Dragon Wing: LOLZ, I'm around... just lurking... and been busy with work and travel X3



Anyways!

If I had to choose two new mods, my choices would be Akira Cat and Dragon Wing. I feel that both have handled themselves very well with issues that come up on the forums (i.e. Spammers, controversial topics), both are well liked by if not all, then almost all board members. They both know how to address issues with members with proper "netiquette" without being condescending or threatening.

In addition both have been members of the forum quite some time - especially Akira Cat. From what I can see, both are logged on frequently and seem like they are going to be aroud the forums for a while too ;3

Not that I have anything against Xtream, Rye, Z_S and Ayelet... I'd vote for all y'all too if I could... Which brings me to my idea...

If anything Cali, you may want to consider having moderators for different sections. I'm not exactly familiar with how you can set up mod powers with activeboard as I'm still trying to figure that out myself, but perhaps each mod could focus on a particular section as some of us don't frequent certain areas as often as others.

For example, we will still be able to moderate posts across different sections, but we'll have "main mods" for the section
Fanfic mods: Akira & Rye
General: Dragon Wing & Z_S
Art: Xtream, Ayelet & Myself

It doesn't have to be exactly like that, but it's just to show how the concept ^^; Heh, I hope that made sense...

But if you still only choose two, I believe Akira Cat & Dragon Wing would make exceptional additions to the moderating staff :3

Thems are some pretty goodideas, I believe.

And yes, Akira and Angela would make fantastic mods. Especially since Akira has been here for AGES and Angela has had moderating experiences on other forums. :3

Late as hell to respond to KJ's post but:

1.) Thanks for the endorsement! =D

2.) The multiple moderators idea is a good plan - except there should be one "master" moderator who can oversee every forum, in case the specific moderators in charge of a certain forum are away for extended periods of time. The said master moderator would probably be someone who's already a mod right now.

But yes, many moderators is never a bad thing. That way there's more of a chance that someone with power will me online to patrol things pretty frequently. And six is probably enough for that.
