We had to have a minutes silence before we played our footy match. My dad told us that at least 2 of our relatives fought in WW1. So yeah. God bless those who fought and died or survived in the war.
We thank those who are with us, We thank those who could not be here, And we shall always remember the dead. Our boys who went over the sea to fight the cause, The boys who lived and died as Heroes.
We thank those who lost their lives, Whether at sea, in the air or out on No Man's land. We should also remember the ones who never came home, The Lads who went to fight but disappeared in the crossfire smoke, The Lads who no one knows where their souls lie.
We are gratful to our lot, the soldiers, the warriors, the Heroes. We shall never forget your courage, your selflessness, your lives. For we, the next generation, we remember your souls, What you did for us to have freedom was words beyond compare, For the poppies that mark your battleground, We will proudly wear them in pride,
For our country, for freedom, For the one's who'll never grow old, For our boys.

Well said Twilight, well said... My grandfather fought in WWII, and, died before I even got to see him. So, yes, let us thank those who fight for us, for, at the moment, they are the ones sacrificing everything they've got to fight for our freedom...
