Well in Scotland, there is the Loch Ness monster. But no-one knows whether old Nessie exists or not.

And closer to home, in Suffolk, there was a huge black dog called Black Shuck.

Oh! And in france there is also a wolf called Barquest. It hangs around graveyards and seeing it means certain death.

There's also big foot, Robin Hood and King Arthur. They're myths.

We have veelas.... Beautiful tall immortal women who have long undone hair (back in those times, a woman had her hair tied up). They help heroes - especially those who fought against the Turks.

Are you talking about Transylvania. It means 'through the forest' or 'behind the forest' in Latin.

And that was pretty much the only place in Romania I had considered visiting.

Hears some thing meany people don't know about him. The way he came to be. You see at one pount in time there realy was a man named Count Dracula! He had several diseses that helped  mack him into a myth. the first one was some kida diabetes macking his teeth sharp and giving him fangs, the second desese was he was elergic to sun light so he only came out at night, the final one was one (which dous exist) where you have to drink blood to ....well..I can't remember why.

So Count Dracula did exist jest he didn't tern into a bat or suck the blood from others necks.

A nether myth is Atlantis. I belife it exist at the botom of the sea in Greec.

For Greek Mythological Creatures, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Greek_mythological_creatures

For Mythological Creatures Worldwide (including pseudo/"joke" myths) see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_legendary_creatures

I think that covers it, for creatures anyway.

Umm, I know about the Mothman of Point Pleasant(one of my personal favorite cryptids), West Virginia. The reported sightings of Thylacines (Tasmanian Tiger) that have come up in the past years even though the last of them supposedly died over half a century ago. There's also the Lock Ness Monster, Bigfoot, the aliens that are supposedly kept in Area 51, El Cupacabra, Champ of Lake Champlain, the Jersey Devil, Thunderbirds, the Bell Witch, and others.

Yeah...when I was 11 I wanted to become a Cryptozoologist. ^^' I kinda still do.
