(Just as a warning to everyone, I'm about to go into nerdy Darkwing Duck-fan mode. 8D )

Well, in Darkwing Duck there's something we like to call the "Negaverse". This is an alternate dimension where everything is roughly the opposite of what it is here. In DWD, Darkwing's dimensional double NegaDuck rules over a flipped version of St. Canard (his home town). So theoretically, those who are shining pillars of justice in our universe are despicable evil-doers in the Negaverse.

I think it would be fecking awesome if the Negaverse theory was applied to LU. Pretty much everything about the series would be turned on it's head. Good guys would be bad, the normally dark reddish skyline would be bright blue, and Nega-Zadavia would probably become the corrupt ruler of Nega-Acmetropolis, with the nega-Loonatics doing her bidding.

Oh, the "everything is opposite" theory can also be applied to personalities of individual characters. That means that certain characters might not only be on the opposite end of the Good-vs.-Evil spectrum - they could have an entirely different persona altogether.

Dang. Someone needs to write a fanfic or something.

Then Lexi wouldn't be as acrobatic if she was completely the opposite should that be the case as well, which means that Ace would be... Duck! Duck and Ace would have completely swapped roles!

But should that be the case of the Loonatics being evil, maybe the main villains would be the heroes instead of the Loonatics.

Well actually, the "villains-always-get-foiled" rule only applies in OUR universe. In the negaVerse, it's typically the villains who come out on top. So the Nega-Loonatics would still be kicking ass and taking names...only as bad guys. D:

And as for personality swapping, it doesn't have to happen. Sometimes characters are completely the same as their counterparts, only they're on the opposite side of the law. For example, the kooky team of villains called the "Fearsome Four" is basically the same in the DWD Negaverse, only they fight against NegaDuck, instead of working with NegaDuck as the Normalverse versions do.

Edit: A pessimistic Rev...what an amusing concept. Do you suppose he and Rip would have opposite personalities if the negaverse rule was applied? That I'd like to see. XD
