If Rev has a man-crush on ANYONE it's Tech. This I have no doubt. And it's hardly even a secret, really. I mean, watch the show and listen to the dialogue Rev uses when talking about/to Tech. That whole bit in The Comet Cometh about "my man Tech" was particularly telling.

I've done what Dragon_Wing said and put every fourth word he says in one sentence for "Loonatics on Ice". And this is what I got:

Well, lets' analyze this sentence by sentence. Obviously, Rev wouldn't speak outright, since someone might CATCH ON to such a code.

"Just at downtown say for year" is pretty easy. Tech and Rev are planning to own a penthouse together. But all they can afford right now is a rather run down penthouse downtown but there are better places out in the country. But they don't have the money for that right now. So Rev is just saying that they'll just have to take the place downtown, but only for a year. Once there they can have romantic tiem.

"Really they I and seconds that estimation know". Rev is addressing three subjects here - 'them', himself, and 'seconds'. But what does that mean? 'They' is the rest of the team and the rest of Acmetropolis in general. When Rev says 'I', he is not only referring to himself, but to him and Tech as a pairing, since, as the old Socratic saying goes, true friendship/love is one soul in two body. So 'I' refers to his (and Tech's) collective soul. And 'seconds' is pretty easy - if they make a slip up, it'll just take seconds for 'them' - the rest of the team and Acmetropolis - to know that they are a pairing. Rev emphasizes that this is just an estimation, but he pretty much knows for sure.

"Will that the ever seen we in doubt anything is." This is the simplest. Simply, if the rest of the team DOES find out about "their" (as marked by the word 'we') eloping, "that" would be the strangest thing they've "ever seen". So strange, in fact, that if they find out they will doubt anything is really anymore... or "doubt anything is". Pretty existential, I know, but Rev's deep that way.


So definitely a love confession. Yeah.
