Ever since I heard Duck that he has Misty Breeze's eighth grade report card in his memerblia, that has me thinking has he known and when did he strated crushing on her.
But, how can Duck even have Misty's report card if he never went to school with her since he spent most of his young life in the orphanage until a couple of humans adopted him?
If Duck really DID went to the same school with Misty and a crush on her since the eighth grade, you would've think that he would've gotten over his crush on her and moved on.
Well, in my opinion on this why Duck has a crush on Misty are the same options/taste in women as his ancestor Daffy Duck, he ignors the personality and only goes for either the girl has a pretty face or she's rich (cause one time Daffy only married this one widow duck with a bratty kid only because she's rich).
If it's for Misty's looks, Duck must have some strange taste cause to me Misty Breeze looks like a shaved rat who had it's head stuck in a toaster.
I'm mostly guess it's for Misty's money, cause with all of those different types of mechandices, I think that she's filthy stinkin' rich (much like her personality).

In relation to WHY Duck likes Misty... He prolly adores her for her popularity. Maybe it excites him to think that if someone as well-known as HER hung off of HIS arm, he'd be just as well-known.

... Misty Breeze could have been in the same orphanage as Duck?? She could have been a snotty brat who go adopted early or something. After all it was Duck and Pinkster that were the only two left.
Hmm... this is a perplexing question we're posed here. But just so you remember, he was thirteen years old in eighth grade. So it must have been a teenage crush. Maybe they went to the same high school as each other.

hmmm... good point. Still it would be interesting if they did? Misty and Duck don't really seem to be the same age anyway. To get in the position that Misty holds for the News Station (no matter how pretty she is) would take a lot of hard work and connections. She would more then likely be AT LEAST 25/26 but maybe even older considering how popular she is with the world.
IF she was in the orphanage with Duck, he could have just been younger (grade school or beginning middle school) and she have been in 8th grade. If she did get adopted it would be easy to leave things behind. I don't see most people selling their grade cards to others no matter how popular they get. Either Duck knew her and got the card via trash or something or Duck really is a valid stalker (actually possible) to even get the grade card in the first place ...
It would be cool to think that Duck had met her before when he was younger (the grade card being key). She might not have actually been in the orphanage herself, but Duck could of still went to her school because even if you are in an orphanage you still have to attend usually.
*shrugs* I was just throwing this out there anyway ^.^. I think it would be a cool plot bunny for someone to write a story about Duck meeting Misty Breeze as a kid. Maybe she did something for Duck when he was younger (even if it was something mean - with Duck skewing it to seem like it was something nice) that got him fixated on her. There really are so many possibilities.

No you're not thinking too much. This is a very good point you put out there. Maybe if Misty was at least 2-3 years older than he is, that could be a possibility. Because then they could have been in the same college together and thus Duck was able to obtain the report card.
... I am thinking about this WAY too much. :P
