The Beautiful Blue and Green Planet (featuring the Looney Tunes)

And the reason to why I want to start this one? It's because I always wanted to put this story up. So here it is the prologue.

Prologue

"Okay! You know the score! Get moving!" Mr Swackhammer yelled as all the Looney Tunes slowly marched towards the giant purple spaceship with an unwelcoming yellow light shining from the entrance.

Depression hung in the atmosphere with Looney Tune's heads drooped low as the Nerdlucks gave them unfriendly smiles and quietly laughed at the tune's loss in the game that could have provided them with the alternative future of freedom. But as the muscular aliens supervised the slow moving queue, Bug and Lola shuffled their feet at the back of the line of depressed cartoon characters. Both hare and rabbit exchanged faces of sadness.

"I can't believe it." Lola murmured. "After all we did to keep our freedom, we... lost."

Bugs sighed.

"I guess we didn't try and believe hard enough." He uttered.

"But we were so close." Lola stammered as tears started to well up in her eyes.

Bugs grabbed her hand quickly just to give her a warm feeling so she didn't burst into tears. The last thing they needed was Lola crying loudly and drawing the Nerdluck's attention. They didn't want to get punished like Daffy did when he defiantly tried to make a valiant escape from the terrible fate that was placed upon those who took part in the game. Lola gazed at Bugs with suttle tears rolling down her cheeks. He could only give her his forced smile. But then it turned upside down seconds later.

"And what about our children?" Lola mumbled. "What would become of them?"

Bugs again gave a hesitant answer until he could turn his face to hers.

"If only they could be here in different cicumstances." He uttered again. "Entertainment is harder than any can imagine."

He then looked up to find that they were near the entrance.

"Okay Lola. Lets continue this later." He whispered as the two rabbits waddled past Zilch and Burpkus at the entrance.

The orange and purple aliens laughed quietly as the two rabbits gave a quick glance back to the lush green grass with the fresh green leaves brushing themselves in th gentle breeze that blew towards the once filled and friendly neighbourhood, into an abandoned ghost town. They then faced forwards into the spaceship and finally made their final steps into it before the Nerdlucks entered the ship. The doors slowly closed up the land that the tunes called 'home' and the ship took off into space at lightning speed. Bugs and Lola gazed sadly out of a small window in the ship to see their final glance at the blue and green planet that they were leaving behind. Lola turned to Bugs and quietly cried into his chest. He however continued to imagine that he and everyone else were back onto Earth, enjoying their freedom for just a little bit longer.

END OF PROLOGUE.

You wrote this fic! yay! It's a great alternate ending (though I usually don't like alternate endings) but I'm very curious about how their kids will turn out.

I think some of them my be brainwashed by the aliens so that they gain their complete loyalty (aka the Janissary method used by Turks during their rule over the Balkans). The kids are taught since an early age to fight for the alien's beliefs but they feel it is wrong.....

Chapter 1

A young child, a grey and white male rabbit in a yellow sleeveless jacket and blue shorts and dark blue and white trainers, was surrounded by the lush green grass that he stood on, with the brown trunks of trees scattered around the field with the green leaves on the branches wide spread. He admired the blue sky with white fluffy clouds floating slowly across the sky, and three navy blue swallows swooped past each other as they flew into the vanishing point towards the day time horizon. The boy felt the cool breeze whistle past his long ears as he closed his eyes took a deep breath through his nose. He exhaled and lifted his eye lids up until a voice called him.

"Chet! Come on! Lets play!"

He turned around to find the voice belonged to a cream and peach rabbit girl who's fring hung over one side of her face, wearing a pink dress and matching pink sandals, waving to him as though she wanted him to come with her. Assuming he knew her because she called out his name, he started to run to her. The girl rabbit giggled and started to run away from him. Chet knew that this must be a chasing game as he continued to run after her. As he continued running, he started to see a few other children his age run in the same direction as him. A black duck in a dark green tank top and grey shorts, two piglets; a boy who wore some blue dungarees, the other was a girl who had two brown plats at each side of her head wearing the same as the boy with a pink T-shirt underneath it. Others included a blue roadrunner in an orange sleeveless top and green shorts, a brown coyote wearing a pair of spectacles on his face in a white buttoned shirt and some grey trousers, a black and white skunk with a green beret on his head with a red buttoned shirt and blue shorts and a purple Tasmanian devil with a red cap and a blue T-shirt and orange shorts. All of the children were laughing happily.

They all ran towards a town in the distance. Chet laughed loudly until suddenly from the corner of his eye, he noticed the town dissolve like sand falling down to the ground. The picturesque scene soon started to dissolve in the same way. The sky, the birds, the trees, and even the other children stareted to blow away like sand in a storm. Chet stopped running and spun around frantically, seeing everything around him fall down until everything around him was white.

"No! Come back!" He cried. "Come back!"

But nothing would bring itself back to it's original form. Just like a piece of paper, the background was white. Chet kept crying out loudly for everything to come back even though it didn't.

"Chet. Chet. Chet..."
________________________________________________________

"Chet. Come on. Wake up."

Chet threw himself into a sitting position and panted. Drops of sweat trickled down his face until he finally turned to a cream and peach girl rabbit in the pink dress he had in his dream. Only this time she carried a sandy brown rabbit under her arm. She gave him an intrigued stare as he calmed down. As soon as Chet realised he was back in the wooden bed of his room, he stared at the girl.

"Lily? What are you doing here?" He inquired.

"Did you have the same dream again?" The girl smiled in excitement.

Chet stared at her a few moments longer before he giggled at her and smiled down to her just so she wouldn't change expression.

"Yeah." He finally replied. "I had the same one."

Lily jumped onto the bed and sat on the end.

"Was the grass and trees still green?" She asked like she was ready to listen to a story.

Chet nodded his head.

"Yep. They were still green."

"And the sky was blue as well?" Lily asked again. "And we were playing with our friends were we?"

Again, the boy nodded to the question.

"They were there too."

"Was there anything else that was there that wasn't there before?" Lily squeeled in excitement, waiting for the climax of his story.

Chet knew that Lily didn't want to miss a single detail of his dreams. And being her older brother meant that she could get the details from him before anyone else. But should he say about everything disappearing until there was nothing but a white abyss? That would be a very disappointing ending for her. He gave a sigh and turned to her.

"Well, there were a lot of swallows and colourful butterflies and flowers that weren't there before." He lied.

Lily clapped her hands in delight.

"I wish I could dream up stuff like you do." She said. "Maybe you could teach me how to dream that up. Can you? Please..."

Just when Chet tried to think up of a quick excuse to use, heard a voice calling from another room.

"Chet! Lily! Breakfast's on the table!"

This was his chance to use this to his advantage to avoid the tricky request from his little sister.

"I'll tell you later Lily." He said. "You should go down stairs and get to the table."

Lily whined and reluctantly slid off his bed and was about to run through a tunnel until she turned back to him.

"Do you promise to teach me?" She asked.

"Yeah. Sure." Chet shoved his words at her as she ran into the other room.

Chet sighed in relief that he had to keep the alternative ending secret to himself for now. After all, Lily was seven. And at that age she'd believe anything he told her. But what did everything disappearing in his dream mean? And why does it keep coming back to him over and over again? Chet only thought about these questions for a minute until he felt it was about time to get himself washed, dressed and at the breakfast table with his family.

Chapter 2

Chet raced through the tunnel from his bedroom until he came to a dining area with Bugs and Lola setting up the breakfast table and Lily sitting on her wooden chair waiting to be served. Bugs glanced at his son and smiled at him.

"Hey Chet. Are you alright?"

Chet gave a smile back to his father as he sat down on a chair at the table.

"I'm fine thanks Dad." He replied.

Lola brung two bowls of a porridge like mixture and placed them in front of her two children. Lily scooped some of the porridge into her mouth with a spoon as Chet looked up to his father again.

"So do you think we could do something together today dad?" He eagerly asked.

Both parents gave each other grave looks before Bugs turned to his son sadly.

"I'm sorry son." He apologised. "I've got to work again today. Perhaps another time when I get a day off."

Chet looked down onto his lumpy porridge in disappointment.

"Okay..."

This wasn't the first time his father wasn't able to get a day off work. It happened everytime he asked that question to him, and the response would be the same. Daddy can't come. He gave a sigh as he tucked into his breakfast which was luke-warm since he didn't start on it yet.

After breakfast, Chet and Lily walked from their home, past other homes similar to theirs. Chet still stared down at the ground in deep thought. Lily noticed his behaviour and tugged him on the arm.

"What's the matter Chet?" She asked. "I know daddy can't be with us today but I suppose he has a job to do."

"But it's not fair!" Chet shot out. "He's always at work! Every single day he is! Why can't he stay at home for once?"

Lily looked down onto the ground too. She felt exactly the same as him. But then she held his hand to see if that would calm him down.

"Well lets go to Moron Hill. All our other friends are waiting there."

Chet couldn't help but not get too angry with her. For starters, he'd get into trouble for shouting at her and he did not want that. But there was something about Lily that made him feel at least optimistic when it came to his outlook in life. He turned his head and smiled at her.

"Come on! I'll race you!"

Chet started to run ahead of Lily. She tried her best to catch up while clinging onto her toy rabbit.

"Hey!" She cried. "Wait for me!"

But they continued to laugh as they raced towards the top of the hill.

After running for minutes, the two rabbits finally climbed to the top of the hill. But they found they weren't the only ones there as they saw a duck, two pigs, a roadrunner and a Tasmanian devil all their age, running in circles around each other while a coyote and a skunk sat on a log minding their own business. Chet and Lily ran towards the group that were running around each other. The group of children stopped running as soon as they saw the two rabbits approaching them.

"Hi guys!" Chet greeted them. "What's up?"

"Danny's saying he's not 'it' when he is!" The girl pig squealed.

"Did not Prunella!" The duck shot back at her. "You're it! You didn't even tag me!"

Just as sparks were flying between each other, the other pig in blue dungarees with a red T-shirt underneath stepped into the middle and held the two back.

"P-p-please d-don't fight." He stuttered. "Eng-eng-eng- It's not n-nice t-to fight."

Both of the opposing sides pulled away from the boy's hands. Prunella placed her hands on her waist and glared at him.

"But you saw me touch him, didn't you Peter?"

"No he didn't!" Danny objected.

"Enough!" Chet finally silenced them all. "Just start the game again. We weren't here when you started to play."

Prunella and Danny reluctantly agreed with each other as the roadrunner bounced up and down in excitement.

"Come on! Come on! Lets play!"

"Alright Speed!" Lily said. "I'll be 'it'."

Meanwhile while the others were playing 'Tag', Chet approached the coyote leaning back against the log that the skunk was sitting on, twisting a screw driver on a blue toy aeroplane.

"Hey Artie." Chet greeted again. "You're still working on the plane?"

The coyote looked up to him in response and then concentrated on screwing in the screw.

"I think this plane might be ready by the time I've screwed this screw in."

Chet smiled as he turned to a skunk with a green beret on his head with a red shirt on, with a paper note pad laid across his lap.

"Hey Paris. Have you written anything down yet?"

"Nope." He shook his head while chewing on the lid of his pen. "I seem to have what my daddy calls a 'writer's block'. I can't seem to think of any poems today."

Chet looked down on the empty blank paper when he heard a "Eureka!" coming from next to him.

"It's finished! It's ready to fly!" Artie suddenly announced as the rest of the children gathered around the coyote with the blue aeroplane being proudly displayed.

"Wow! It looks so good Artie!" Lily complimtented him as she stared at it in awe.

"Yes." The coyote nodded his head. "But it also flies good too. Watch."

Artie held onto a blue remote control and pushed a silver switch up. The aeroplane thenzoomed off from the ground and into the air. It swooped and dived but with Artie's piloting, it displayed lots of loops and swirls in the air. Everyone followed the plane in astonishment until it suddenly jerked. Everyone spun around to see what was wrong when they saw Danny and Artie fighting over the control.

"Let me fly it now!" Danny growled as he tried to pull the remote away from him.

"No!" Artie snarled. "I built the plane so I know how to fly it! Get off it!"

The two continued to have the tug of war for the remote until the plane flew high into the air, only to eventually commit a nose dive onto the ground in the distance. Once a smash was heard, Artie managed to snatch the remote away from Danny.

"Now look what you've done!" He yelled at the mallard. "I worked so hard on the plane and you had to go and break it!"

"Well it wouldn't have smashed if you just let everyone else have a go!" The duck yelled back.

"You two, cut it out!" Chet shouted at both of them. "Lets go find the plane!"

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement as they ran towards where the plane disappeared.

They searched through the short grass so it shouldn't be hard to find. Chet searched around the area he designated himself to until he managed to spot the aeroplane in the distance. He ran up to it to see how damaged it when he suddenly tripped over a stone that he didn't see.

He fell in front of the plane and landed on his front. Chet groaned as he looked up. But instead of picking himself up to see if he had any grazes on his hands and knees, he picked himself up in a kneeling position and gazed up to a glowing blue and green planet in the black sky. He gazed at it as though he was hypnotised to it. So much so that he didn't even hear Lily run up to him.

"You've found the plane." She said.

"Lily." Chet murmured. "Look up there."

The rabbit girl looked up and saw the marvel that both of them were now staring at. Lily then turned around and called their companions.

"Hey you guys! Look at what Chet found!"

Soon enough, the others came stampeding through the short dry grass expecting to see the aeroplane in pieces. But Lily poited up to the sky.

"Look."

The others tilted their heads up to see the glowing green and blue planet in the sky. They soon forgot about the smashed aeroplane and gazed in awe at the planet.

"Wow. It's so beautiful." Prunella uttered.

"It's so p-p-pretty." Peter stuttered.

Paris gazed at the planet until he whipped out his yellow notebook and pen from his brown bag and started to scribble down some words of the extraordinary sight that they stared at into the sky. The beautiful blue and green planet.

Chapter 3

"That planet we saw was beautiful wasn't it?" Lily commented as she and Chet walked past many of the coregated metal homes.

Chet didn't respond due to the fact that he was in very deep thought. That planet they all saw reminded him of his reucurring dreams he's been having. The similar colour both his dream world and the planet shared. Maybe they're connected some how. And if so, what?

"Chet?"

Chet snapped out of his thoughts and turned to Lily who was waiting for a response from him for a minute. He smiled down on her again.

"Yeah. It was beautiful."

"Do you think we could one day get there?" Lily asked.

Chet gave a puzzled look down on her. True she has never had the dreams he had and she looked as though she would love to go to the planet. Chet looked away from her at first until he turned to her again.

"I don't know. Maybe."

"Maybe?"

Chet paused and gave her another smile.

"One day. When mom and dad aren't busy."

"What about everyone else?" Lily asked. "What about our friends and their parents?"

"They can come too." He said.

Suddenly, Chet bumped into a figure and fell down onto the floor. The rabbit rubbed his head and looked up. Above him stood a black and white cat in a green jacket with orange baggy trousers. He looked at least fifteen from where the rabbit was looking. Chet stood himself up and sweeped the dust off from his shorts.

"Sorry." He apologised. "We weren't looking where we were going."

The figure just stood there and gave him a cold stare.

"If you're thinking about trying to get to that planet, you'd better think before you leap." The cat warned.

The children exchanged puzzled expressions at each other as they turned back to look at the cat.

"What are you talking about?" Chet inquired.

"Don't think about going there until you're sure it's the rigfht thing to do." The cat said as he walked past the rabbits and disappeared around ther corner.

Chet and Lily just stared into the space where the cat strolled.

"Who was that guy?" Lily looked at Chet.

Chet still stared at the distance with the confused look still planted on his face.

"I don't know." He replied.

Chet turned around to face the other way and held onto his sister's hand.

"Come on. We better get home. Mom and dad will wonder where we are."

Lily nodded in agreement as they both started walking home while trying to figure out what the stranger meant by what he said.
________________________________________________________

The adolescent cat in the green jacket strolled down the dusty path towards a coregated house with the dim lights shining through the windows of the house. He gave a deep sigh as he entered it. Through the door, he entered the dining area where another black and white cat stired a cooking pot on the cooker. The cat turned around to see the other cat in the room.

"Sylvester Junior. Where have you been?" The cat interrogated him as he let go of the wooden spoon.

"Around, dad." His son answered putting his hands into his pockets.

"Around where?" His father demanded again. "I was afraid you were going to get into trouble with those Nerdlucks again."

"It's okay dad." Sylvester Jr assured him. "I wasn't even gonna try anything today."

"But what if you did and you were seriously injured?" His father asked his son. "There was a time when you couldn't walk until a few weeks later because those monsters broke your left leg!"

"Dad! That was when I was twelve!" The adolescent answered back.

"But that meant that I couldn't go to work until you were well enough to limp while you walked." His dad said in an agitated tone. "And then I got punished for trying to make you better!"

Just then, Sylvester Jr noticed some smoke coming from the pot and the porridge like substance spilling over the cooking top.

"Dad! The dinner!" He cried out as he ran over to the cooker and turned the flame off from under the pot.

His father looked down in shame.

"I'm sorry I burnt dinner again." He sniffed.

The teenager sat his father down on the chair.

"Hey you take it easy." He comforted him. "I'll go get us some proper food. I won't take long."

"From the fair ground food stands?" His father looked up.

"Well it's either from there or you won't have enough energy for work." Sylvester Jr said as he strode towards the exit.

"Please don't get into trouble son." His father begged.

"Dad. I said I wouldn't take long." Sylvester assured him. "I promise I'll come back without those Nerdlucks chasing me."

And with that, he disappeared into the door.

From outside, he stopped and sighed. He could hear his father's quiet weeping from the house. Sylvester knew he'd do that. All the stress from work, the Nerdluck's pressurising taunts and having to take care of him all at the same time would of course make him break down. Anyone would from all that constant pressure. And with his mother not being around didn't make things any easier or better for the cats. He wished that he could go back into the house and comfort his dad. But right now, both their stomach's were growling and he knew that he must be quick about the evening delivery. Not just for them, but for the whole community. He couldn't just give them one thing without offering the others another.

Putting those thoughts aside, he set off with a brown sack in one hand as he climbed through a gap in the metal fence and into the fair ground.

Chapter 4

A blue and green planet
Floats in the black blanketed sky
With shining stars surrounding
The blue and green planet

With it's radiant glow
That's obvious to see
The beauty in bewildered eyes
The blue and green planet

Is there anyone there
Living in it's beauty
Breathing in it's air
Of the blue and green planet

From where we stand
We all wonder if it's possible
Possible to go and visit
The blue and green planet

A blue and green planet
Floats in the black blanketed sky
With shining stars surrounding
The blue and green planet
________________________________________________________

"Mom! Dad! You'll never believe what we saw!" Lily exclaimed in excitement as they entered their corregated house into the dining room where Lola turned around from the kitchen to see her children.

"What is it?" Their mother smiled at them.

"We saw this glowing blue and green planet!" Chet proclaimed. "It was so beautiful in the sky."

Lola's face changed from eagerly smiling to a suttle shock. She subconsciously put her right hand near her mouth.

"You've seen a blue and green planet?" She stammered.

"Yeah." Lily nodded. "We said to each other that one day, we'll go to that planet and see what's in it."

Lola looked down onto the ground and took a deep breath and lifted her head up and gave a nervous smile at the children.

"Th- that's nice." Their mother said as Chet looked around.

"Dad still not back from work?" he asked.

Lola shook her head.

"I'm sure he'll be back soon." she assured him.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Lola quickly attended to the door. She nervously pulled back the door to find Pepe Le Pew standing there holding a piece of paper in his hands.

"Hello Pepe." She greeted him. "What brings you here?"

"Madame, I want you to think up a tune to zis!" The skunk said extravagantly as he passed the paper to her.

Lola read the paper. Her eyes scanned the words on the paper until she finally looked up to the skunk again.

"Pepe? Did you write this?" The rabbit asked him.

"As strange as it seems, non." He replied.

"But how did you manage to come up with this?" Lola inquired.

"Well you see, my son Paris came home earlier and I asked him why he was so late." Pepe started. "He zen told me that he had seen something wonderful and showed me zis that he wrote. I read ze poem and it inspired me to ask you to make a song for it. Please say you'll do it! Ze words touched me in here".

He pointed to his chest where the heart is located.

"Surely it has touched you too?"

Lola stared at him in shock. His son wrote this? Well, with a few improvements, it could be a song. Lola looked back up to him.

"I'll see what I can do." She answered.

"Thank you." Pepe bowed to her. "I know you'll be able to make it come to life".

With that, he left the house. This left Lola in a very confused state. She shut the door behind her as she entered inside again. She still kept her eyes on the piece of paper as she walked. Chet and Lily gazed at their mother in wonder.

"Mom. Who was that at the door?" Chet asked.

Lola turned her head down to her children and gave them a smile.

"I'm going to do some work now." She said. "Is that alright with you?"

Both children looked at each other. For once, their mother actually wants to do some form of work like their father was doing right now. But from her face, they felt that she didn't seem to mind the challenge. Both of them looked back up to her.

"Sure." Chet nodded.

"Just don't work too hard mom." Lily added.

Lola giggled.

"I'll do my best."

She walked through another tunnel to find her room.

Chet and Lily stood there puzzled at what happened. Lily then looked at her brother.

"Paris wrote a poem that Pepe and Lola like?" she said.

"He did have his notebook with him." Chet told her. "He had it with him while you played 'it'."

"But what did he write in there that made them so happy?" Lily asked again.

"I don't know." Chet said hesitantly.

Neither one of them knew what was written on the piece of paper that Pepe gave to Lola. But Chet was guessing, after what happened today, that it might have something to do with the blue and green planet.

I especially like the chapter where you get a glimpse into Sylvester Junior's life - they try to beat him daown, but he'll keep fighting. Best character so far.

But I somehow can't see Lola in a housewife position. And why would she ask the kids for permission? Who's the parent around there?

Lumoslight - Well Lola wasn't at work at the time and the home would be messy if no-one cleared up. And since Bugs has gone to work in chapter 2, I think Lola doesn't want to upset the kids by leaving them alone for a while without consulting them first. You'd feel a bit peed off if your parents suddenly went somewhere without telling you first where they're going. Plus Sylvester Jr put himself in the parenting role when Sylvester Senior felt stressed out. I'm not being offensive or anything but I don't want to make up excuses either.

But yes. I like the way Sylvester Jr's character is portrayed for now. In fact, if he was a made up character, he'd be my favourite aww .

Siamese - Thanks. I'll keep pressing on biggrin .

True, I'd be annoyed if my parents wouldn't tell me where they are going, but they won't ask for my opinion if they did.
Actually my mum worked and we kids in the family we always taught that women ought to work just like men did for it was the only way of having your opinions respected and be truly independent (there are three girls in the family, me being the youngest). Oh, I'm tattling off again.....

Btw, I'm really interested in your fic. Continue!

Chapter 5

The next morning Chet woke up groggily. His eyes danced as he sat up on his bed and scratched his head. He yawned and stretched his arms before rubbing his eyes. He had that dream again. That same reucurring dream with the greentrees and grass and the blue sky disappearing into a paper white background. After he breathed a deep sigh, he began to subconsciously hum a tune. He jumped out of bed and decided to get washed and dressed. But he continued to hum the tune.

After he was ready, he was still humming the melody at the breakfast table. He didn't realise that Lily was already at the table. Nor did he pay attention to his parent's conversation.

"So you're playing this song up dere tonight?" Bugs asked Lola.

"Yeah." She answered. "But I have to find a tune for it though. I've got the words but I need the tune."

As soon as she stopped talking, nothing else was heard apart from Chet's cheerfull humming. Lola listened carefully to the melody as she sat down to the table listening to her son.

"Hey Chet. What are you humming?" she asked as her son rose his head to her eye level.

"I don't know." He replied. "I just started humming this tune."

"Well could you start at the beginning please?" Lola said politely as she waited patiently.

At first, nothing was heard. But soon the humming came out from Chet again as his mother found pleasure in the melody. Bugs and Lily however glanced at each other as though they are asking each other whether they knew what was going on with what they were seeing and hearing.
_________________________________________________________

"Chet. What's going on?" Lily asked her brother as they were walking up the path towards Moron Hill.

Chet stopped humming to turn at his little sister.

"I'm sorry. What were you saying?"

Lily pouted for a moment before she continued.

"Well you haven't stopped humming since this morning. And why did mom want you to keep humming to her?"

"I don't know." Chet replied. "It's just I heard it in my dream."

"The one with the green grass and blue skies?" Lily blinked.

Chet nodded.

"I listened to it in my dream. And I can't help but hum it. I can't get it out of my head."

Lily hugged her toy rabbit even tighter as he smiled down on her.

"Come on." He encouraged her. "Lets go to Moron Hill to see if anyone is there."

With that, they both ran up the path towards the top of the hill.

When they arrived, they saw that their friends sat on and around the log instead of playing 'tag' or going about their own business. The two rabbits approached the others gazing up to the glowing planet in the black sky.

"Hey guys." Chet greeted them. "Aren't you playing 'tag' today?"

Prunella shook her head while she kept focussed at the planet.

"Nope. We're just looking at the blue and green planet."

"Eng-eng- It sure is p-p-p-pretty isn't it?" Peter stuttered in his usual way as both rabbits sat down on the log with Danny, Artie and Paris.

Chet noticed that Paris was writing in his yellow notebook again. He thought the skunk must have had a lot of inspiration since they caught their eyes on the planet. But he just smiled as he looked up at the same direction as the others. And sure enough, he began to hum the tune again. Everyone else turned to listen to what he was humming.

"What's that you're humming Chet?" Speed piped up.

"I don't know." He replied. "I just woke up this morning and I just heard it in my head."

"He hasn't stopped humming it since this morning." Lily added.

"Start from the beginning then." Artie said. "We haven't heard all of it yet."

And a few seconds later, Chet started from the beginning as everyone else turned back to face the blue and green planet again. The nostalgic sensation filed the atmosphere as Chet continued humming.
_______________________________________________________

Sylvester senior paced up and down in the kitchen. His son promised to come back unharmed but he hadn't come back yet. Where could he be? What is he doing right now? What if the Nerdlucks have caught him and are punishing him? Sylvester Sr chewed his claws nervously until he jumped at the sound of some large bangs on the corregated metal door. The cat cautiously crept towards the door. He pulled the door back until he jumped out of the way of Sylvester Jr being thrown in there. His father peered from the door to find the green and purple Nerdlucks wiping their hands together and s******ing to each other.

"You should learn to control your off-spring!" The purple alien taunted.

"Lets hope the cat's learnt his lesson for trying to break the rules!" The green alien threatened as they both walked away laughing until they disaapeared around the corner.

Sylvester Sr quickly closed the door behind him and turned to his son. He was covered in the brown dirt from the ground and noticed some big bruises everywhere with a few scratches too. He rushed to the casualty and picked him up. The casualty's father looked at his face to find a trail of blood trickling down from inside of his nose.

"Sylvester Junior! You promised to come back here unharmed!" his father exclaimed as he wrapped his son's arm around his father's shoulders.

"Then it's their fault I couldn't keep my promise." Sylvester Jr coughed as he wiped the trail of blood off his face with his dusty arm.

"But you didn't have to go out there and risk getting injured because we were both desperate!" His father said in worry.

"No. I risked going out there because you were desperate." Sylvester Jr corrected him. "Those bloody bastards think they can treat us like slaves and give us no rewards! They just punish us if we stepped out of line or can't fufill their desires!"

"Well sometimes life's like that." His father countered. "Sometime's life is unfair and we have to make the most of it."

"No we don't!" Sylvester Jr snapped. "Don't you remember how happy we were before those aliens came down from outer space and ordered us to go and perform stupid things for their damn customers on their pathetic excuse for a planet!"

"I do remember!" Sylvester Sr's eyes welled up with pools of tears. "It's so painful for me to think about it because we're not free anymore!"

"And all because Micheal Jordan, the greatest basketball player in the world couldn't shoot that damn hoop at the last second!" The teenager pointed an accusing finger at his father.

"Don't talk about Micheal like that!" Sylvester shouted in rage. "He didn't exactly ask to get involved in our mess but he decided to help us! He didn't care whether he was a human being playing with a bunch of Looney Tunes as long as he was happy to help! Just you think about what you're going say before you actually say it!"

The adolescent gave a guilty glance at the ground and sighed before he pushed his father off him and limped towards the exit.

"Where do you think you're going?" Sylvester Sr demanded.

"I'm going to do what you've told me to do." His son murmured. "I'm going think about things."

"But you're still injured!" His father yelled. "Come back and rest in bed!"

But his son disappeared before his father tried to call him back. In the end Sylvester Sr gave up. It was pointless in changing his son'd mind. Once his mind was made up, that's it. There's no holding him back. But as Sylvester Sr stood on the spot where he stood before, a tear rolled down his cheek as he replayed Sylvester Jr's departure. Only he imagined his son the age when they both arrived at the planet. Five years olds. The father gave a huge sniff as he began to worry about how far his son can limp before he collapses into an injured heap on the dusty floor.

Chapter 6

"That planet we saw was beautiful wasn't it?" Lily said as she and Chet walked towards their house.

Chet didn't even comment. It was strange how he hummed the same tune all day and didn't even realise it. He felt that it felt something within him. But what that was he didn't know. Nor was he even going to try and answer it while he was walking at the same time. He found that out when he bumped into the cat stranger yesterday. Thinking and walking at the same time could be dangerous. He then heard his name being called again by his little sister. He looked down to see her intrigued expression on her face. All he could do was smile down at her.

"Yeah. That planet was beautiful."

They finally reached the house and pushed open the door. They entered into the dining area to find Bugs coming out from a tunnel carrying a green woolly scarf and a blue woolly hat. Their father looked at his children.

"Are you ready to go you two?" He asked.

"Go where?" Chet asked back.

"To watch your mother perform tonight." Their father finally answered. "We're going to give her full support."

Chet had forgotten about tonight. So both children decided to make up so time by quickly snatching their scarfs and hats from their places and quickly rushed out of the door with their father.

After walking for so long, they finally reached a large purple and red building. After they passed by the red and orange Nerdlucks, they entered back stage to look for Lola. They finally found her sitting on a chair, playing the last minute tune to herself so she could get it right. She lifted her head up to see the rest of her family approaching her.

"Are you okay Lola?" Bugs asked her.

"I'm alright." She replied. "I just haven't felt so nervous for a long time."

Bugs put his arm around her shoulders for comfort.

"Don't worry." He assured her. "You'll do great."

As she gave a smile up to him, a female pig rushed up to them.

"Lola. Get ready. You'll come up in just a moment."

"Okay Petunia." Lola nodded as she got up from Bugs hold while holding the neck of the wooden acoustic guitar.

She slowly shuffled her feet towards the entrance of the stage. Chet and Lily watched as they waited for the announcement of Lola's big debut to be declared.

"Ladie and gentaliens, boys and globs, we'll first introduce a musical act starring Lola Bunny!"

The crowd cheered as the family watched her disappear onto the stage. Chet wanted to take a better view so he hung onto the edge of the curtain just out of sight from the audience. At that moment, Lola started to play the guitar. Chet's eyes widened. She was using the tune from what he hummed through out the day. Not that he minded of course but he was so suprised on how it sounded different on a guitar compared to the whistling which started it all off. Just then he saw his mother's mouth open. He waited to hear what sound came from her mouth.
________________________________________________________________

When I was small I used to lie in bed
Staring out the window at the stars ahead
I wondered what was out there
Within the sky that I stare

I dream of things that could be out there
Like purple trees and alien gummy bears
But no-one knows
About this planet that glows

So now...

(Chorus)
I want to find out about a place
Where things fly around or live in space
But the place I want to know
Is a blue and green planet

When Alice looked through the looking glass
She saw the strange things that world has
So used to ordinary
She found some of the things so scary

But at the same time when things are surreal
There are lots of stuff that make you appeal
To the wonders of the world
Everything would unfurl

But now...

(Chorus)
I want to find out about a place
Where things fly around or live in space
But the place I want to know
Is a blue and green planet

(Interlude)

I dreamt of a place
Where I want to return
But thinking about it too much
Make my lonely heart yearn

(Chorus)
I want to find out that place
Where things fly around or live in space
But the place that I want know
Is a blue and green planet

With green trees and green grass and the blue sky
With flowers of many colours and butterflies
And I shall hear the laughing and see children's smiles
And I shall breath in the gentle breeze that blows in the air.

Until then I wake up to reality
And once I sigh of sadness, I see the sun gleam
From the window I see disappointment
It was all a dream.

(End.)
_________________________________________________________________

The audience of aliens started to clap loudly as Lola quickly made her exit out of the stage as she was embraced by her family's hugs.

"Lola. That song was beautiful." Bugs complimented her.

"You were really great mom!" Lily exclaimed in delight.

"Th- Thank you." Lola stammered. "I thought I'd never make it."

While all the commotion was happening, no-one not even Chet, realised that a secret tear run down his cheek. The song touched him. He knew who that song was all about. Everyone he knew.

Sorry if this chapter took so long to come up with. But it's here now! Chapter 7!

Chapter 7

Sylvester Jr gave a groan of pain as he limped across the dusty ground. He tried not to make so much noise by gritting his teeth to hold back the moans.

But still he continued to limp past a purple and red building. Eventually, he had no choice but to drop down behind a garbage can so the Nerdlucks wouldn't see if he was going to do something that was against the rules. As he panted for air, he looked down onto his leg. He gently touched it with his right hand. But he flinched at the amount of pain that gave him. He seethed through his teeth and immediately stripped his hand away from his injured leg. Just then, he heard some music playing. Not fair ground music but music that came from the open door from the red and purple building. He listened carefully to the tune. It sounded quite peaceful. And then he heard a female voice singing.

Sylvester Jr sighed. From the moment he heard the words, his hand subconsciously rose up to grab a silver heart shaped locket around his neck. He started to remember memories that he rather not remember. Yet, it seemed like the only thing he could remember around the time.

The cat clenched the locket tighter. He closed his eyes and imagined an image that made him smile just only for a moment, until he slowly opened his eyes to change his expression into a shattered face.

Sylvester Jr felt it was time he left. He staggered to his feet and limped off away from the building. The music started to fade away into silence as he struggled to get to a grubby white caravan in the distance.

He traveled further until he could finally see an old looking human, black man, wearing a pair of navy blue track suit bottoms and a track suit jacket the same colour, sitting on a cardboard box staring into the sky. Sylvester Jr was about to call out to the man when he suddenly collapsed. Fortunately, the man heard the fall as looked down at the injured cat in a mangled heap. He rose from the box and ran towards the teenager.

"Sylph!" He shot out as he approached the cat.

The man picked him up from the floor and wrapped the cat's arm around his shoulder. He then finally dragged the cat back to where he was sitting  and positioned Sylvester Jr onto another cardboard box that sat next to the one the man sat on.

"Are you okay?" The man asked in concern.

Sylvester Jr hung his head low and stared down onto the ground.

"I'm fine Micheal." He replied as the man sat back down on the box.

"I see you bumped into the Nerdlucks again?" Micheal gave a smile to try and cheer the cat up. "Where does it hurt this time?"

Sylvester looked up to the man and glared at him. Micheal knew that Sylvester Jr didn't like people trying to cheer him up. Especially at a time when he was injured. The cat just sighed though and pointed to his injured leg.

"This leg."

Micheal rubbed his hands together vigorously and separated them out to slowly hover them around Sylvester's leg. At that moment, the cat exhaled slowly into a calm state.

"So what were they trying to punish you for now?" Micheal finally asked the cat.

Sylvester gazed up to the sky.

"I tried stealing some food for my dad and everyone else." He answered. "We were getting desperate, so I went out to find some proper food to eat."

"And you couldn't keep your promise to him?" The man added.

The teenager shook his head.

"Nope. The Nerdlucks broke it."

Micheal continued to hover his hand down Sylvester Jr's leg. A silence bridged their conversation before Sylvester Jr started again.

"I heard a song that bought back some painful memories." He said as Micheal gave a puzzled look at him.

"Oh yes." Micheal smiled at the cat. "Lola's singing it tonight isn't she?"

"The words she sang reminded me of our old home." The cat continued.

Micheal smiled again.

"I remember. The blue skies, the green trees, and all the people there."

"Those were the days." Sylvester Jr agreed.

"Wouldn't we do anything just to go back there and see all that again?" Micheal gazed up to the sky as Sylvester turned around to him and frowned.

"Must you always start that conversation?" He said in a sharp tone. "We always have this conversation and nothing has improved."

Micheal just chuckled.

"So you finally noticed then? I thought you were never gonna get it. Even after your coming of age."

As Micheal laughed, Sylvester got more frustrated.

"Stop that!" He barked at him. "I just didn't want to hurt your feelings that's all!"

Micheal then reduced his laughs down to suttle chuckles as Sylvester Jr gave a guilty look down onto the ground. He then raised his head up to face Micheal with that same guilty look.

"Sorry."

"For what?" Micheal stopped chuckling.

"For saying something bad about you behind your back. I said that you were supposed to be the greatest basketball player ever and yet you couldn't score that final hoop in time."

Micheal then started chuckling to himself again. This agitated the teenager even more.

"Why are you laughing!?" He shouted at the man. "How can you laugh after I said I hurt your feelings!?"

"Why?" Micheal still giggled. "Why do you always apologise to me for saying something about me that I can't hear?"

Sylvester's face softened to a sad expression.

"Because... I feel guilty about disrespecting you after you offered to help us play basketball against them goons. And yet we still lost. And even if you didn't manage to do it, I didn't want to blame you."

"Stop it please." Micheal calmed himself down and reduced the chuckles into a smile. "All everyone has never done is blame me or gave me a negative comment. They always praise me even when I do something wrong just so they can keep me happy. But I don't want people to disguise their feelings from me. I just want them to be honest. And you should be too. I don't want you to bottle everything up and spill everything at the wrong time. Promise me that you'll do that from now on."

Sylvester game a hesitant pause until he looked up to him again.

"I have so many promises to keep." He stated. "But I'll do my best."

Micheal gave another smile at him as Sylvester Jr stood himself up.

"Don't push yourself too hard too." Micheal advised him. "You'll hurt yourself if you do that."

Sylvester smiled and nodded his head.

"Alright. Just don't act like my father."

Just as the cat started walking away, Micheal called him that made the cat spin around to face him.

"Are you sure you're gonna be alright?" He finally asked.

Sylvester Jr chuckled to himself.

"I'll be fine."

And with that, he walked away from the caravan. Al Micheal could do was smile back at him. Even if the teenager didn't see it, he still smiled.

"So selfless that boy." He murmured to himself. "He has so many promises he's kept to himself. So worried about everyone else."

The man then gazed up to the stars to see them sparkle above him.

"But I know for a fact, that he can fulfill them all. I know he can."

Chapter 8

"That planet is so pretty." Prunella commented as she walked amongst the rest of her friends from Moron Hill.

"It gets more beautiful everyday." Speed agreed.

Spaz the Tasmanian devil, grunted in agreement.

While everyone else spoke to each other, Chet still day dreamed by humming the song that Lola sang yesterday. It had a pretty big effect on him. Ever since he heard the final product of the song, he has been away from people, humming the song and wondering about the planet. Sometimes someone even had to hit him on the arm because a simple call of his name couldn't snap him out of his deep thoughts. He only stopped humming when someone gave a gasp.

"Hey! What's that alien boss doing coming towards our homes with his cronies?" Danny pointed as Chet snapped out of his trance.

As soon as all the children saw the group of aliens in the distance, they all immediately ran towards the corregated metal houses where their families already stood outside. After all the children embraced their parents, Mr Swackhammer arrived along with all of the coloured Nerdlucks towering behind him. The boss alien stepped forward as he pulled out a thick, brown cigar from the pocket of his purple suit and lit it up with a silver lighter before he inhaled from it and blew out the smoke.

"Looney Tunes." He started. "I know it's quite rare for me to actually speak to you in person, but I have been thinking about a serious matter. Yesterday, I listened to a performance done by Lola Bunny. But what she sang made me suspicious. So I decided to analyse the song and found that she must be getting home sick. So I concluded she was thinking about her home."

He snapped his khaki fingers as the orange alien Zilch, and the green one Null, marched aggressively towards the rabbit family. They all gave faces of fear as the aliens grabbed both of Lola's arms and dragged her away from the rest of them.

"Stop! Leave her alone!" Bugs shouted with an out stretched arm.

But the two Nerdlucks ignored the hare's plea as they dragged her towards Mr Swackhammer. The boss took another puff out of his cigar.

"You see ladies and gentlemen, you made a deal with these guys and you lost the game. And she expects us to clear the deal off after a touching song." He continued. "And for trying a stunt like that, she must deserve some form of punishment."

"Stop! Wait!" Pepe Le Pew cried as he ran a few steps forward. "It's not her fault! I was ze one who wrote ze song and I thought she could sing that well! It was only a mere experiment to see how her voice can cope with it! Please! If zere's anyone to punish zen it should be me!"

The Nerdlucks exchanged confused glances at each other as Mr Swackhammer gave a disgruntled look at the skunk. But then a sly smile crossed his face as he snapped his fingers to gain his henchmen's attention.

"Put the rabbit down." He ordered.

Feeling more confused, Null and Zilch loosened their grip on Lola until she was finally allowed to run back to her husband. Mr Swackhammer took another puff from his cigar and smiled.

"Because I am a generous guy, I'll let this slide for now. But if I should hear that song being sung, or if there is any talk about your home land, then my henchmen will deal with you the hard way until you learn."

"What!?" Daffy exclaimed. "That's absurd! We might as well not speak at all!"

Mr Swackhammer snapped his fingers once more and Bupkus (the purple alien) charged towards the duck. Before Daffy could move, Bupkus grabbed him by the neck and slammed him down onto the ground with a single powerful punch. The duck coughed and groaned as the boss approached him and looked down upon the mallard.

"I don't know if you've heard, but I never asked you for an opinion you filthy pile of feathers."

Mr Swackhammer tapped his cigar so the ashes landed on his orange beak and kicked the dust from the ground onto him. He then ordered his henchmen to retreat from the Looney Tunes. As they walked towards the exit, Mr Swackhammer turned around and faced the toons with an evil grin across his face.

"Let that be a warning to those who are willing to break their part of the deal." He pointed down at the unconscious duck before he marched out of the shanty town along with the rest of the Nerdlucks. By the time they all disappeared from their view, a fearful atmosphere hung in the air as everyone exchanged dumbfounded looks to each other.

Daffy's wife, Dolly picked her husband up and took him inside their home, with Danny's tearful eyes following them as he disappeared through the door as well. Lola hugged Bugs as he reacted the same way as the children watched them, overwhelmed of what had just happened.

"Bugs. I'm so sorry." she stammered as tears started to trickle down her face.

Just then Pepe approached both rabbits along with his wife Peony.

"Please forgive me Lola Bunny." He apologised. "I am so sorry to what has happened here. I am such a foolish imbecile. Getting you into trouble like zis."

"It's alright Pepe." Lola sighed. "It was my fault I decided to continue with this anyway."

"But you don't understand! I-"

Before Pepe could finish his sentence, he felt a tug on his hand from his son Paris. He gazed at the young skunk with pools of tears at the corner of his eyes.

"Daddy. Why did you lie to the boss alien? I thought I was the one who wrote that poem you gave to Lola."

Pepe dropped down to his son's level as the child started to whimper like a dog. He wrapped his arms around his son and cooed him to calm down.

"Oh Paris. I would never ever want you to get hurt by those evil monsters. I only lied so that I could protect you."

As all the skunks cried into each other's arms, Bugs and Lola gave sincere expressions of guilt. Concern was written over all over Chet's face as Lily held onto his arm.

"Chet? What's going to happen now?" She whispered.

Her brother just looked down onto her innocent face. He couldn't find the right combination of words to give her a proper answer.

"I don't know." He replied as he looked onto the devastation of the aftermath of the Nerdluck's visit.

Chapter 9

Gloom rested amongst the children on Moron Hill after yesterday's confrontation with the Nerdlucks and Mr Swackhammer. What they witnessed felt like they watched a horror film, where it was the only time that the villain, the monster succeded. And for once, Chet wasn't even humming the song that was sung two days ago. He just kicked his feet against the log. He turned his head around to find Danny drawing random doodles onto the dusty part of the ground, expressing the same sad face as they all were. He knew he had to feel sorry for him the most, after what they did to his father. He was even suprised that he didn't get angry just like his dad would have done. But that was a time where Daffy had been lifeless. Finally, Chet's mouth opened.

"So is your dad alright?" He mumbled softly to Danny.

Danny tilted his head to Chet's face still displaying the gloomy expression.

"He's awake now. But his head hurts really bad. I'm not even sure if he is alright."

Paris then sniffed and started whimpering.

"I'm sorry." He apologised as tears rolled down his face. "If it wasn't for me writing down that poem then no-one would have got hurt."

"Is that why you haven't got your notebook with you?" Artie asked.

Paris nodded.

"Daddy told me that I shouldn't write anymore poems or stories for now."

"But it's not your fault Paris." Prunella assured the skunk.

"It's mine." Chet interrupted her statement. "If I hadn't have seen that planet, then none of this would be happening."

The other children gazed at the rabbit with unsure faces.

"But as strange as it sounds, for some strange reason; I'm glad that this has happened."

The others gasped in dismay.

"How can you be so heartless!?" Daffy shouted at the rabbit. "My dad got hurt! You're saying that we should be happy that people should get hurt!?"

"That's not what I meant." Chet shook his head as he continued. "Lately, there has been things that made me think about what's going on. My dreams, the song, our parent's getting hurt, the blue and green planet! They all mean something!"

"You had dreams about the planet?" Paris inquired.

"Lily never told you?" Chet asked back. "I thought she told you."

Lily blushed as she innocently turned around a bit. Then Peter raised his hand up.

"D-di- Didn't that boss alien s-say s-something a-a-about our p-p-parent's homeland?" Peter stuttered.

"Yeah," Lily answered. "That alien said that mommy was feeling home sick."

"Do you know what this means?" Chet jumped onto the log. "Our parents don't really live here. They used to live on that planet!"

"Wow!" Speed gaped. "I wonder why our parents never told us about it."

"From what we saw yesterday, they were really scared of that mean alien." Prunella recalled.

"Then it's decided then." Chet declared. "We are going to take our parents back to their home land. We are going to go to that planet!"

"Wait a minute." Artie interrupted the climax. "Don't you think we should plan this first?"

"Didn't you see my dad getting hurt!?" Danny snapped. "We all saw it and we were all scared! I say we all leave this planet right now!"

"Now hold on Danny." Chet said calmly. "Artie's right. We can't just find a spaceship and get everyone off the planet now. We have to at least think about this before we do anything."

"What!?" The mallard exclaimed. "You're saying we should leave later!? But if we don't leave now, then more and more people will get hurt!"

"We know that Danny." Prunella said. "But we need to know what we're gonna do first."

"Well if we're gonna go later, then I'm gonna go to that planet with my family now!" Danny snarled.

Suddenly Lily ran into the middle of the arguement.

"Please stop!" She cried as everyone fell silent. "If we keep fighting like this then we'll never get off this planet."

She then turned to Danny.

"Danny. You can't just find a spaceship and get everyone off this planet. We have to do some planning. And if we can do it quickly, then soon we'll be going to that blue and green planet. Just give Chet a chance. Please?"

Danny screwed his face up until he pouted in annoyance.

"Alright." He grumbled. "We'll make a plan. Just do it quickly okay?"

Chet and Artie nodded their heads.

"I promise you we'll find a way to get us and our parent's off this planet and back to the blue and green one." Chet promised.

"Then that's settled then. We're gonna do this!" Prunella announced.

"All for one and one for all!" Speed cried out in excitement.

Everyone cheered as they punched the air with their arms.
______________________________________________________

"Okay. First of all, we need to make a list of what we need to go into space." Chet said as he and Lily walked down the path towards the shanty town. "So what do we need then?"

"We probably need a spaceship first of all." Lily started. "Then we might need some food so we won't starve."

Both of the rabbits looked up towards the corregated houses until they heard a scream. Lily clung onto her brother.

"What was that Chet?" She wimpered.

"I don't know." Chet said in a scared tone. "But that scream came from over there."

"That's where our house is!" Lily shrieked.

"Come on!" Chet grabbed her hand. "Lets go see what's going on!"

They both started to run as fast as they can towards their house to find out what the scream was for.

Chapter 10

The children ran towards their house as fast as they could, panting frantically. They knew screams wouldn't just come from no where unless there was a reason to do so. They turned a corner and ran straight towards their house. But just as they were about to reach it, they stopped suddenly when they saw the red nerdluck Nada and the other blue one Void stepping out of the house, wiping their hands together and chuckling to themselves.

So Chet dragged his sister behind another corregated iron house so they could be out of their view. They took deeps breaths of air as they turned their heads around the house every few seconds to check that they were gone so the children weren't seen. They checked for one last time a few seconds later to see the two Nerdlucks disappearing from their view. This was the signal to run back towards their own house as fast as they could to investigate the scream.

Once they finally approached the house, they swung the door open and ran through the tunnel to see what was going on.

By the time they reached the dining area, Chet and Lily froze in their positions, with their eyes wide open. Broken pieces from plates and fragile things were scattered all over the room. The table and chairs were turned over upside down with some of the legs missing from two of the chairs. What they glared at was the destruction of what those two Nerdlucks that they have seen only moments ago.

Chet snapped out of this overwhelming suprise and turned to find Bugs consoling Lola who was crying quietly. Chet and Lily approached them. But on closer inspection, fear and concern crossed both of the children's faces as they saw some sticky red stains on both their parents. Blood. Lily hid behind her brother as he opened his mouth.

"D-Dad. What happened in here?" The boy asked. But he felt it was an obvious question he asked. So he was going to expect an obvious answer from his father.

"Kids." His father started. "Get some of your stuff together and you can sleep round one of your friend's home tonight."

"But what happened to mom?" Lily whimpered. "She's hurt."

"Just do as your father says. Please." Lola stammered covering her face with her bloody hands.

The children felt that they had no choice but to obey their parent's wishes and ran into their bedrooms to gather their stuff up and leave the destruction of what once was their innocent family home.
______________________________________________________

Micheal sat on the cardboard box, gazing up to the sky, wishing and believing that he could return back to the planet he called home. Planet Earth. How he would do anything just to glimpse at his family once again. Unlike the Looney Tunes, he couldn't take his family with him.

For one thing they weren't even there supporting him in the animated basketball game. And even if they were there, he didn't think none of them could comprehend the belief that they were actually sitting with some cartoon characters. His children would have loved the experience, but his wife would have probably found it very surreal and would probably think that she was in a dream.

But at least he knew that his family wasn't suffering from lack of freedom and constant work. At least they were alright.

It wasn't until some shuffling of some feet snapped him out of his homesick thoughts and saw Sylvester Jr slowly approaching his caravan. Micheal stood up from the box and strolled up to the cat to see if he was injured. The cat was still limping a bit. But he wasn't in too much pain. So he decided to see if he can limp all the way to the cardboard boxes without collapsing suddenly. He managed to make it minutes later. So Micheal sat down with him

"How's your leg healing? Better?" The man asked as Sylvester Jr tilted his head to his face.

"It's getting better." The cat replied back.

He then stared down at the ground with a sad face. Micheal observed this and knew something wasn't right.

"Something's wrong." He said.

"You wouldn't like it." Sylvester told him.

"Why wouldn't I like it?" Micheal inquired. "You've managed to say things that maybe I'm the only person that you told it to. You apologised for things that I didn't even know or hear what you did or said about me and other things. Surely this is the same."

Sylvester Jr shook his head.

"No. This is different. This is more difficult to say to you than any other thing that I have said so far. It's difficult because I know you're not gonna like it."

The cat glimpsed at the man.

"Would you want to hear it anyway?"

Micheal gave a hesitant nod. Whatever Sylvester Jr or anyone would say to him didn't really affect his mood in general.

"Go on."

The cat looked down onto the ground.

"Micheal. I'm giving up."

"Giving up what?" The man said with confusion on his face.

"I'm going give up believing that we can get off this planet. It's impossible."

Micheal frowned.

"So after what we talked about ever since we got here; our home, the people, the freedom, you're just gonna put your hands up to the aliens and say "I surrender"?"

"If you've got a better idea, then say it now." Sylvester challenged him.

Micheal gave a deep sigh.

"You know? It's not an idea as such. But it's something you've gotta keep in your mind."

"I'm listening." The cat said, waiting for the other part of the arguement.

"When I played basketball, not everything went according to plan. Sometimes we have good games, and sometimes we have bad ones. But just because we have a bad game, doesn't mean to say that we'd throw in the towel and accept that the bad game is a bad game. We'd do our best to turn the bad game into a good game. Whether or not it got better or worse, if you keep believing there is something out there, don't give up on it."

Micheal saw that Sylvester Jr still looked unconvinced, so Micheal smiled down upon him.

"When I first met you upon this planet, you told me how you'd gather everyone up and fly all the way back onto earth by a spaceship. You were more optimistic then, even when things got tough."

"But that was a long time ago!" Sylvester Jr snapped. "This is now! Everything we ever talked about was pointless and stupid! There's no way that I can do that now!"

"And that's why I never got angry or frustraited with you." Micheal added. "While all the other toons were drowning in depression, you were the only one who had the courage to still believe there is a way to go home."

"But there isn't a way!" The cat bellowed at him. "The Nerdlucks make it impossible for us to do anything! And if we do try something we get hurt for trying to stay with our beliefs!"

"You know? Ghandi, Martin Luther King and Emmileine Pankhurstgot hurt and killed for trying to stay to their beliefs and they managed to do it." Micheal continued. "As you said, this is now. What are we gonna do now?"

Sylvester Jr glared at him for a moment until he got up and started to walk away from Micheal. As Micheal watched the defeated cat disappear around the corner, he gave one deep sigh.

"Now we'll see what difference giving up will make." He mumbled to himself.

Chapter 11

"So who are we gonna ask to sleep round for tonight?" Lily asked Chet as both of the children carried their sleeping things away from their house.

Chet didn't even answer as mixed emotions swirled inside of him. Sadness and guilt because him and Lily both saw their parents hurt, anger and rage because the Nerdlucks attacked them, and the uncertainty and fear because they did not know who might be the alien's next victim after they left their parent's house. All that they both knew was that they had to get everyone off the hellish planet. That did mean everyone when they thought about it.

Chet turned to his little sister. By now, he wondered whether she was thinking or feeling the same emotions as him, or even more. He grabbed her hand tightly.

"Lets go to Moron Hill." He said and before she could object to his announcement, he dragged his sister along the path up towards the hill.

Lily kept whining for him to stop until they finally reached the top of the hill. Chet then rolled his sleeping bag out flat while Lily watched him.

"Chet. I'm scared. Why don't you want to ask if we could sleep round one of our friends?" She stammered while squeezing her stuff tightly.

Chet stopped and turned to look at his frightened sister shivering on the spot. He knew she was scared from the tone of her voice and her face looked as though she was going to burst into tears. He got up from where he placed his sleeping bag and approached her. He wrapped his arms around her and sighed.

"I'm sorry sis." He apologised. "I didn't think you'd be that scared."

"Then why did you do it then?" She inquired.

Chet broke away from Lily and looked up to the starry sky with the blue and green planet still floating in the blackness of space.

"Because I want to see what it's like sleeping under the blue and green planet." He murmured. "I want to feel something from this for some reason."

"Well if you must know, that blue and green planet is called Earth." A mysterious voice came from no-where.

The rabbit's turned around to find the owner of the voice was the black and white in the green jacket and orange trousers they bumped into the other day.

"Sylvester Junior?" Chet whispered to himself.

Lily hid behind Chet in fear that he might try and hurt them. The cat approached the children until he was only about a meter away from them.

"That planet is impossible to reach!" He started. "You may as well give up!"

"But if we stay here, people are going to get hurt!" Chet shot back.

"Only if you disobey the rules!" Sylvester Jr continued. "Lola and Daffy had what was coming to them because they didn't obey the boss! If they had kept in line, then they wouldn't have gotten hurt in the first place!"

"But that's not fair!" Chet countered back. "They were just saying what they think! Them aliens didn't have to go and hurt them like they did! That's why we're gonna get everyone out of here!"

"Oh yeah?" The cat glared at them. "Where are you going to get a spaceship from? You can't just say to the boss; 'Excuse me, but can we take one of your spaceships so we can go home please'? He's less than likely going to let you borrow from one of his spaceships! He'll punish you for doing that!"

"But-"

"Listen kid. I have been trying to escape from this planet too. But now we all know that it's impossible to leave here!" Sylvester Jr declared. "We're all gonna live on this planet forever! And there's no way that you can't change anything! So give up and get ready for your future of show business! Cos that's the only thing all of us would be doing from now on! So there's no way we can ever go back to Earth!"

Lily then stepped in front of her brother and gave a determined frown at the cat.

"Stop it!" She ordered. "I don't us to fight! Maybe you can help us get to the planet! You can show us what to do and-"

"Sylph is right." Chet grumbled from behind her. "We can't do it."

Lily spun around to her brother with a sad look on her face.

"Chet?" She stammered.

"Better do as your brother says." Sylvester Jr turned away from them. "He's making sure you don't get hurt. Go home and go to bed. Be good and good night."

And with that, he disappeared over the hill leaving the two children standing on top of the hill. Chet then packed up his sleeping bag and pulled it onto his back.

"Lily. Lets go."

"But I thought you said you wanted sleep here so you could see the planet." Lily quietly squeaked.

"I've changed my mind." He mumbled back. "Lets go Lily."

"But Chet-"

"Lets go!" He growled as he started to walk away.

Lily stood there for a few seconds in an uncertain stance. Eventually, she started to walk slowly behind him. For once she wasn't walking along the side of her brother. She felt an intense atmosphere hover over the two of them as Lily felt a little fear of how her brother changed opinion because of what Sylvester Jr had said to them. Either way, she didn't like the uncomfortable feelings that she felt inside. Chet was not the brother she knew now.

Chapter 12

The next morning, Danny, Prunella, Peter, Speed, Paris and Spaz waited patiently on the log on Moron Hill for the two rabbits to come. They either twiddled their thumbs, stared down at the ground or even the blue and green planet just pass some time.

"Gee. I wonder where Chet and Lily are this morning." Prunella inquired to the others.

"Maybe their parent's told them to tidy up their rooms." Danny assumed while lying down on the log. "They haven't come in a while."

"But this is our first meeting of Operation Lightyear." Speed said. "They wouldn't have forgotten otherwise."

"Wait! Operation Lightyear!?" Danny sat up on the log quickly and shot a look at the roadrunner. "I thought we were gonna call it Operation Blast Off."

"From what I remember correctly, I swore we called it Operation Space Voyage." Artie added.

"No! It was definately Operation Blast Off!" The young duckling snapped at the coyote.

"Wait! I remember!" Prunella interrupted. "It was Operation Freedom!"

"Was not!" Danny snarled at the piglet.

"Was so!" Prunella shot back.

"Was not!"

"Was so!"

"There isn't gonna be an 'Operation Freedom', 'Blast Off' or any other type of operation." A defiant voice stopped the arguement.

All the other children gave a confused glare at Chet stood with a frown on his face. Lily stood behind him with a sad look on her face.

"B-b-but Chet. I thought we were g-going to have a-eng-eng meeting of how we're g-g-gonna g-get everyone off eng-eng-eng-this p-planet." Peter stuttered nervously.

"Yeah Chet." Paris mumbled. "I thought we were gonna start making a plan."

"Well there isn't going to be any planning." The rabbit continued. "Because there is no way that we can get off this planet and there never will be."

"Chet don't say that." Prunella put her hands on her waist. "We were gonna get everyone free from here. Remember?"

"But everytime we even mention anything about the planet, people are gonna get punished and hurt." Chet said. "And I don't want anything bad happening to us or our parents."

He then turned his back to the group and sighed.

"And from now on... I'm not coming to this hill again."

The other gasped including Lily.

"Chet. You can't-" Lily stammered.

"Yes I can. If I can't see the planet then I can't think about it." Chet announced. "I'll see you guys later."

"Chet!" Paris called.

But Chet ignored the call and carried on walking. Lily sighed sadly at the group as she followed him down, leaving the group exchanging dumbfounded and lost expressions to each other.
____________________________________________________

"Chet. Please think about it." Lily begged him as Chet carried on marching without stopping or giving a reply.

She did her best to keep up with his unusually fast pace of walking and tried to talk to him again.

"If you give up now, do you think it would be right? Just giving up only because someone else said it was impossible?" Lily tried again.

Still she got no reply. Finally she had enough and stood in front of Chet and gave him a angry glare.

"Why are you acting like this!?" Lily snapped. "You never acted as though you were going to give up before! So why now!?"

"Because Sylph is right!" Chet yelled at her. "He's been trying to escape here too! But it's impossible! He's still here! There's no way that we could escape!"

"Hey! What do you think you kids are doing!?"

Lily and Chet suddenly turned their heads to find the owner of the voice. They gasped. It was Zilch and Bupkus. The Nerdlucks. Chet grabbed Lily's hand and started to run away from the monstrous figures that started chasing them. The children huffed and puffed, only looking back every so often to see if the Nerdlucks was still running behind them. The chase continued along the corregated houses as the children frantically turned corners to try and lose them. But try as they can, the monsters still followed them. Tears ran down both of the rabbit's cheeks.

"Chet! I'm scared!" Lily cried. "I can't run anymore!"

Chet was about to reply when they were suddenly snatched from their place and disappeared from the path. The orange and purple Nerdlucks stopped and skidded on the ground. They looked around to see where the rabbits have suddenly disappeared. They looked around for a minute before finally giving up their search and walked slowly in the other direction, growling and grumbling in disappointment.
_______________________________________________________

Chet and Lily panted frantically as they felt a pair of hands covering their mouths. The figure who snatched them away from the chase didn't say a word. The two rabbit's hot tears continued to trail down their cheeks. They were both scared. They waited for the figure to make their next move. Finally, the hand's pulled away from the children's hands. They both gave deep breaths to get some air back into their lungs. Chet and Lily turned around to find the person who grabbed them at the last minute. Both of their eyes widened.

"Sylph?" Chet gasped.

Sylvester Jr pressed his finger on his mouth and shushed them both. He peered around the corner just one more time before he faced them again.

"Follow me." He instructed them.

He started running to another corregated metal house and stopped. Chet and Lily exchanged puzzled expressions to each other but felt that it was the only thing to do. Whether they did trust him or not, they felt that they were going to be led to safety. So they ran in the same direction as the cat and followed him down the path. Where he was going to lead them to, they didn't know. They just hoped that they didn't have to bump into the Nerdlucks again.

Chapter 13

Chet and Lily followed Sylvester Jr further down the paths and alleyways between the houses. Twisting and turning into unfamiliar areas, the children still continued to follow the cat until they finally came out into an open area with a grubby looking caravan in front of them. Chet looked back from where they came out of, and gazed at the uninviting darkness within it.

"Come on!" Sylvester Jr called to the children.

Both of the rabbits turned around to see him waving at them to come with him and sure enough, they obeyed without any hesitation.

They slowly walked towards the caravan until the door opened. Both of the children froze when they saw a black, human man step out. The human stopped to see he had more visitors than he expected. Sylvester Jr stepped forward.

"I found them being chased by Nerdlucks." The cat explained to him. "I had to help them out and get them to safety."

The man nodded as if to agree with him and give the children permission to come closer. Sylvester Jr started to march towards the children gave them a cold stare.

"His name is Micheal Jordan." He said. "Treat him with respect."

Chet and Lily watched the cat march out into the alleyway they just came out from, into the darkness. They turned around the other direction to find the man named Micheal calling them over. Remembering what the cat told them, they slowly approached the man until they looked at each other, face to face. Micheal smiled as he patted on a cardboard box.

"Sit here." He smiled to them.

Chet and Lily climbed onto the box as the man sat down with them. As the rabbits gazed up to him uncertainly, he gave them a smile again.

"So you must be Bugs and Lola's children." Micheal said surely.

The children gave faces of disbelief.

"How did you know?" Chet exclaimed.

The man chuckled.

"I can tell just by looking at you." He replied.

Micheal tilted his head up to the sky blanketed with glowing stars.

"I hear that Lola sang a song based on some dreams you've been having. Am I right?"

Chet stared down at the ground.

"I suppose so."

Micheal turned to the rabbit again.

"Tell me about these dreams." He said.

At first Chet didn't say anything until Lily interupted the conversation.

"They're so fantastic sir! The sky was blue, and the grass and trees were green and there was loads of coloured flowers and butterflies everywhere!" She gushed in excitement. "Everybody that we know was in there and we were really happy!"

"But then it all disappeared." Chet finally mumbled.

Lily looked at Chet with a down-hearted expression.

"Disappeared?" She dropped her smile.

"Everything and everyone started disappearing into a white place." He explained. "I tried to get everything back to the way it was, but it was no use. I was standing in a land of whiteness around me."

"W-Why didn't you tell me this before?" Lily grumbled.

Chet gave a deep sigh.

"I didn't want you to feel so sad." He mumbled again.

"Sometimes, the truth does hurt." Micheal spoke between their conversation. "But sometimes, you've just got to learn to accept that and carry on."

"So what do you think my dreams mean?" Chet asked the man.

Micheal looked up to the stars again.

"I think what it means is that no matter what you imagine, you're still stuck in this reality." He answered.

"Oh." Chet sighed in disappointment as he hung his head down.

"But Chet. Don't give up on your dreams." Micheal continued. "They will come true if you make them come true."

"But how?" Chet asked. "We can't just find a spaceship and fly away from here just like that!"

Micheal laughed.

"You know? You remind me of Sylph when he was your age. He used to say the same hopes and dreams that you had."

Chet and Lily blinked at each other.

"You mean he used to dream about the place Chet kept dreaming of?" Lily inquired.

"He didn't just dream about it." Micheal said. "We both used to live there."

"What!?" Chet exclaimed. "You and Sylph lived where our parents were too!?"

Micheal nodded.

"We talked about it all the time." He carried on. "And you know what? He always kept these promises to protect and rescue everyone on this planet and get them back to Earth."

Micheal then paused for a moment just to take in another breath of air.

"But he's kept too many promises and because of that, he gave up."

Chet and Lily glanced at each other sadly. Chet then gave a determined frown and turned to face Micheal.

"I'll take one of Sylph's promises and keep it for him!" He announced. "I'll promise to everyone that we'll find a spaceship and get back to Earth! Where we all belong!"

"Are you sure you can do it?" Lily said with an unsure face.

"I'm sure if he wants to, then he can." Micheal smiled at her.

"Then that's it then." Chet declared as he jumped off the cardboard box that he was sitting and and glimpsed at the stars above him. "I'm gonna help Sylph get everyone back to Earth so we can all be happy again!"

"Then may God bless you and good luck." Micheal nodded his head in respect to that statement.

"Thanks Micheal." Chet nodded back as he took one more glance at the sky with planet Earth in his view, as a target and goal of salvation.

Chapter 14

Sylvester Jr marched through a dark alleyway between some corregated metal houses. Constantly, he was looking around incase the Nerdlucks tried to delay his journey. He then suddenly started running in a particular direction. Skidding around the corners, he navigated his way through the paths until he came to a clearing where he recognised the path towards a hill. Without hesitation, he ran across the path up the hill towards the top.

His paced slowed down to a walk after he finally got to the top of the hill. As he panted, he strolled towards a log sitting on the grass. As he took his seat on the log, he gazed up to a glowing blue and green planet in the black sky. Sylvester Jr fixed his eyes on the glowing marvel in front of him. He felt that it had been such a long time since he last saw the planet. His breathing became more quiet and his heart rate slowed down to his normal pace. Everything around him became calm until he heard a stick snap. His head pricked up and turned around to see who stepped on the twig. He stood up from his place and spun around more.

"Sylph?"

Sylvester Jr turned around to find Chet and Lily standing before him.

"What are you doing on Moron Hill?" Sylvester Jr asked the children. "I thought you were meant to be with Micheal."

"Wait." Chet stopped him. "How do you know about Moron Hill?"

"What?" The cat screwed up his face. "I used to play here, just like you kids do now. In fact, I was the one who named this place."

Chet and Lily glanced at each other and then looked back at him.

"So you used look at Earth all the time too then?" Chet assumed to him.

Sylvester reluctantly nodded his head and sat down on the log and gazed up to the sky.

"I didn't just look at Earth," Sylvester said. "I looked at my home too."

"Your home." Lily repeated what Micheal told them.

"When I was little, I used to come here all the time and look at Earth, wishing, hoping, and waiting for they day that we all could go home to Earth again." Sylvester Jr recalled. "But since Mr Swackhammer wasn't ever going to let us go back home easily, I made a promise to Micheal and everyone else who was trapped here. I promised that one day, I'll find a spaceship big enough to fit all of us in, and blast off back to Earth so we can live in peace."

But then the cat looked down to the ground in disappointment.

"But I couldn't keep the promise as well as I was confident with it." He continued. "The Nerdlucks and Mr Swackhammer did the best they can to make sure I couldn't keep my promise. Those miserable-!"

He stopped himself from swearing in front of the young children by hitting his fist on the log hard. Chet and Lily approached his and held his hand.

"Maybe you couldn't keep your promise was because you were doing too much for us." Lily gave him a smile.

Sylvester Jr gave a puzzled expression at the children.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well you had to look after your dad, us and our parents. And trying to fufil that promise at the same time." Chet explained. "If you take on too much for everyone then you're not going to feel well and you'll fall ill."

"But if you let us keep one of the promises that you made, then you'll find life a bit easier to live in." Lily gave a warm smile again.

"I can't give promises to people so that I can live easier!" The cat snarled. "Not everyone will be taken care of!"

"But Sylph!" Chet whined. "You're always thinking about everyone else except yourself! If you keep running around for other people, then you're gonna get sick!"

"And we don't want you to feel sick!" Lily added.

"So if you give one of your promises to us, then you can get on with other things that you want to do instead of constantly running around for other people." Chet negotiated as he extended his hand out to Sylvester Jr. "So will you do it? Give us one of your promises?"

Sylvester Jr glared at the hand. No-one in his entire life has ever told him that they'd help him out with anything. He was always having to do things himself. Whether it was getting himself or anyone else something, no-one had ever offered to help him. The cat felt speechless until he gave a grin to the children.

"You know? I have a better idea." He said to the children, who already smiled in excitement.

The next morning, Prunella, Danny, Peter, Paris, Spaz, Speed and Artie sat either on or around the log, whatever they felt like. But either way, they didn't have the energy to get up and do something. Silence hung in the air. There wasn't even a buzz for them to gaze up to the planet once more.

"Now what do we do?" Prunella inquired to the others.

"We c-c-could always g-g-go b-back home." Peter stuttered.

"But what if the aliens are there and they start hurting our parents again?" Artie objected.

Everyone sighed of boredum. Suddenly they heard footsteps coming towards them. The children turned around to see the owner of the footsteps. Their eyes widened in disbelief.

"Chet!?" They all gaped.

"I thought you said you wouldn't come here again!" Danny shouted.

The boy rabbit nervously laughed while scratching behind his head as Lily clung onto his other spare hand. But the others also noticed a new guest standing behind them. Paris stepped in front of everyone else and stared at the teenage cat.

"Um... Chet. Who is he with you?" The skunk asked.

"This is Sylvester Jr." Chet introduced the cat. "He's gonna help us get everyone off this planet and back to Earth."

"Uh, hello?" Danny frowned. "What happened to giving up on the whole idea?"

"I apologise for making Chet make that disgraceful mistake." Sylvester Jr explained. "But now I- We all believe we can free ourselves and our parents from the tyrany and slavery of Mr Swackhammer."

"Really!?" Speed gasped in excitement.

"Of course!" Chet smiled confidently.

"But first, we must make a plan of action." Sylvester Jr declared.

All the children gathered around in a huddle, ready for the discussion that could transform their lives forever.

Chapter 15

Bugs slowly shuffled his feet past the table, where he gave a pitiful gaze at Lola with her head buried in her arms.

She had been crying ever since their children saw the destruction. And now it was her concern for them not coming back since yesterday. They both knew well that they sent Chet and Lily to sleep round one of their friends. But they both feared that something may have happened to them like getting lost or maybe confronting the Nerdlucks.

Bugs decided to console her by sitting next to her where she sat and wrap his arms around her. She then buried herself into his chest and held onto him too while crying quietly.

"Oh Bugs." She sobbed. "I know they've gone round their friend's house. But what if they bump into the Nerdlucks? They're only children. They haven't done anything wrong. They don't deserve to get hurt."

"It's alright Lola." Bugs cooed her. "I'm sure they'll be back."

As if on cue, both of the rabbits heard little tiny patters of feet. Lola turned her head around to see if it was the children. The pattering taps turned into more thundering steps as two small figures were revealed under the light. Lola let go of her husband and recognised the figures.

"Chet! Lily! You're safe!"

Both mother, son and daughter embraced each other. Lola cried even more tears onto them as Bugs gave a reassuring smile upon them. Just as Lily looked up she saw a bandage on her mother's left cheek.

"Mom. What happened to your cheek?" She asked innocently.

Lola's hand floated up to her bandaged cheek.

"I hurt it myself." She replied.

"Mom." Chet whined. "You don't have to lie about what happened. The truth maybe painful but you can't just hide it away just to protect people. Them monsters did this to you. We know how they are. They are bad and you don't have to lie about that."

Lola and Bugs gave dumbfounded glances at each other.

"Where did you get that from?" Bugs inquired.

"It doesn't matter." Chet shook his head and then took his mother's hand. "We want to show you something."

"What is it?" Lola asked in confusion.

"We'll take you there." Lily said as she tugged on their father too.

Their parents felt they had no choice but to follow their children to see what they wanted to show them. They were pulled out of the door and up the path towards a hill. They huffed and puffed up the hill until they got to the top.

Both Lola and Bugs realised that their friend's parents were there too, gazing at the blue and green planet in the black sky. Both rabbits walked towards the crowd as they stopped to be entranced by the marvel in the sky.

"That... that is Earth." Lola panted.

"Our home..." Bugs added.

Just then all the parents were interupted by a big whistle. They all turned to face Chet standing on the log.

"Listen!" Chet demanded. "You don't have to lie to us anymore about the injuries to you, the monsters and Earth anymore. We know the truth. We know that you used to call this planet your home. We know you used to live in it. And we know that you all miss it. And we all know that you want to be back there. But with the aliens telling you what to do and hurting you, that hasn't happened. That's because we're all scared of them. But if we face our fears and the monsters, we can go back to Earth and live how we want to. We can even do it tonight!"

"But we can't do that! That's too soon!" Daffy objected as the other parents mumbled in agreement. "We can't just ask Swackhammer to let us go! Them Nerdlucks will beat us black and blue!"

"Not if they don't know." A new voice appeared as they climbed on top of the log.

Chet gave a suprised expression to see Sylvester Jr standing besides him. The cat quickly tilted his head to to the rabbit as he gave him a secret smile. Chet smiled back as Sylvester Jr looked back up to the audience.

"You're right Daffy. We can't just ask them to let us go." The teenager started. "But you're wrong about the fact about escaping. We can do it. We just haven't tried together. I should know. I've tried to get everyone out of here by myself. But I only got beaten into a pulp. But if we work together, we can get past the Nerdlucks and Mr Swackhammer and leave this planet to go back to Earth. No wait. We can go back home. Where we truly belong. So who's willing to fight for their freedom?"

At first, there was complete silence. But Sylvester Sr stood up and raised his arm.

"I want to help fight for freedom!" He proclaimed.

"I will too!" Bugs punched the air.

"And me!" Lola agreed.

Soon, a whole Mexicain wave of Looney Tunes raised their arms in the air and cheered. Chet and Sylvester Jr glanced at each other and gave each other broad smiles. Amongst all the cheering, they heard some clapping. They both turned to the same direction to find Micheal Jordan applauding them with a smile across his face. The boys then gave each other determined expressions. The time was now. The time where they are ready to fight in a war for freedom.

Chapter 16

After everyone rushed back home to pack their things, Chet and Lily was walking back to their house to do the same with their heads held high. After all this time of waiting on Moron Mountain, everyone was finally going to go back to where they truly belong.

Lily glanced up to Chet and gave him a smile and he exchanged another one to her after he saw her hopeful face. Just as they were about to take another step, they heard someone call their name. Both rabbits turned around to see Sylvester Jr running towards them. They stopped as they both gave him the chance to approach them and catch his breath. The cat panted for a few moments before he finally looked back up to them and gave them a thankful stare.

"Look. Um... About what happened before this and what was said earlier," He started as he scratched the back of his head with his hand. "I just want to say... thank you, for planting the belief back into me. I really wouldn't have wanted to think what would happen should none of this be happening. And... well, thanks."

Chet and Lily found those words genuine because they could see a pool of tears well up near the corners of Sylvester Jr's eyes. Just then another voice appeared.

"And I would like to say thank you too."

Sylvester Jr turned around to face Micheal smiling down on the youngsters. Chet then noticed Micheal holding onto a round object inside a sports bag. He felt it was strange for him carrying only a minimal amount of things while everyone else was expected to carry a lot of things.

"What's inside that bag Micheal?" The rabbit asked curiously.

Micheal grinned as he put down the black bag delved his hand into it and pulled out an orangey-red round basketball.

"Did you know that this was the ball that we played with in that game against those Nerdlucks?" Micheal said.

"Why have you got it in your bag then?" Lily inquired in a confused tone.

"This basketball held a power that used to belong to my friends back on Earth." The man started to explain. "But the Nerdlucks took it from them and are using it to be who they are."

Chet and Lily's eyes widened.

"You mean like magic powers?" Chet asked in fascination.

Micheal shook his head.

"No. Not like that. It was talent. My friends used to be really good basketball players. But the Nerdlucks stole that talent so they could use it against us."

"On the outside, they are big, muscular, and scary." Sylvester Jr admitted. "But in the inside, they were just small, brainless, and pathetic creatures."

"So they used to be really small? Like us?" Lily emphazised that statement.

"Yes." Micheal nodded. "And to make sure we have more of a chance to escape, by getting them to touch this basketball, all the talent they stole would be absorbed into this ball."

He then threw a chest pass to Sylvester Jr who quickly caught it with both of his hands.

"And that's when you come into it Sylph." Micheal revealed.

Sylvester Jr gave a suprised look at the man.

"But, why me?" He asked.

"Sylph, I was once someone who had as much, even more talent than what the Nerdlucks have with a basketball." Micheal explained. "But my time has come and gone. And now it's your turn."

The cat still kept his shocked expression until he considered it a duty to free his family and friends. He glared a determined look at Micheal and nodded his head.

"I'll do my best." He declared.

Micheal saluted to the cat as he gave the black sports bag to him.

"You'll do everyone proud." He said. "You better start packing your things then. And don't forget about getting that talent back."

Sylvester Jr carefully slipped the ball back into the bag as Micheal turned away from the children. As the man disappeared into the distance, Sylvester Jr watched his departure. The cat then turned back to Chet and Lily who gazed at him waiting for an instruction.

"You heard Micheal." Sylvester Jr gave a broad grin. "We better start packing our things and getting off this planet."

The children nodded their heads in agreement as they ran alongside the teenager back towards the corregated metal houses in the excitement of finally going home.
