Maybe it means they "cancelled' their account. I don't know why that's called "deleting", but it is. :/

Yeah, my old account (Zadavias_spirit) says deleted, and I cancelled it on my own (e-mail problem). Some people may be banned (like those **** users who posted hate 24/7), but I think "deleted" basically means "account no longer in use."
