(This story was inspired by a dream I had this morning. I hope you like it! Sorry if I take the characters OOC a bit, but trust me! I think you'll like it!)

Chapter 1: Welcome to the World, Ace

Ace slowly began to rise from the facility bed. He groaned as he was temporarily blinded by white lights that were all around the ceiling. He felt very weak as he sat up. He opened his eyes once more. He looked around and saw that the room was all white as well. The furniture, the bed he was on, the restroom as well. What was this strange environment?

"Ungh..." he got to his feet and walked around the fairly small room for a minute. "Where am I...?" he asked himself as he looked down at his furry, grey hands. "...Who am I...?"

He looked over at the back wall and saw a window. One big window. He walked up to it and curiously looked around for the stick you twist to open them. Once he found it, he opened them to expose himself to a huge beach full of color and life. He gasped a little as he eyes widened to take in the amazing sight.

"Wow... It's so...colorful and big..." he said as he nearly had a tear roll down his cheek.

He looked down and saw other people playing on said beach. They had balls, sand toys, and some of them were swimming on boards. Ace figured that the boards were for riding on in the water. Looking around even more, he saw 5 other individuals that were also anthros like him. Another bunny, a duck, a coyote, a roadrunner, and a tasmainian devil.

They seemed to be playing a game that involved keeping a white, laced ball in the air while hitting it over to the other side of the net to try and make it hit the ground. The duck did some sort of teleporting action to cheat at the game. Ace gasped as he watched the strange action occur and to find the duck reappear somewhere else on the court.

"...How did he do that...?" he asked himself.

One of the anthros looked up at him and gave a huge smile. Ace raised an eyebrow as he watched.

"Guys! Guys! Look who it is! He's awake, guys!" the duck pointed up at the rabbit in the 5th floor window.

All of the others looked up in surprise and with joy.

"No way! He's up!" the coyote cheerfully said.

"Let's go see him!" the other bunny said as they all began to make their way up the beach.

What were they running for? For him? He couldn't figure it out. It worried Ace a bit, since he had no idea who they were or how they knew him. Was he famous? Nah. He didn't think so.
