Ace on a hot date! That wasn't like Ace at all. Especially before noon. He usually spent the mornings playing videogames and munching on pop tarts. What the heck was going on? Was it something in the air?

Lexi sniffed the air. Hey! It WAS something in the air! It was saturated with the smell of a strange female. Lexi growled. Who's been encroaching on my territory? Using her sensitive bunny nose, Lexi determined that the smell was drifting in through the window. She ran outside, turned slowly around three times, and pointed her nose Northeast. That's where it's coming from, she thought.

Meanwhile, at the source of the pheromones, Jezebel's apartment, Jezebel was enjoying the best foot rub of her life. "Don't stop," she said. "I could feel this forever."

But the line of other men outside Jezebel's door were getting impatient. "Open up! I put on my best clothes to come here! Why are you keeping us waiting?"

"Shut up!" said Danger. "The Loonatics are with Jezebel now. The rest of you go away!"

"We can't! The pheromones are too strong."

"Wear nose clips or something!"

"Nose clips? That's not a bad idea. It's easy to see why everyone says: Call the Loonatics when you have a problem."

Danger and Rev and Tech and Ace returned to their pleasuring of Jezebel, but there was another knock on the door.

"Now what?" Tech called.

"Where do we get some noseclips?"

Tech jumped up and yelled at the door. "The hardware store. The swimmer's supply store. Wal*Mart. Try a few places."

"Okay," came the voices on the other side of the door. "We'll try."

[Twiga] Lexi found Jezebel's house. She banged on the door.

"Open up Foxface!" Lexi shouted "You've got my friends in there!"

"Annoying pest." Said Jezebel "Slam take care of that nuisance"

The Tasmainan Devil nodded and began his tornado like spinning

Slam was just getting up to speed when Jerzebel yelled "Not in here! Out there!" but it was too late. Books were flying off shelves, the air was filled with flying paper. Everything loose was whirling around and some things that were not previously loose were loosened and twirled... But Slam managed to spin out the door where he ran into Lexi.

"Get off me you, big blowhard!" Lexi said and she brought Slam to a screeching halt with a well-placed bunny kick.

"Ouch!" Slam said. "Jezebel wants you to leave."

"I'm not leaving until I find out what's going on in there! Get out of my way!"

[Twiga] Slam and Lexi just stared at each other for a while. Than Lexi let out a small brain-blast and Slam went into tornado mode.

Meanwhile Ace had a strange feeling deep in his bunny heart, he coulden't be sure what this feeling was but he knew somewhere someone needed him

hmm... looks like Aces love for Lexi may be overiding the pheromones.

Something clicked in Ace Bunny's head. His eyes flipped like a slot machine window until they came up all carrots in a row. "Lexi!" Ace shouted. He realized who needed him.

But Jezebel was alert to defections from her admiring throng. She tightened her gut and a cloud of pheromones filled the room.

"Lexi?" Ace mumbled. It seemed that something had been important to him a moment ago, but now he couldn't remember what it was... Oh yeah! Rub Jezebel's back. That's what it was.

[Twiga] Lexi and Slam were busy in hand-to-hand combat. At first it would seem like Lexi would win, than Slam, either way it looked like this fight would go on forever...

Then suddenly you could hear the sound of a baby's cry...

"Lightning!" Rev gasped "She needs me!"

Jezebel was about to learn that parental instinct has the power to overpower raw lust...

With a quick "Beep beep!" Rev zoomed out of the room to answer the call of his daughter. That broke the spell on the rest of the Loonatics. "Hey!" Danger said. "What the heck are we doing here?"

"I know Lexi needs help," Ace said. He ran to the battle of Slam and Lexi. "Slam!" he yelled. "Slam! You're under the influence of Jezebel's pheromones! Wake up, old buffy!"

"Wha-?" Slam said. "Who? What? Pheromones? Whazzat?"

Ace and Lexi explained pheromones to Slam as his spinning slowed down from a roaring cyclone to a wind tunnel to a household fan and then finally sputtered to a stop. "Pheromones!" Slam said. "Who woulda thunk it?"

[Twiga] Jezebel raged and fumed! This COULDEN'T be happaning! Her precious men her leaving her in flocks!

"I'll be back." She said " Just you wait..."

'And... CUT!" Walt said "OK People that's a wrap our first piolet episodes been completed!"

I'm still having trouble imaging Rev as a father though.

Slam and Tech high-fived each other. "Nice job, bro! You've still got the stuff!"

Lexi tugged Walt's sleeve. "What do you think, Walt? Does the pilot look good?"

"Of course!" Walt said. "You guys are pros. I never expected less than excellence."

"Thanks, Walt."

Jezebel slipped off her wig. "How about me, Walty."

Walt chuckled. Kim Kolby was the name of the actress who played Jezebel on As The Toon Turns and now for the Loonatics pilot. "Kim, baby, you were beautiful. If anybody is the perfect Jezebel, you are." Kim had once been Walt's girlfriend but she was too much woman for him.

"Thanks, Walty." Kim ran one of her fingers down Walt's cheek and touched his lips. "You know it gets me hot when you like what I do."

Beads of sweat popped out on Walt's forehead. He could hear his heartbeat speed up. "Uh.. yeah. Me too. Let's have dinner together tonight."

Kim smiled. "Okay, Walty. For old time's sake. Let's do it."

From her unseen position in the corner of the room, Amanda watched Walt and Kim. Her face hardened into a grim expression.

[Twiga] Amanda wasen't bugged by the fact that Walt and Kim were in love, Oh No, Amanda was celebate and therefore would never fall in love.

What she was really looking at was Kim's mystical charm that she wore around her neck.

Amanda was sure that necklace was something with God-like powers but she coulden't remember where it had come from or what those powers were.

Amanda was torn from her musing when Lexi punched her arm. "Why so glum, chum? Let's celebrate!"

The Loonatics went to Chucky Cheese for pizza and cokes.

Slam got in the kids area and did a twister in the Tub of Balls which sent balls flying everywhere. The manager ran over. "What are you doing? Get out of there!"

Tech ran through the plastic tunnels so fast they melted. Again with the manager: "What are you doing? Get out of there!"

After the Loonatics got thrown out of Chucky Cheese before they could even eat any pizza, they decided to go to Burger King. Amanda shook her finger at Slam and Tech. "But stay out of their kids area! I'm hungry!"

[Twiga]   They went to Burgar king to get burgars. In the meantime Amanda fell asleep in the middle of her meal

Amanda dreamed she was in The Land of The Kangaroos. "Do you mean Australia?" she murmured to herself in her dream. "No, not Australia, another place," her dreaming self answered.

In the dream Amanda lived in a little grass hut by the bank of a crystal clear river. Nearby lived two kangaroos named Hoppy and Poppy. One day Hoppy said, "Poppy, I'm tired of this place. I want to hop away and go somewhere else."

Poppy said, "Don't do it, my son. I know you think there are better places than this, but there aren't. All places are the same. So you might as well try to be happy right where you are."

Hoppy thought about it and said, "Okay, I'll try."

But as the days went by Hoppy was still unhappy. He decided to ask his neighbor Amanda what she thought about it. He knocked on her door, "Amanda! I have something important to discuss with you!"

But Amanda woke up in the Burger King. Tech was knocking on the table by her head. "Amanda! Wake up! I have something important to discuss with you."

[Twiga]   "Amanda." Tech began "You came from the real world didn't you?"

"Yes" Amanda said

"Well I know a way that will turn you into a complete toon and help you live forever as toons do." Tech said "A potent honey has the power to turn mortals into toons forever but at the cost you can never go home again"

"That's fine with me," Amanda said. "I don't want to go home again. I want to live as a toon forever. I'll marry a toon and raise three little toons and live in a toon house in Toonmania and be happy ever after."

Tech stared at her. "You're really into this whole toon scene thing, aren't you?"

"I LOVE toons! I've always loved toons."

"Good for you! I guess since I was born a toon it all seems different to me. Did you know that most toons want to become human?"

"No!" Amanda gasped. "Why would they want that?"

[Twiga] "They want to become human becuase they are curious about what it is like to grow old and die." Tech said "Most toons have a morbid obbsesstion with Death."

Tech got out the bottle of honey...

Amanda stared at the bottle of honey. "Wait," she said. "I want to experience being human fully for one last time before I drink that."

Tech shrugged. "Whenever you're ready..."

"I just need a moment. I know I'm gaining a lot - immortal life and a brighter-colored wardrobe - but what am I losing?"

Tech smiled. "Well... religion, for one thing. Hardly any toons go to church, temple, mosque, or synagogue. The only ones are the toons who do religious cartoons and they all look human, act human, and almost never hang out with other toons. I won'tt say they are shunned, but they don't get invited to many parties."

"That's okay. I'm not very religious as a human, so I don't expect to be as a toon."

"Also," Tech said. "Very few toons are married. Most toons are single. And there is a lot of toon romance but hardly any toon sex."

"Really?" Amanda said. "But it seems toons would have so much freedom to do anything."

"It's not like that. We're all part of a commercial enterprise. They don't ever let you forget that. One of the oldest couples in toonland is Mickey and Minnie and they have never had sex."

Amanda's eyes widened. "Never? That's amazing. Hmmmm... Maybe I haven't thought this through as well as I should."

"Yes, you have to think about what's important to you. I'm not saying you can't have sex as a toon, but it's almost always amateurish and poorly drawn and gets posted on the internet where anybody can see it."

Amanda shuddered. 'The toon life is not quite the paradise I thought it was."

"Why do you think Danger Duck has a drinking problem?"

[Twiga] Amanda reached for the honey and was about to drink it when Danger stopped her.

"Wait! Don't!" The Duck shouted

"Why not?" Amanda asked "Its my life and my choice right?"

"But think about your future!" Danger said "Think about your own toon creations waiting in the wings! If you become a toon those ideas will never come to frutation!"

Amanda haden't thought of that

Sex is horribly drawn and then put on the internet where everyone can see it? Well, I'm just going to stand up for ayelet_ripley here and say her ''you know what'' is certainly not horribly drawn.

But it wouldnt be so cool having your intimacy posted on the internet.

As for this chapter, I thinks its extremely interresting how you go further into the whole real-world toon-world, comparison.

Rev was teaching his daughter, Lightning, how to burp. "Come on, sweet thing, it will make you feel better." He had Lightning draped over his shoulder and he was patting her on the back. She made a little sound.

Ace was watching. "What did she say? It sounded like beerp!"

"That's how a Roadrunner burps," Rave said. "Beerrrp beerrrp!"

Ace shook his head. "Weird."

"So how do bunnies burp?"

"We don't. We just have nose twitching spasms. Eating carrots is very smooth on the digestion. Is it true what they say about what Roadrunners eat?"

"Uhhh, what do they say?"

"Roadkill."

"No comment."

[Twiga] Amanda had come to her desistion. "I won't become a toon. I'll go back to the real world to make my own toon creations."

"That's the spirit!" Walt said "I'm an animator myself so I know how great making toons can be."

That was a really good and interesting story mistress, although I still cant imagine Rev as a father.

If anything I see Slam as more of a father type. Rev is just so young and well... its not that hes feminine, but its like he doesnt have that matured masculine fatherness, if you get what I mean.
