I'm so freakin' MAD

Okay, at school yesturday, our P.E. teahcer told us to play soccer; boys against
girls. This kid in my class, Josh, he is a pro at soccer and he goes crazy about it when he kicks the ball like a drunk person. The boys were still winning but since we couldn't go outside (because the field is making a new soccer field and the paint on the grass is still wet), we have to use the crappy gym. He kicked the ball over my head and since Kaitlin is goalie, she got hit with it really badly and got a concussion. It was slightly bleeding and she was knocked out.

I was totally mad at him and I really want to kick him with the ball. I'm just so mad at him! I just hope he doesn't come back here next semester so, we'll have freedom. I can't believe the guys like him! That's why I'm pissed off at him.

Um... I may be a little biased since I play football/soccer but at least she saved the goal (in a weird sort of way). I do feel her pain.

When I was in goal at a match on the Sunday league, someone shot the ball a metre away from me and hit me on the head and god that hurt! I spent the rest of the game feeling all dizzy. And by the time the game was over, when I mentioned it to some of my team mates and the manager, they all said "Why didn't you say something!?" Well at least I was still stanmding but I had loads of headaches for 2-3 days before I could feel like myself again.

But boys are boys. They're rough and nasty when it comes to playing a sport like that. Especially against girls. If you've managed to tackle him really hard, well done for getting him back. If not, try again next time.

Yeah, I told her nice save out there and she's still wearing the ice-pack. I might tackle Josh on Monday morning and everyone will watch me, but, I'm used to people watching me attack other people ;).

In another case: After all these 3 and a half months, I FINALLY HAVE REACHED MY 100th POST!

Eddie: There's a shocker.

Congrats DJ!

Yep as I said before, boys like playing rough. Especially with girls. Okay there maybe some girls that can get vicious too. But the difference between boys and girls playing is that boys tend to try and do fancy tricks to get past other players and if it doesn't work then they'll do anything (including injurinmg them) to get the ball, whereas girls play more tactically like passing to people in space!

But if there's anything that I got to say against your arguement (not being offensive) was that A) it could have been luck for him to hit the ball on top of Katlin's head. It's not very often that people can do that everytime they kick the ball. and B) It depends on where on her head it was hit. If it was hit on the forehead, then it would have been okay. But if it was anywhere else on the head, then that would be painful.

But if he laughed at her in a mean and horrible way then go tackle him HARD.

Josh wasn't laughing he was just a little bit, though. And where did my friend get hit? She got it on the nose and a little bit on the forehead. Boy, her nose was bleeding. She really wants to sign up for cheerleader but, I keep telling her that she has to wait until her nose gets better... and her forehead.

That's gotta be painful. Especially if the majority of the injury was on the nose.

And yes, tell her to wait until she recovers. I know it sounds silly but she can't just get better the next second and do something else. Patience is a virtue and there's a reason for it. And time is the best cure for anything. But then it shows her what a caring friend you are.
