[The_Oddity probably meant "RP'ing" because Roleplaying doesn't have to be a game. It can be an adventure, could end up as a fanfic, or...something...?]

[Here's what happened a few years ago on the Megaman Message Boards that we used to go to...]
[The first one was nice; we met there and we became friends for a while...but then someone started spamming, deleting their account, spamming, then deleting their account again, making the whole message board into nothing but spam. Sadly, the Admin had to delete the board.]
[The second one was created by the same Admin, but he/she (I can't remember) emailed the most trustworthy members before deleting the first board. The second one was fine for a while, but after the Admin gave a few members "Mod Powers", one of them started abusing their power and banned the members that they hated, leaving only a small number of members left. Sadly, the Admin had to delete the board and emailed all of the normal members, banned ones included, that he/she was going to make another one.]
[The third one was created by the same Admin, but he/she was really upset. The third message board only lasted for about a month. Someone started sending PMs to every member with messages saying that they sucked, basically insults. The problem was that this person kept sending PMs, deleting their account, and kept repeating the process. The Admin, who was upset at the time, gave up, sending everyone emails that he/she couldn't put up with the problems anymore. He/she finally sent everyone a "goodbye" email, and deleted the board. We lost contact with him/her, and we never heard from him/her again.]
[One of the older members, who was from the very first board for a long time, emailed the ones that he/she (I think it was a she) could remember. He/she told us that a new Megaman Message Board was made, and most of us rejoined. We tried to get a few more members, and the message board was nice for a while. One day, though, someone started an argument. Eventually, more and more members defended or attacked each other verbally, actually making a lot of members quit. The old member who had emailed us was the one who created the board, and he/she was very disappointed at the ones who fought. There were only 16 of us who didn't get involved, so the old member emailed us, saying that he/she was sorry about the whole thing. He/she sent us an "I'll miss you" email, deleted the board, and we lost contact with him/her. We never heard from him/her again. That was the death of the fourth board.]
[The fifth board...One of the 16 of us made it, and only 10 of us rejoined. Only 7 of us were from the very first board. It got off to a good start, but then...Everyone just...stopped coming. Nobody was around, so the one who had made the board emailed the original remaining members. I still have a file of the email that I saved before losing contact with everyone.]

I never thought it would come to this. I knew a day like this would come, but I hadn't expected it to arrive so suddenly. I know that message boards come and go, but I never thought the ones we went through would crumble the ways they had. I thought the old, original message board would last longer than it had...What was the name of the Admin who brought us all together? It seems like such a long time ago... The Admin...We lost contact with them, didn't we? All of us, I mean. None of us can remember their name, their username, their offline name. None of us can, can we? Haha...We had good times with all of the other members from the first message board, didn't we? We shared laughs, talked about our lives, discussed our futures and whatnot... ...We were friends, weren't we? Some of us were really close. We could have been considered family, in a sense. ...The senior member that took over to try to bring us back together...They tried really hard, didn't they? But many friendships ended that day. It was all from that small argument...and it all could have been avoided... But nothing lasts forever, no? It was a good run while it lasted, and I'm sad to see it end. ...We all owe it to the original Admin for bringing us together. If not for them, we would never have met, become friends, or shared moments together. I'm grateful for that. I'm going to miss you. All of you. May we meet again one day. Take care. x Elecman x
