Ace recognized the 6 from a previous meat. The two that where in front where both gray rabbits, a elderly one and one close to Aces age. They where Lexis father and older brother, Russ and Max. The set behind them where also rabbits. Lexis younger brothers, dark brown 17 Joe and light gray 15 Jay-jay. The final ones where her youngest brothers, twins at 14. One was a light brown with black hair rabbit by the name of Alex and the other also gray with the name Ryan.

The six boys carefully lowered the coffin of there sibling or child as a man with a bible started to preach about the loss. The six walked back into the crowd of friends, co workers and loved ones. They took there place next to a tan, dark blond, elderly female rabbit. Lexis mother, Linda, held the small dark tan, black haired, 12 year old Vivian. Lexis sister.

Chapter 12

It was a worm fall day. The trees released there golden leaves, and a small breeze comforted the air.  Ace sat at the base of a tree. He wasn't in his uniform but a black suite. Similar to the ones worn at a funeral, but thin again he was at one.

Ace looked up and a little in the distends he could see many others dressed in similar black outfits gathered round a, so far, empty grave. Ace got to his feet when 6 mail anthro came caring a light brown coffin with golden bars lining its out side.

At that moment Tech stood up to give a speech, he cleared his thought, “I'm Tech Coyote. I was one of Lexis friends, co worker, and room mates... Lexi was a very kind and happy person. As we say good by to her today I believe we are at a great lose, for Lexi was the type who would bring joy to the world in any way she could. Maybe this was one of the reasons she had been a hero. But with such a career comes dangers as we all know. So with sad hearts we relies Lexi from are world.” Tech took Lexis old uniform from Zadavia who had been holding it. Tech then walked up to her family. “Mr, Mrs,  and Children of the Bunny family I give you the uniform of Lexi Bunny."

Mrs. Bunny took the uniform hands sadly as tears creped from her eyes. She looked for comfort from her husband. As she did Vivian took the uniform in her hands and sat on the ground crying for the loss of her only sister. After last words where said and the ceremony of death was finished, the crowd started to thin. The only ones left, besides Ace, where Duck, Tech, a few of Lexis extended family members, and 2 of her brothers.

Ace still stood at the base of that tree as he watched Tech walk in his direction.

“Hay Ace. How ya holdin' up?” Tech asked.

“In all truth...I don't know.” Ace sat back down. Tech did the same.

“Things are going to be very different now...aint they?” Tech asked.

“Ya...probably....Tech can I tell you something?”

“Sure chef.”

“I loved her.”

“What?”

“I loved Lexi more thin I should have. With all my heart I did...how I wish I could of told her...told her that she made me want to take on the world. How her smile could pull be out of any depretion. How the way she acted wormed me inside...But now...Its to late.” Aces ears drooped down in sorrow.

“...I'm sorry Ace.” Tech thin got up and returned to the others still there. Ace didn't mind, he wanted to be by himself right now any ways. That thought was demolished when Lexis older brother came over and sat next to Ace.

“Your Ace. Right?”

“Ya. You're max. Right.” Ace kept his head low.

“Yup...So why weren't you up There with the rest of 'em.”

“I don't know...I jest couldn't I guess.”

“I see...You we're where close with my li'l sis. Weren't cha?”

“What would make you t'ink that?”

“Maybe how much she used to tal' about ya.”

“What?” Ace looked up at the other rabbit.

“Ya. She used to call us all the time, and you where often the subject... So I  j'st thought you where close... She spoke of you as if you where family.....Man are we all going to miss her. She died to young”

“I should of killed that Teri when I had the chance! Not jest knock him out!” Ace said bitterly.

“Whoa there. Lexi wouldn't want you talkin' like that!..You did the right thing Ace.”

“But it's what he deserves. I mean he killed your sister!” Ace growled.

“Listen unlike Teri, you are no murderer! I think thats what my sis liked about ya.”

There was a pause.

“Hear,” Max held out a green box, “I think my li'l sis would wont you to have this.”

Ace took the box as Max walked away. Ace lifted off the lid and pulled out the contents of the box. He was shocked to see Lexis green ribbon. One of the one things she would where any where, with any thing, and at any time. Ace all ways thought resembled her in some funny way.

Ace held the cloth in both hands and close to his morning heart as he thought about every thing that had been said...

Chapter 13

Ace leaned back against the side of his bed as he sat there on his bed room floor. Ace quickly wiped away a tear that was released from his left eye. With a heave sigh Ace rolled the ribbon with in his hand back up and gently pleased it back in the box he had pulled it out of. He set the box underneath his bed and stood up.

Ace adventured slowly back out to the living room. The tugs of tiredness where getting to Ace. He let his tired body plop down into the couch. Rev and Slam still sat in the kitchen and the others where still out of sight. Though his body wished him not to Ace stood back up and clicked on his communicator.

“All Loonatics to the living room.” Ace said in a melancholy tone.

The others 4 assembled onto the couch. Ace stared at the 4 depressed Anthros before speaking.

“Earlier Zadavia told me that we shall be pout back into active duty in one week. I thought you'd all like to know...Best be starting to train up again.” When Ace finished the ringing of the door bell was sound.

The Loonatics all gave confused looks in the direction of the door. No one came to visit them besides Zadavia, and she had all ready payed her visit. Ace walked to the door and opened it to revel a very little woman.

She had long wight hair in a pony tail going down her back. Her skin was a Indian tan. She wore a very old styled triable dress equipped with moccasins.  She cam up to about Aces mid section in highth.

Confused Ace asked, “Can I help you?”

“Yes, I'm looking for the group known as the Loonatics.” Her voice was soft and coted with age.

“We're them.” Ace replied.

“Oh splendid!” The old woman had no troubles welcoming her self in.

“Hay um-” Ace tried to speck was cut off by the little old lady.

“My name is Kida Pachu, and I'm a person how can help toughs of the living communicate with thoughs who have passed away. See thats why I'm hear.”

“But Ma'am, not to be rood but we did not send for you.” Tech replied.

“Oh I know. But I don't usually mack house calls.”

“Then why are you hear?” Ace asked.

“Some one from the dead is trying to communicate with all of you!”

The 5 all looked at each other confused.

“Whose trying to communicate with us?” Duck asked this time.

“This some one is a woman, She asks that I help all of you keep a promise you made to her as she died.”

“Lexi?” The 5 boys all said at the same moment.

“Oh yes! That was her name! Lexi Bunny!”

Chapter 15

Lexi sat on the tree branch, her back to the guys; her legs dangling of the side. She was so close Ace had to back up a little in order to not be kicked. They looked up at her, still a little disbelieving in what was happening to be real.

Lexi giggled again; again her voice was carried in the breeze, “Hi guys.”

The guys where motionless.

“Come on...It's rude not to answer.” She looked down at them.

“L-Lexi? W-why are we hear.” Ace asked to her.

She terned her gaze up to the sky, “You brook your promise.”

“What?”

Lexi sighed before lining back and placing herself upside down. She leaned out at Ace, her breath against his skin, a feeling that made his heart race, as she repeated, “You guys brook your promise.”

She grabbed the branch and flipped herself onto the ground in front of them. The guys could fell small tears building up.

“Lexi...I'm afraid we're all a little confused hear.” Tech said.

With a nether sigh Lexi smiled at them, “Thin maybe this will refresh your memory.” She walked up to Rev and set her hand on his shoulder, Rev blinked a few times at the feeling, “Rev. You talk so slowly. Why?” Rev didn't answer he simply looked down, “What happened to the over hyper active bird I used to know?”

She then walked over to Tech, she pleased her had gently on his arm, “Tech, you're inventing tools are gaining dust and rust.” Tech looked at her with sad eyes as she continue, “Wheres that big egg head I used to hang out with? Hum?”

Lexi walked up to Duck. His gaze was firmly on the ground. She pleased her hand under his chin and made him look at her, his eyes had blue puddles in there corners, “Duck you may have been really annoying at times, but you where are one great friend. I'm sorry but I prefer the sarcastic, slightly annoying, and a tad self centered Duck then the one I see now.”

“Slam,”  She pated his back slightly, “you hardly eat any more. You eat less then what any normal person eats, and you're loosing your strength.”

Lexi finally walked up to Ace, pleased her hands at the base of his neck, and spook softly, “This team needs a leader. With out you, Ace, the Loonatics wont survive.” Ace allowed the tears to be released from his eyes. Lexi then pleased her hands upon his cheeks. To Ace they where so soft and gentle. “Ace you have to pull your self out of this pit of despair! You are the leader!..Act like it.”

Ace took her hands in his own and held them close to his heart, “But Lexi...is there? I mean...can you ever?”

“I'm afraid not Ace.” Lexi backed away from all of them, “You guys made a promise not to change, because I didn't want you guys to become this, and yet. Look at your selves...So I ask you again. Promise me you'll be your selfs again.”

“We promise.” The guys said in unison.

“Lexi how are we suppose to get used to not having you around?” Duck asked.

“Guys I'll always be around. Jest because you can't see me doesn't mean I'm not there. You guys can always talk to me, and I'll try to answerer any way I can...I wont always be able to, but I'll try.” Lexi simply replied.

The breeze around them terned into a strong wind. Lexi looked up at the sky as if she could see something the other couldn't.

“I must go now.” Lexi said. The guys gave her a group hug before she backed away from them and seemed to disappear with the wind.

In a blink of an eye he guys found them self once again in the training room.

Sorta. it wasn't jest about depretion. It was to keep them doing what they love to do.

for exaple to get Tech back to enventing thing and for Slam to get his apitie back.

I'll try to clear things up with the next chappter.

This is a very good chapter. Apart from the odd spelling mistake, I'm hoping there's a chapter to wrap the whole story up in nicely coloured wrapping paper.

That last chap was both sad and happy! I loved it!!!!!!! *hugs* That was a great story!!!!

Awww... I'm glad the guys are back to normal. This was a great ending for your story, Siamese.

Me: *GASPS* Oooh Oooh!! Lexi counld be there guardian angel now! You know, like watching over them during battles, making sure none of them gets too badly hurt, stuff like that! Ow!! *rubs arm; glares at Ace* What was that for?!

Ace: *Shrugs* I dunno. I was bored. Whatcha doin? *Notices Simaese's story* Oooh! yay! Fanfics! * pushes me outta the chair and starts to read away...*

Thanks everyone. So the next story I plan on writing I think I'm naming 'The Bonds of Love'.

Ya it's going to be one thoughs stores. And yes it's tied to this story.
Although I should probably finish 'Father Bird' first, Huh?
