Though I hate to speak against Rev, it is actually possible for him to fall for such a trap... imagine, with how fast he runs, if he's looking over his shoulder to see if the mob is gaining on him, it would be entirely possible for him to not be looking where he's going and, in turn, to end up falling in the hole... because even if he noticed, I can imagine it'd be hard to brake when you're running at lightspeed.

...Run-on sentence, much? XD Oh well.

1.) He's running so fast that he sorta just whooshes right over the hole, or

2.) Even if he does fall into the hole, he has the ability of flight, so he can escape. ;)
