July 24, 1998... That was the day of the Mansion Incident. A moment that will live on in a select few's minds forever...
In the heart of a large and dark forest, a large, abandoned mansion sat in the middle of it all. It was also in the area where all of those grizzly murders ocurred in the Arklay Mountains. As a precaution, the government sent in a group of specialy trained team called S.T.A.R.S. Special Tactics and Rescue Squad.
They sent Bravo Team first. This team consisted of Ace Bunny, Rev Runner, and Danger Duck. Unfortuantly, they were never heard from since their arrival... So, the government stepped it up a bit. They ordered Alpha Team to the mansion. This team was Lexi Bunny and Tech E. Coyote.
The pair traveled in a helicopter to the mansion, landing about a half a mile in the woods.
"Alright... You ready, Lexi?" Tech asked, checking his ammo, gun and knife for inventory.
Lexi, jumped out of the copter, nodding at Tech. "Yeah... Let's go..."
The chopper took off, leaving them behind.
While the pair were walking in the woods, an eerie mood lingered in the air.
"I don't have a good feeling about these woods..." Lexi commented, her gun out in front of her.
Tech held out his gun as well. "Well, yeah. It isn't the best place to take a stroll, don'cha think?" he asked sarcasticly.
Lexi just sighed.
After a minute or two of walking about towards the mansion, growling noises came from behind them. The pair froze, slowly turning around towards the sound, their guns out.
"What is that...?" Lexi asked.
In front of them, were a group of monstrous dogs chowing down on a dead animals body. Lexi froze, her eyes windening and her trigger finger getting itchy. One of the dogs looked up towards the two. Then, it charged for Lexi.
"Ah-!" Lexi fell backwards.
Right before the dog made its attack, Tech fired, shooting it in the head. The rest of the group looked up at the two and slowly began their charge.
"Come on!!!" Tech yelled, helping Lexi up and running.
"I-I can see the mansion!" Lexi yelled, running faster.
"GO GO GO!" Tech yelled as they ran as fast as they could.
They quickly ran through and shut the iron gate behind them, quickly locking it. The dogs jumped onto the gate, trying to break through.
"Base, this is Alpha Team! Come in!" Tech said as they began for the front door.
There was silence.
"Base, this is Alpha Team! Come in...! Damnit... Just like Bravo Team..." Tech said.
The huge mansion door shut behind Lexi and Tech. As the two looked around, they found that the mansion was still up and running, but with no occupants. It was very elegant and gave a peaceful vibe. Although, peaceful was the last thing they were gonna get out of this mansion.
Tech reloaded his gun and held it up. "The Dining Room's this way. I'm gonna go check it out." he said, starting to walk to the door.
"It's too dangerous. I'm going with you." Lexi said, following.
Tech turned the knob and opened it, quickly aiming his gun in front of him. "It's pretty quiet in here..." he commented, walking around slowly.
Lexi followed suit. "I know... I don't see any baddies..." she said as she looked up at the hallway above them, not seeing anything there either.
Suddenly, they heared a 'biteing' sound coming from the next room. They quickly aimed at the hallway next to them.
"What's that...?" Lexi whispered.
Tech made a head gesture and they slowly went up to the corner of the wall. With their backs against the wall, Tech made another head gesture. They both ran a little ways down the hall and aimed their guns. There was someone or someTHING eating a dead body.
"S-S.T.A.R.S here. Put your hands up!" Tech said, a little frightened.
"T-Tech. Look who it's eating...!" Lexi pointed down at the body.
"No...! Duck!" Tech and Lexi's eyes widened immensely.
The creature stood up and turned towards the pair. It slowly walked over to them. In their instincts, they took it down with their guns.
"What are these things? And look what they've done to one of the Bravo Team members...!" Lexi said.
"It's too late anyway... We have to keep moving..." Tech said calmly as they stepped over the dead Danger Duck and continued on.
"Something's very odd about this mansion..." Lexi commented.
"No kidding. I don't think this is just someone's summer home." Tech said sarcasticly.
"I know. This mansion is in the area where all of those murders happened. There has to be some connection." she said.
"It just keeps getting stranger and stranger, but I think you're right." he said.
"Nooo!" A voice yelled, followed by a few gunshots.
Wow. Very interesting. MORE! *has dizzy spell and faints*
Cassidy: Okay, who gave her cheese this time?

They ran down the hall and opened the door into the next room. The first thing they was Rev, Ace, and a few dead zombies. Rev quickly turned his head over to Tech and Lexi.
"You made it! Thank goodness!" Rev said.
Rev's outfit was a little different than the others. Rev wore a green T-Shirt with a white vest that read on the front and back: "Rescue" with a Red Cross. Tech wore a white T-Shirt with a green vest that read: "S.T.A.R.S" on the back. Lexi wore a blue T-Shirt with dark blue armor pads on her shoulder. On her head was a S.T.A.R.S beret. Ace wore an orange T-Shirt with a S.T.A.R.S patch on the sleeve. They all had green pants except for Lexi. She wore blue.
"Oh my god..." Lexi said as she looked down at Ace.
Ace was badly wounded. Blood was dripping from his shoulder and his leg. He layed against the wall for support.
"I know... I've been helping him ever since he got hurt." Rev said.
"Stay here. We'll continue on with our mission and we'll leave you some suppiles until he feels better." Tech said.
Rev nodded. "Ok..." he said.
"Come on, Lexi. Let's move." Tech started walking.
They finally reached the outside of the mansion. It was dark and rainy. They treaded along the balconies of the mansion.
"Rev, come in." Tech said.
"I'm here..." Rev said.
"How's Ace?" he asked.
"Uhh... He left us..." he replied in a scared tone.
Tech dropped the radio. His best friend? Gone? It can't be... Lexi quickly grabbed the radio.
"But, that's not all he did..." Rev added.
"What do you mean...?" Lexi asked.
Suddenly, Ace came around the corner of the wall. He was rotting and his teeth were showing. Tech and Lexi's eyes widened.
"Ace! oh, no..." Lexi commented, holding her gun up.
Tech had tears coming out of his eyes. Not only had Ace died, but he turned on them as well! This was Tech's nightmare. Tech slowly held his gun up and pointed at Ace. He REALLY didn't want to shoot him.
"Ace... I-I'm sorry, man..." Tech sniffed.
His gun shook in his hand. He couldn't aim right. He almost dropped his gun, but he kept on aiming. Ace started to charge for him. Suddenly, a shot rang out in his ears. It came from Lexi's handgun. The bullet flew straight through Ace's head, sending him falling to the ground. Tech just stared down at Ace's dead and zombified body. Seconds felt like days. He lost the only person he could ever really talk to.
"Tech... Let's go..." Lexi stepped over Ace's body.
brilliant story, though it is gunna be hard to get that scene outta my mind's eye. Ace, wounded, turns into a zombie, then is killed by Lexi. *shivers nervously at thought* Wow...
"I got word that there was something going on underground. Maybe we should check it out?" Lexi asked, reloading her gun.
"Like what?" Tech asked, looking at her.
"Well, one thing I DO know is that they were conducting some sort of huge experiment. Like a weapon of some kind. Bio-weapons." she replied.
"Uh-oh...I think S.T.A.R.S is catching on..." Tech thought. "R-Really? Maybe we should check it out." Tech said, opening the door to go back inside the mansion.
A sly grin crossed Tech's face for a moment. He had thought up a brilliant plan on a moments notice. They entered what seemed to be a lab of somekind underground. Like a hive. It looked like Tech's handiwork, but Lexi didn't take notice. This was good for Tech.
"Wow, you're right... This IS wierd..." Tech said, holding up his gun.
"Yeah, I know..." she replied.
They reached the very bottom. What lied in that next room would change the whole story. They walked in, Tech picking up a nearby clipboard that was marked: "New Weapon".
"Is that the new Bio-weapon?" Lexi asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." Tech said as he looked up at the new experiment being held in the large container.
"Oh my god..." Lexi stepped back a little, horrified by the site of the monster.
Tech quickly grabbed the shotgun that was on his back and aimed it at Lexi. A grin was creeping its way across Tech's face.
"I call him Tyrant..." Tech said, letting out an evil chuckle.
"W...What...?" Lexi was starstuck. Tech? Turn on S.T.A.R.S?
"What are you talking about, Tech...?" she asked.
"I knew S.T.A.R.S was a brilliant source for gathering research data. I loved how my progress went, all of my B.O.W's fighting against trained combatants." Tech explained, moving over to the case Tyrant was in.
"You...You set the team up...!" Lexi said with anger.
"Excellent deduction, Lexi... And now that I have my data... prepare for your nightmare..." he said, laughing.
Tech pulled out a small switch. He pressed the button, making a beeping noise. The giant heart that was on Tyrant started beating. Lexi gasped and backed away a little.
"It's beautiful..." Tech said.
Moments later, Tyrant's claw arm smashed through the case, stabbing Tech in the chest.
"Agh!!!" Tech was lifted into the air and thrown across the large room, flying into the wall.
He fell, lifeless. Lexi slowly backed away from the monster, preparing for a hard fight...
Oh Mah God! This is so... so... wow! There should be a better word but thats all I can come up with at the moment.
And you were right. Your story does seem to have a 'screw-with-your-head' style to it. I mean, with the others dead (or zomies),Tech being evil and Lexi having to fight that... that... thing, it makes it real interesting. Plz keep it up!
Lexi's eyes bounced from one side of the room to the other, looking for a way out. She saw that the door was behind her. Before the monster could do anything, she darted out. A voice came over her radio.
"This is Rev! If anyone's out there, answer me! I can get you out of here. Just head to the roof! Again, if anyone is in that mansion, get to the roof!" Rev shouted.
"The roof...!" Lexi thought as she began her ascent to the top.
After 5 minutes, she opened the door that led to the rooftops. She was finally safe and began awaiting Rev's arrival. Suddenly...
A loud roar came from the floor she was standing on. The Tyrant leaped onto the rooftop, smashing right through the ceiling. Lexi gasped, jumping away and holding her pistol up. She had no idea how to defeat something like that with her pistol.
"Lexi! Is that you?! What is that thing?! Just hang on!" Rev yelled from the radio.
"It's too windy! It's hard to get any closer!" he added.
She fired, trying to see if she could destory that monsters heart. It grabbed her and started choking her.
"Ack..." she let out, blasting it in the face a few times.
It dropped her and she ran to the other side. Suddenly, something dropped right next to her. An MRL (Rocket launcher). She looked up to see Rev waving down.
"Lexi! Use that and take out whatever that thing is!" Rev said.
She picked it up and ran to a safe place to fire. Lifting the heavy machine, she took aim. A loud blast came from the MRL, a rocket hurdling towards the Tyrant.
It was over. The heart exploded and the monster flew off of the roof.
"Whew..." Lexi sighed as she put down the MRL.
"Ace, Duck... Tech... That bastard..." Lexi thought.
A ladder fell from the chopper, Lexi climbing aboard. As the chopper carrying Lexi and Rev inside left the mansion, they flew into the distance.
"That's it... Umbrella's going down..." Lexi said, taking off her beret and whipping her hair out of her face.
In the basement, a broken case and a lifeless Tech layed in the lab. Tech's eyes opened, an Umbrella Corporation insignia flashing in his iris'.

(Uh-oh! Tech is still alive, but not himself! I smell a sequel!)
*faints* That was the most freaky story I've ever read. Freaky in a good way, that is. But, you made Tech the bad guy! NOOOO!!!!!
