No, I’m not quitting the fandom; I’ll still be popping in every now and then to check some threads… Catch up with The Fragile and Bandkanon’s story (can’t remember the name, sorry. XD )… But fanart and stuff will be on hiatus for the time being. And the time in between each post may extend for long periods…
An explanation, yes? I stuck my foot in it the other day… D:
I was in art and a classmate from my Ancient Civilisations course was chatting to me about Tintin.
Now, in case you didn’t know, I’m a hardcore Tintin fan. Think of my love for Duck… Then times that by about 7, and you have my fixation on Tintin. Tintin should pwn the universe. Then everything would be AWESOME! 8D
Yeah, well, needless to say, our conversation was very passionate (at least, on my end it was… She was very intrigued by the history of it though… c(X )… And it came to a point where my art teacher jumped in and said, “While I’m gone-” (he’s going on long service leave for four weeks) “Would you like to paint a picture of Tintin this size?” *points to a large, 2.5x2 meter board*
And in my passionate ‘let’s-all-love-Tintin’ state, I screamed, “YES!”

So.
Yeah.
Sh*t.
My little A4 size works have turned into massive larger-than-life sized pieces.
Therefore, I need to immerse myself in Tintin to pull this piece off. Which means I need to abandon LU for the time being.
I’m not being traitorous, I swear. D:
