would they officially pair Ace&Lexi... highly probable
Tech&Zadavia, maybe, but still looks pretty iffy since shes not going to be a primary character anymore. IF the show even continues.
Anyother pairing than those, especially the same-sex ones, OUT OF THE QUESTION. It will NEVER happen officially.
As much as I love the Tech&Rev pairing, I wouldnt want them to put it in the show officially. It would'nt be good for the kids. Even though at least every 10th kid is going to grow up to become homo/bi-sexual, soceity just doesnt work that way yet, and especially not with kids shows.
He means that the only thing that can happen is that Ace and Lexi could become a couple in terms of love. And he also means that Tech and Zadavia as a couple might not happen because Zadavia won't appear as much if the show continues.

i dont think there gunna go any farther than a worried lexi and a hug because i dont think that kids would like that and it would drop the popularity of loonatics unleashed and there by making it go KABOM!!!!!!!!! no more loonatics

I find it somewhat ironic that having characters kissing is considered taboo in a kid's show while super villains attempting to roast the heroes alive is A-OK.
And that any other pairing will never happen. Especially the same gender ones, because its a kid show, and soceity hasnt gotten that far yet.
I hope it never does.
And whys that?

You said kids see kissing when they go to the toilet. Not that I'm in any doubt Kids dont know what kissing or sex is, I knew what sex is since I was 6.
I have two younger cosins, 5 and 7, who both enjoy the idea of an AceXLexi paring. i've even heard by 7 year old cuz' ask if they would ever kiss! And there both guys btw.
And wile on the topic, I have wached MANY cartoon made for kids 5 and up and MANY of them have kissing and 'mushy stuff'. And trust me there not all shows for little girls.
So why can't it happen in loonatics? I see no problem. Besides, if you're old anuff to under stad them, Loonatics Unleashed has many jokes that would entertain older people.
Ex:
Duck: I think it's when something freezes over. Tech: We shared a locker back in [school]. It's a...long storry. Slam:*shuters* Lexi: There's something I'd like to do to the set of your pants!

I don't think I'd like to see official pairings on the episodes.
Don't get me wrong, I love fluff in cartoons. Archie and Atlanta in Class of the Titans is just adorable.
But the way I see it, the only way they can make something like romance legible in a cartoon like Loonatics Unleashed would be to devote a considerable amount of time actually developing it (the romance, I mean), which would take the focus away from the action. Imagine Loonatics Unleashed without action? D8
(I'm having trouble writing this... there's a real soul verson of the alphabet playing on the TV and it's real catchy. Darn children's programs! *shakes fist* W, X, Y and Z! OH! It's over now! 8D )
Besides, one offical pairing (Such as AcexLexi, for example), would upset other shipping supporters (Like DuckxLexi). And then we may have wars like over in the Avatar fandoms. Imagine LUO full of bickering and hate. D8
It makes me cry. ;__;
This way, fans can create whatever pairing they please, the action and wit in the series remains the focus, and everybody is happy. 8D
...
I'm probably in the minority with this one. ^^;

I actually think that Oddity raises a good point. In this case, an official pairing could actually develop naturally if there was a spin-off corresponding as the future. I'm glad you brought this up because, it's the same thing in Kim Possible. Kim and Ron are now dating and whenever I watch an episode, it mainly interferes with the action. The climaxes are always so dull and the problems are shortened due to this. They still have action and fighting going on but that's only because that if there is one difference between this show and Loonatics is that like any show that has a similar style to Class of the Titans for example, is mainly focused on the darkness and the crisp action, unless they could make that and the romance work which is almost impossible to do. For those who watch Kim Possible, you will notice that the first two episodes are brisk enough but the rest just grow weaker.

If you were referring to my post, I'm not the Oddity. ^^;
I didn't really go on the idea of Ron and Kim together, mainly because I can't see their relationship working out in any sort of way. I mean, honestly, if you went to school with someone, faught evil villains and foiled dire plans of world domination with someone, dating them would become TOO FREAKING MUCH!
It'd be like, "Hello! Can I have five seconds WITHOUT YOU?"
Kinda like how I see romance within the immediate Loonatics circle. They live together, fight together, hang together, adding a relationship into the mix would cause some friction both on and off the battle field, which could prove to be detrimental to the teams' overall functioning.
I guess I kinda feel sorry for them all in that respect (omg, get ready for some dribbling)...
I mean, think about it: if you spent all day every day on call for some major disaster to reveal itself so you can execute the vital actions needed to save the day for all mankind, before sitting back and waiting for it to happen all over again, you wouldn't have much time to go out and establish, let alone maintain a relationship with someone who wouldn't be around to bug you the whole time.
So I can see why the 'Tics would be looking among themselves for a bit of intimacy, but honestly, couples need a break from one another to make the time spent together seem more special and overall bearable. Even married folks have their time apart when they go to work or something (unless they're like my mother and stepfather, who work in the same company. They don't see each other very often because Kevin's always away on call and Mum sticks around in the office performing adminastritive tasks, but even still, there's always a bit of friction between them because of the amount of time they have to spend with eachother. Honestly, if I had to spend that much time with one person, I'd go mental. The thought is utterly daunting).
IN CONCLUSION, even if romance was incorporated within the series, it either wouldn't be done well, or it wouldn't be realistic, especially if the romance was between two of the members.
Sorry, but I'm pretty much against romance between canon memebers. D:
(And just a reminder, I'm not Oddity. She is a WAY better writer than what I'll ever be. XD )

Exactly. It's difficult to actually fight evil because you'll have your boyfriend/girlfriend on your mind consistently. Dating not only wouldn't suit the genre of the series, but it also adds stress on the character if the relationship thing is really not there and it's happening just for the fun of it.

I personally don't think it's a good idea. I mean my eight-year-old brother watches the show. And even I try to keep my stories within a G-PG rating. The show might get canceled if even Ace and Lexi kiss. Bumber really....

I like the show without official pairings, personally. =] It leaves options open for everyone's various imaginations. I've watched shows before where they suddenly pair up characters. And sometimes not everyone's happy about the choices... -shrug- It's better for everyone to be able to pair up whoever they want in their head. Just my opinion... ^ ^;
These recent posts change my standpoint on this, it over-domesticate the show and be a slap in the face to other shippers then the ones whos ship the official pairing. Big slap with catchers mit that leave mark and smell funny.
But, we all know if there ever was a pairing it would be AcexLexi, so there wouldnt really be anything to fight or complain about. Its either AcexLexi or nothing.
Now if they could make some episodes focus on romance, and others were its pretty much non-exsisting, then you'd have something.
