced screwed up in confusion. "This isn't like you to look out of the window just to calm down. What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong!" Duck snapped as he turned to Ace again.

"There's the Duck we all know and love." Ace gave a relieved smile.

"Oh shut up Ace." Duck moaned as he marched towards his room.

He slammed the door behind him, leaving Ace dumbfounded of his behaviour.
_______________________________________________________

Once the door was locked, Duck approached his wardrobe and opened it. He pressed a red button inside the wardrobe and then stepped back. The clothes inside the wardrobe pulled away like a pair of curtains to reveal a computer with the variety of coloured buttons. The screen flicked on to reveal the purple line running across the green screen background. Duck sat on the office chair from the table.

"Hello Danger Duck." a female voice spoke from within the computer.

"Hey CAAS." Duck replied back. "Found any new information today about the location of them yet?"

"Sorry. Negative." the computer replied back.

Duck laid back on the chair and put his arms behind his head and looked up to the ceiling.

"So they're still out there." He murmured.

Is Duck really a mallard? What other type of ducks are there, anyway? I'm afraid I'm not an expert on this.

This chapter features two fan characters me and Twilightgirl made up: Lar and Nixie! aww Enjoy!

Chapter 2

Duck exited out of his room with his head hanging down gloomly. He walked slowly towards the living area and slumped onto the orange sofa. He lied on his back so he could look up to the ceiling. His view of the ceiling was then blocked by Lexi's face hung above him.

"You okay Duck?" Lexi smiled as Duck sat up on the sofa.

"Yeah I guess." He replied back as he sat at the edge of his seat.

Suddenly, the alarm blared out as everyone immediately ran into the meeting room where the hologram of Zadavia appeared at the centre of the table.

"So what's up Zadavia?" Ace asked as he sat down in his seat.

"A criminal duo who call themselves "The Cat and Bird" are trying to steal some data from the Acme Computer Tower. They some how managed to hack into the security systems to gain access into the building."

"Not again." Duck grumbled under his breath.

"What did you say Duck?" Tech asked.

"Nothing." Duck quickly replied.

"Hey. Those are the same guys who tried to break in last time." Lexi pointed out.

"Hmm... so they're obviously trying again after they ran into that other guy I can't remember..." Ace scratched his head with his hand, trying to think of the name.

"Raven! His name was Raven!" Duck shot out.

He stareds at the varied expressions of his friends as he sunk back down onto his chair.

"Thank you Duck for reminding us." Ace slowly said as he faced the others with his usual face of confidence.

"Okay Loonatics! Lets Jet!" he smiled.
_____________________________________________________________

A female yellow canary with sandy brown hair folded her bare arms across her khaki sleeveless suit while a male black and white cat in a brown trench coat typed rapidly on the keyboard. The canary gave a sigh and frowned at her partner.

"Did you really take this long to download the data onto the CD? You're taking longer than the last time we came here." she whined.

"Well if you want to kill some time, why don't you see if anybody is trying to stop us from completing our mission?" the cat turned to the canary and gave her a sly smile.

"Fine!" she huffed as she was walking towards the exit. "I was getting bored waiting for you anyway."

"Just watch out for you know who okay?"

She ignored the last comment as she walked out of the room and started to wander around the corridors.

Her dark green boots made the sound of reverb off the footsteps on the hard floor. She approached the door which was currently locked due to the reprogramming of the system thanks to her cat partner. She was only 4 metres away from the door when the doors suddenly blew of it's hinges due to an explosion from the other side of the doors. The canary sheilded her eyes with her arms as dust and small pieces from the door frame flew past her. Once the cloud of dust cleared, she lowered her arms and opened her eyes to see six figures standing before her. She panicked and turned around and started to run back to where she came out from. The six figures persued her as she approached the room that the cat was just taking the disc out of the disk drive from the base unit.

"Lar! We have company!" the canary warned him.

"Right!" Lar nodded his head. "I've got the data anyway! Lets go Nixie!"

"Hold it right there! You're not going anywhere with that disc!"

Both cat and bird turned around to see Ace and the others at the door way. Lar grabbed his sword from the sword container from his back and swung the 3 metre blade into position in front of him.

"Lets get this over quickly so we can take our leave." Lar sneered at the Loonatics.

Ace whipped out his Guardian Strike Sword and held it in front of him.

"My pleasure." Ace shot back as both swordsmen clashed swords together.

As the swords clashed, Lexi suddenly had to duck down from a high kick that belonged to Nixie.

"Come on rabbit! Show me what you got!" Nixie growled as she swept her leg low across the floor which Lexi jumped over it.

"Bring it on then!" Lexi snapped as she landed her knees on top of Nixie's shoulders. She then tried to flip the canary over forward onto the floor but Nixie rearranged herself so when both of them landed on the floor, Nixie had got Lexi in a crab hold. Lexi struggled to break free from the hold.

"If there's one thing I've learned from experience rabbit, it's this; never plan anything unless you know you can get out of trouble." Nixie sneered at her.

"Let go of her now!" Duck shouted as he grabbed Nixie by the arm that wasn't holding Lexi's leg in the air and flipped her over backwards.

Nixie gave a cry in pain as she landed on the front of her chest.

Ace and Lar continued to clash their swords together in spectacular shapes in the air. They soon landed on the ground and tried to pushed each other with their blades.

"You know? You're pretty good for a beginner." Lar panted.

"And you're one of the more worthier opponents I ever fought." Ace panted back as they threw their swords back and clashed again.

"I think you forgot one of the rules in fighting." Lar puffed. "Stay focused, and watch out for suprises!"

At that moment, Lar gave a strong kick to Ace's stomach that sent him flying across the room. Ace smacked against the wall and groaned at the pain. Lar turned to Nixie who just managed to stand.

"Lets go!" he ordered as they ran through the door. Rev tried chasing them. But Lar gave a kick to his face that sent him back into the room.

Everyone glanced in shock at the door way as they got up.

"Who were they?" Lexi gave a puzzled look to her team mates.

"Well whoever they are, they sure kick you where it hurts." Ace rubbed at the back of his head.

"And now they got the data." Tech looked at the screen to find the download was completed.

"I knew we were no match to them." Duck murmured quietly.

"What do you mean "we were no match to them" Duck? Do you know them?" Rev gave an expression of curiosity.

"No!" Duck snapped. "I just guessed from the way they were that they were going to be hard to beat."

Ace gave a suspicious hum.

"Lets get back to HQ and try and figure out what they want with this data." Ace aid as the others nodded in agreement.

Duck however was going through some thoughts of questions and concern of his own.

Chapter 3

Duck lied on his bed staring up at the ceiling. Flashbacks and thoughts of the recent mission played through his head like a video. He still remembered the faces of the cat and bird. Lar and Nixie. There were so many questions that he was trying to figure out in his head. What is it about the data that could be so important to them? Why did they want the data? What sort of data is on the disc? Disc?

Duck jumped off the bed and opened up his wardrobe and revealed the huge computer once more. He searched through the drawers at the side of his bed and found the disc that he rescued on a mission the night he and the cat and bird first met. He took the disk over to the base unit and opened the disc drive. He carefully placed the disc on the CD drive and closed it up again. The computer loaded the data up in seconds, giving him graphs and written information and percentages and numbers across the screen. Duck scanned the data being shown on the screen with his eyes until he heard the alarm go off again. He took the disc out and turned off the computer and sealed it back into the wardrobe like normal before running out of the room.
________________________________________________________

Everyone (including Duck) was in the meeting room once more to accept another mission from the holographic Zadavia.

"What's up this time Zadavia?" Ace said.

"The cat and bird you fought has gone into this building here." Zadavia reported as she showed them a holographic image of an abandoned warehouse with broken windows which looked worn down.

"Why would they want to go to a dump like this?" Duck commented with his arms folded across his chest.

"It could be a possible meeting place for someone else who wants the data but couldn't get it themselves." Tech suggested.

"That could be a possibility." Zadavia agreed. "But we must get the stolen data off them in order for the plans to be foiled. Who knows what someone could do with the data."

"We'll get right to it." Ace said with a cheeky grin.
_____________________________________________________

Inside the desolate warehouse, the Loonatics wandered the corridors of the musty old place with foot steps echoing down the corridors.

"I wonder if we've been heard from yet." Duck muttered. "By now someone should have heard us."

"And I guess somebody must have already heard your voice by now Duck." Lexi smiled back.

"Very funny." Duck frowned as they approached a T-junction. Ace faced the group.

"Okay. Rev, Slam and Lexi. You take the left route." Ace pointed at the three being mentioned. "Me, Duck and Tech will take the right route. Lets see what we can find."

"This!"

The owner of the anonymous voice jumped down from the dark ceiling along with another figure and landed on their feet.

"You again!" Ace frowned at the canary and cat standing before them.

The cat took out his sword again.

"You got that right." the cat smirked. "Last time, we had to finish the job off. But now we can settle the score with nothing to stop us."

"Plus, we're just holding you off just for the extra cash, which isn't a bad thing either." the canary added.

"Cash?" Tech frowned. "Then it's someone else who is using the data to unleashed their diabolical plan!"

"Bingo." the cat smirked again. "But seeing as we were told to do this by someone else, I'm afraid our policy is first come first served."

"Which means we have no choice but to get rid of you!" the canary pointed an accusing finger at then and then charged at the group.

Ace blocked a punch from her and pushed her across the corridor. She landed on her feet and charged again. This time she faced off with Slam. The Tasmanian Devil sent a flying punch which she dodged and tried to find a weak spot on him. Tech decided to assist Slam by trying to catch her out by suprise by hitting her when she was distracted fighting him. But the canary noticed his stragety and coped with the multiple attacks attacking her from random angles.

As this was happening, Ace turned to Rev and Lexi.

"You two! Go find the main guy with the data! We'll handle these guys!" Ace ordered.

Rev and Lexi nodded their heads together as they ran up the corridor to the left.

Ace then looked around for the cat until he spun around to look behind him. The cat tried to use a chopping motion to catch Ace out. But Ace unearthed his sword and the swords clashed one again.

"You really do have some skill in you Ace Bunny!" the cat said as the swords repelled apart.

"How do you know my name?!" Ace inquired as the swords clashed again.

"Think about it Ace. You and me fight a like." The cat started. "We both had fastest reflexes, and we one of the first ones in our group to get a black belt in our age group. Don't you remember who your sparring partner was?"

Ace's eyes opened wider to remember the memory which he had forgot.

"Lar!?" He said as the swords repelled again. "My old sparring partner!?"

"Now you're starting to remember." Lar chuckled. "You and me were one of the best ones there at that dojo. It was always you and me who got to fight each other in the finals every year. But then I moved with my family. Somethings started to happen. And now I'm a theif for hire!"

The swords hit against each other as the swordsmen tried to push each other against the opponent's blade.

"So you turned to crime?" Ace asked.

"Yep. I decided to work with computers too." Lar panted. "Seeming as most people try to use the technology effectively but don't know how do it, it's a survival tactic."

As the swords continue to clash, Duc just stood there watching the other Loonatics fight the two theives they were up against.

"They'll never beat them like this." Duck thought in panic. "There's only one thing that I can do."

Duck quickly quacked out of the corridor without anyone else noticing his departure as they were too distracted in fighting.

Chapter 4

Ace and Lar displayed proffessional swordsmanship skills as they continued to clash swords together until Lar saw his chance when he saw Ace's guard drop and kicked him in the stomach while he grabbed the handle on the Guardian Strike Sword. The sword slipped from Ace's hand as he was thrown against the wall. He smacked against the wall and groaned. He looked up to see Lar holding the swords in each hand. Lar then pointed his weapon at Ace's chin. The blade was only a centimetre away from touching it. Lar gave an evil smile as he looked down onto the rabbit.

"Pathetic." he sneered. "The great Ace Bunny, winner of the great kung fu tournement of Acmetropolis for a total of seven times, knocked down by his rival, who only won the tournement six times."

"It's not about how many times you win, but because of the fact that you never give up until you can't do any more." Ace gasped as he tried to push himself up to stand up. But his arms just gave way as he slumped back down again.

"And it looks like you can't do anything anymore." Lar raised his sword above his head. He was about to throw it down to finish Ace off as the rabbit turned his head away and flinched and closed his eyes.

"Hey."

Lar turned around to see a foot hit his face as he flew across the air and landed on the ground unconscious. Everyone else froze from fighting to see a black mallard in a sleeveless black leather shirt, with black leather trousers, and also wearing black boots with a black leather belt around his waist. His eyes were concealed behind black sunglasses. Nixie immediately clenched her fists and gritted her teeth and then pointed her finger at him with her arm stretched out.

"You!" she screeched as the duck turned around to face her. "You're gonna pay for doing that to Lar!"

Nixie charged at the duck as he blocked a few of her punches and then he knocked her across the room with a powerful punch. She landed next to Lar as she fell unconscious as well. Ace finally stood up as he looked at the mallard with eyes wide open.

"Duck?" Ace said in a puzzled tone.

The duck turned his head to Ace's face.

"If I were you, I'd rest your head." the duck advised. "You've been hit on the head hard. That's made you delirious."

He turned to face the corridor to the right. He quickly ran down the corridor. Ace tried to follow him.

"Hey! Wait!" Ace shouted as he ran after mallard.

As Ace turned the corner, Raven had completely disappeared. Ace looked around to try and find him. But it proved fruitless. Ace stood there in confusion as Tech and Slam caught up to him.

"Who was that guy you were chasing?" Tech panted as he tried to get his breath back.

"He says his name is Raven." Ace said, still focused on the corridor in front of him. "But I swear that he's Duck."

Slam and Tech looked around.

"Where is Duck anyway?" Tech looked around.

"He might have caught up to Lexi and Rev. Either that, or he's doing some exploring of his own." Ace said. "And while we're here on this side, lets see what we can find while the cat and bird are still unconscious."

Tech and Slam nodded their heads in agreement as they continued down the corridor.

Chapter 5

Raven continued to run down the corridor. His arms were pumping  as his breathing began to get heavier. He then stopped at a room which had a faint blue light glowing within.

He slowly strode into the room and looked around. There were a variety conical flasks and beakers filled with anonymous solutions spread across the tables. As well as bunsen burners, measuring cylinders and other apparatus spread amongst the beakers and flasks, there were pieces of paper with writing and diagrams printed on them. Raven picked up one of the pieces of paper and took a quick glance. He then turned to where the blue glow was coming from. There he saw two figures each submerged in their own giant tubes filled with the glowing blue liquid. Raven took a closer inspection as he stepped closer towards the tubes. He got close enough to see the faces staring back at him with their closed eyes. He suddenly gasped and slowly took some steps back away from the tubes.

"Th- That's where they've been..." he stuttered.

"So you've been looking for them then?"

Raven spun around to find a bald man with ruby coloured sunglasses to cover his eyes wearing a lab coat. Raven gritted his teeth as the man gave a cruel smile at the duck.

"Genocell was the key to bringing them back to life." The man started. "When you try and introduce some dead tissue or DNA to the solution I've developed, the solution supresses the dead tissue, making it impossible to create life. But when you introduce genocell, the DNA from the dead material becomes as powerful as this solution, creating something similar to a baby in a womb. But using a catalyst speeds up the growth of a living thing from 5 years to only 9 months."

The man approached Raven.

"Remarkable isn't it?" he boasted. "The main problem was to find some DNA. Alive or Dead. It was a good thing I used to work at the mortury. Otherwise, how else was I going to recreate your dead parents."

Raven squeezed his fists.

"Why did you use my parent's and not anyone else!?" he snapped. "You could have used any other dead person in there!?"

The man chuckled.

"Because I wanted to see whether it was possible to recreate anthros as well as human beings. Human beings have been done before. I wanted to try something different. But then the first time I tried something different, everyone disagreed with me and banned me from the biological research group. So I decided to try this by myself, with nobody telling me I can't do this. But you see, I can."

"So you must be that Dr Abel from the disk then?" Raven shot out.

"Indeed." the scientist nodded his head. "And your next question you're going to ask me is why I decided to do this."

Abel approached the tubes and stroked the tube on the right with his hand.

"At first I didn't know because I didn't know about genocell."

"And you got the cat and bird to do the research for you?"

"As I said, I didn't know at first. But then I realised I had a goal which then became this project's whole purpose. It was to get revenge. I want to create more clones to wipe out the ones who banished me and to start over again, with them obeying me this time."

The scientist turned to the duck.

"I may try world domination. You'll never know. These are just test runs I did and it was a success. Now all I need to do now is make them come to life, and they shall do everything I say."

"Not if I can help it!" Raven growled and somersaulted backwards and ran towards the computer.

He typed frantically on the keyboard until the screen opened up saying whether the user wanted the data to be deleted.

"What are you doing!? Stop!" Abel barked as he pulled the gun and aimed it at Raven before he pressed the button.

Raven stopped.

"Do you want the chance of your special renunion with your parents to waste away?" Abel asked.

Raven gave a sigh.

"You could be reunited with your family. You could find the happiness you once had before they died." The scientist persuaded. "Think about it. You could start again. Together."

Raven looked down onto the keyboard and thought hesitantly. He then turned to face Abel.

"So you're saying that you will make my parents live again, and that we could be together, and they would only obey you?" Raven said. "I don't think so."

He pressed the button and the screens lit up red saying that the data had been deleted. Abel gritted his teeth and took aim at his gun.

"You stupid idiot!" he bellowed as he fired a few shots at Raven.

Raven somersaulted over the man so he fired some accidental shots at the computer, causing it to emit smoke as electrical sparks started to fly off the machine.

Raven ran out of the room where he ran past Rev and Lexi and grabbed their arms by suprise. Lexi turned to the duck.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Lexi screamed.

"The machine's gonna blow! If you want to die, go in there!" Raven shouted as he kept hold of Rev and Lexi's arms.

It wasn't long before Raven ran up to Ace, Slam and Tech. Before they could ask anything, Raven commanded the rest to run the other way. They immediately obeyed. They sprinted up the corridor towards the exit.

They managed to run outside a few metres before the warehouse exploded. Everyone dived onto the ground and covered their heads to sheild themselves from the bang, and the dust and gravel that fell on top of them. When all was quiet, they slowly lifted their heads up and looked around. They stood up to see the warehouse burning in the fire. Lexi then looked around and looked up the Ace.

"Hey you guys. Where's Duck?"

The rest of the guys looked around.

"You don't think he was still in there? Do you?" Rev asked in a worried tone.

They all glanced at each other.

"Well can you pick him up Rev?" Ace asked.

Rev put his fingers on his temples on his head and concentrated. He then looked up to the rest of the Loonatics.

"He's over there." he pointed as he sprinted at the direction to where he sensed Duck.

All the others followed him until they finally saw Rev stop at an unconscious Duck in his orange and black uniform covered in with some gravel stones and dust. Lexi used her super hearing to hear if Duck still had a heart beat.

"He's okay." Lexi reassured.

"Just unconscious then." Tech said.

"Lets take him back to HQ." Ace  suggested as Slam carried the mallard on his shoulders as they flew back towards the HQ.

Erm.... but couldn't Rev detect that Duck was Raven the entire time with his GPS?

Rev's GPS doesn't detect that someone is by another name. So if Rev was asked to track Raven down, either he'd be in a confused state cos he can't find him cos Raven is not Duck's real name or that he can find him, but it neccesarily won't point out that Raven is actually Duck.

No, no, I meant that whenever Raven passed by (like when he ran by Rev and Lexi when the lab exploded), didn't Rev's GPS sensors ever pick up the presence of Duck in Raven's place?

Lumoslight - I don't really know. I guess at the time he was with Raven/Duck, he was too busy trying to keep up with him. But you have given me and idea.

Anyways, here is the last chapter! Chapter 6!

Chapter 6

Duck lay motionless on the bed in the med-room. His right arm was bandaged up and put in a sling. Duck's eyes danced open as he slowly sat up. He winced at the pain from his bandaged up arm.

"Now that hurt." he groaned as he jumped off the bed and exited from the med-room.

He approached his room and opened the door wearily. He stepped in his room when he stopped to see someone else in there looking through the drawers.

"Rev! What do you think you're doing!?" Duck inquired.

The road runner spun around to reveal the suprise on his face.

"What do you think you're doing going through my stuff, without my permission even?" Duck barked.

"Umm... I thought I lost something and I thought it would be in your room. Well, since you keep borrowing other people's stuff and all." Rev stammered.

"While I was unconscious?" Duck folded his arms across his chest.

"I thought you'd say no if I asked you so I took the risk." the road runner decided to take his leave. "Well looks like it isn't in here. I'll be off."

"Rev. I know you're lying." Duck frowned. "You haven't lost anything. What's the real reason for being here?"

Rev stopped and closed the door and turned to Duck.

"Okay. I lied." Rev twiddled his fingers. " I haven't lost anything."

"So what is it?"

Rev looked down and then glanced up to Duck.

"Where were you on that mission?" He asked.

"I was trying to find out who was the real culprit behind what was going on." Duck lied.

"And did you find them?"

Duck stared down onto the floor and then looked back up to the road runner.

"You did didn't you?" Rev said.

"I-..." Duck just stopped before he could even explain.

"I know you did. And why?" Rev sounded as though he managed to solve the mystery. "Because you were the guy in black!"

Duck jumped back in shock and shook his head in disbelief.

"No I'm not!" he denied.

"Yes you are!" Rev argued back.

"Well even if I am, how can you be sure that I am who you say I am!?" Duck shot back.

"Because when you were dragging me and Lexi towards the exit, I wondered where you went. So I used my GPS to find you. And strangely enough, it sensed that you were right next to us."

"But that's impossible!" Duck snapped. "I was somewhere else!"

"That's what I first thought." Rev continued. "I tried my GPS again incase it was playing up and messing about, but it was only three times more that I realised that you are the guy in black."

"But I can't be!" Duck denied again.

"Fine." Rev sighed. "I'll just tell the others what I told you."

Just as he was about to walk away, Duck grabbed the road runner's arm.

"No! Wait!" Duck panted and then looked up to Rev. "Okay. I lied too. I am the guy in black. I am Raven."

Rev turned to him.

"So were you the one who managed to find the real culprit?" Rev asked.

"Yes." Duck answered. "The real culprit was Dr Abel. He was trying to clone people who died so he could use their DNA to recreate them so he could create his own army."

"That's... that's just sick." Rev commented.

"Oh it's sickening all right." the mallard nodded his head in agreement. "And what's worse is that he tried to use dead tissue from recently decesed anthros. Then he mixes that with a solution he's made so when it's been combined, the anthros that died would have been alive, but they wouldn't have the freewill to think for themselves."

"So they would have done what Abel said for them to do." Rev's eyes widened.

"Exactly."

"But where did you learn some of those ninja martial art skills from?" Rev demanded. "You never did them in any of the missions with us."

"I try to keep a low profile of my alter-ego so the others wouldn't think that it was me should I get spotted in cameras or in front of them." Duck explained. "So in order for me to keep my skills up to scratch, I practice whenever I can without you or the others being in the training room at the same time as me."

"So how do you know what crimes are going on?"

"I have CAAS to tell me."

Rev blinked in confusion.

"Who's CAAS?" he asked.

"You're not gonna believe this." Duck jumped off his bed and appraoched his wardrobe. He opened the doors and pressed the button which revealed the huge computer.

"Hello Danger Duck." the computerised voice greeted.

Rev's jaw dropped.

"Wow!" Rev's eyes opened wide. "How did you fit the computer in your wardrobe? Did Tech help you?"

"If Tech knew about what I'm doing then that would have given the whole game away." Duck said.

Rev still fixed his eyes on the computer inside the wardrobe.

"You did this all by yourself?" Rev asked.

"Rev. If there's one rule I've learnt about life, it's that things aren't fair in life. No matter how good you think it is. While we have this fancy HQ with advanced technology and everything we need, there are still people in the world who still can't get access to a drop of water." Duck turned to his computer. "When I became an orphan, I had to survive on my own even with other people surrounding me. I had to keep sane in order for me not to dwell on the terrible event and go mad."

Duck then turned to Rev.

"So I had to do what I can in order for me to be able to defend myself should I be alone. All alone."

Rev's worried expression was written across his face.

"But promise me one thing Rev. Promise me you won't tell anyone, not even the others about what I do behind closed doors." Duck looked at him sincerly.

Rev hesitated with his worried expression but eventually he nodded his head in agreement.

"Only for one thing." the road runner spoke.

"What?" Duck said bracing himself for what was going to gush from the road runner's mouth.

"That if you need any help at all, any help in anyway, ask me to come along."

"Woah! Hold on Rev! It's not that simple!" Duck frowned. "First, you got to be able to find yourself another identity. One that is completely the opposite to you. Are you sure you can gain a personality that is nothing like the one you always wear?"

"Well maybe I won't be able to change my personality." Rev started as a tear started to roll down his cheeks. "But what you told me makes me feel like you need someone Duck. You must feel at least alone when you're on your own missions, with no-one else by your side. What you said to me makes me want to go with you. So should you feel upset or scared or sad on missions, who was there that you could turn to? I mean, how did you feel having to find out what that mad scientist was going to do with all the anthros? Did you feel anything?"

Duck looked down as an image from his dream flashed in his mind. And his parents inside those glass tubes, not knowing once they come out from there, they would be slaves to the man. He finally looked back up to Rev who by now had more than the tears on his cheeks he started with when he gave his speech. Duck went towards the computer and pressed the button to put the computer back into the wardrobe as though it was never there in the first place.

"I make sure I think about what's going on in the present. Not dwindle into the past." he said as he walked towards the door. "But I may accept your offer, if you don't tell anyone of what we discussed."

Rev nodded his head enthusiastically.

"You bet Duck!" he said in his normal hyperactive tone as he strode out of the room.

Duck just hung on the door as Rev ran towards the rest of the Loonatics with a smile on his face. Duck gave a smile too as he watched his friends smile and laugh about whatever they were talking about.

"Maybe Rev's right. Maybe I do need someone with me." he thought.

Duck closed the door behind him as he approached the group in the living room laughing and joking in their conversation.

THE END.
