Throughout the show we've seen what the loonatics like to eat
Slam likes pretty much everything Rev seems to like anything with seeds Ace is shown eating a carrot in the theme song
Everyone seems to like pizza which always seems to have pepperoni (Just to let everyone know I personaly DESPISE pepperoni I have no clue why it's so popular)
Unless the pepperoni is made of soy or whatnot this seems to be evidence that all the loonatics are omnivores despite Bugs suposedly being a typical vegetarian rabbit (correct me if I'm wrong)

Me: *is ignoring Cassidy* I personally love peperroni. Maybe the characters just got into eating it because maybe it's the food most people eat in the future.. Despite there being pepperoni on it.... or maybe they pick off the pepperoni when we're not looking.

Well, I think the general rule in cartoons is that anthro characters are omnivores. However, certain species-specific traits may be played up for the sake of humour (Rev's seed muffins, Ace and the carrot, etc.) I mean, I doubt Tech would actually try to eat a roadrunner, but we still see a certain amount of animosity between him and Rev's parents, more because it's funny than because it could actually happen.

The thing is in real life roadrunners don't even eat seeds - they eat insects and sometimes even snakes - so the portrayal of roadrunners eating seeds is inaccurate too, technically.
