Let's start where we left off, shall we?

---------------------------------

"Boy Cass sure is takin' 'er  time in thur." Cid stated.
"I'll check up on her." Seth suggested, hopping to his feet.
"In the girls bathroom?" Dusk inquired childishly.
"Yes, apparently that is where women do their business, very good Dusk." Seth chimed, patting him on his blonde head.
He then exited the waiting room and down towards the restrooms. As he entered, he saw Cassidy being dragged away by a dark haired man.

"Cass!" he yelled.
In a rush of confusion, Cid and Dusk appeared also. Worried after hearing Seths scream. Grabbing chalk from their pockets, both Cid and Dusk drew alchemy ruins swiftly on the ground as Seth prepared himself. He slapped both hands together before forcing them to the ground. A long coil of concrete formed from the ground like a snake and coiled around one of the doctors legs. Doing the same motion as Seth, Dusk and Cid transmuted their own masterpieces. Cid had created a long javelin and skillfully threw it . He missed Cassidys face by an inch and it pinned the doctors to the floor, causing his ankle to snap. He let out a howl of pain. Finally, Dusk transmuted a chain like fromation from the ground, swinging it around like a cowboy at a rodeo Dusk swung it at Cassidy. It landed around her hips and tightened snuggly, and he pulled her close to the trio as fast as he could.

Cassidy, terrified and confused, quickly threw her arms around Seth's neck.

The man turned and looked at the three who attacked him. He glared at them. "You freaks.... You're stupid if you think you're little hero moment will keep me from taking her back where she belongs!" He growled.

Cassidy, suddenly fuming mad, let go of Seth and faced the man, practically snarling. "YOU! You think you own me or something! Just because those stupid people at the orphanage fell for your 'happy family' trick! I will NEVER go back with you!" Tears began to stream from her eyes, but she fought them back. "Accept for the few minutes that the orphanage people spent checking up on me, you were never kind to me! I feel somewhat stupid for not telling them what you did to me!" With that, she took a deep breath and faced Seth, Cid, and Dusk, wondering what their reaction to her outburst would be.....

Seth laughed, he expected that one coming. As for Dusk and Cid, both stared at the girl. Mouths agape.
"Wow..." Dusk commented, violet eyes wide.

Cassidy burst out laughing and hugged Seth tightly.

The lady who had been sitting behind the front desk walked up to them. "Excuse me? I saw what happened, and I called the police. Are you alright?"

Quick smiled back at the tiger. Heh. Boys, they're so odd sometimes.
But then, there it was. Like a golden light shining in the pit of her very soul.

'Yes!' Quick mentally pumped her fist in the air. She had an idea. "Ooh, really. Does he now." She put a fist to her chin, a thinking pose.

"Does who, what?" Duck questioned obviously out of the loop...as usual.
"...hmm." Quick ignored Duck....as usual. "Well, guyyys here's a propostion for ya."

"You'rrrre gonna sing with me?" Rev asked sounding very unsure.

Quick just put up a hand to silence the bird.

"....Jasper why don't YOU go up and sing first. THEN I'll...go...I guess." She looked to the side.

"That depends. Can I order a martini?"

"Jasper!"

"Whaaaaaaat?"

"Just get up there! Don't make me say the "F" word!"

"You don't have the guts!"

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

"Yeah, well, uh, fraidy cat!" Angered, Jasper bolted up, smashing his hands down on the table. He glowered sinisterly at his tiger friend.

"Fine, I'll go up." He paused. Then, grinned darkly. "But you're coming up with me!"

"Wh-wh-what?"

"Who's the fraidy cat now, eh?"

"Jasper, I-I'm not-!"

"Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiddddddddddy caaaaaaaaat!!!!" Aniko also stood up, glaring.

"Fine!" she snapped. Jasper clapped his hands giddily.

"Sweet, a duet!" He threw Duck his phone. "Record it. I'm sure Ace would looove to see his tigress on stage."

"You are so lucky your drink isn't here."

Quick smiled and leaned back in her chair. This was turning out better than she thought.

Rev looked over at Quick with a smal shake of his head. 'She totally manipulated them....how does she DO that?' he thought with wonder.

"Gah where's the stupid record button on this thing?" Duck grumbled, fumbling with Jasper's phone as the cats got on the stage.

Rev rolled his eyes at his technologically challenged friend. 'Jeez, how many times must I play Tech with this guy?' he thought and reached over to help his fellow bird.

Icy Fox walks in carrying a couple boxes of dougnuts with Ozzie on her shoulder snacking on one. She waves. "Hey! Got us some snacks!

Ozzie licks his sticky paws and talks through a mouthful. "Yeah! Come in get them before I eat them all!"

Icy scratches his ear. "Two's enough for you. So what's going on guys?"

(So Icy's entering the restaurant with Quick, Rev, Duck, Aniko, and Jasper, right? Coz Seth and Cass are at the hospital... And Cass is about to have a panic attack. XD)

Cassidy couldn't hear the lady's question, she was staring at the dark haired man. He smirked at her, knowing he scared her. Cassidy half-buried her face in Seth's chest, trying to chase away the horrid memories that haunted her.

But they were too much, and she began to feel that she could feel the pain, especially that in her arm, that she had suffered all over again. Then she realized, her arm really was hurting, to the point where Cassidy felt like someone was slowly stabbing her arm.

Then her head started pounding, and she felt dizzy and weak, making her stomach feel sick.

"Seth.." She mumbled, ears drooping. "I don't feel good..." Just as those words barely left her mouth, her eyes closed and her frail body went limp in Seth's arms as she fell into unconciousness.

(DRAMADRAMADRAMADRAMADRAMA!!!! *is killed by Seth for hurting Cassidy once again* )

Icy suddenly stiffens. "My....BFF senses are tingling. AAAGH! Something wrong with Cassidy!"She drops boxes and runs for the hospital with the screaming ferret on her shoulders. "I'm coming Cass!"

"Cassidy wake up!"
"Call a doc!" he told the woman who quickly obliged.
"Get a cop while your at it for-" Dusk then stopped in mid sentence, looking back.
The man was gone.

A thin, pale-faced man came running up to them. He placed his hand against Cassidy's forehead. Then he noticed something strange on her arm. A liquid was soaking through her shirt sleeve. He quickly but carefully rolled up the sleeve, revealing the deep wound that Cass had kept a secret from everyone except Seth.

"This seems to be the problem.." The doctor said, pointing to the wound. "Very bad infection. Did any of you know about it?"

Dusk and Cid shook their heads, Seth twiddled with his thumbs. He bit his lips before speaking.
"She...had a accident in gym class. I remember putting bandages on it early but she must've taken them off. She thinks they're very uncomfrotable."

The doctor looked at Seth unbelievingly, but his attention was taken away when Icy ran up to him.

"She will be alright soon. I can give her antibiotics to fight the infection, but nothing else until she wakes up." He paused. "It might be best if we put her in a room so her body can rest and fight off this infection."

Cid and Dusk agreed and began to help the doctor pick Cassidy up and get her to a near by room. As Seth stared at the fox with a contorted expression. He pointed at her and the ferret at the top of her head, but he exactly didn't classify it as a ferret.
"Is that a rat on your head?" he asked with a disgusted expression.

(lol I'm sorry Serenity, I couldn't help myself XD)

MEANWHILE in Cassidy's little head:

Cassidy and Seth were in a empty feild together, laughing and goofing off like normal teenagers. Cassidy sits down and smiles at Seth.

"Seth?"

"Yeah?" Seth answered, sitting down next to her.

"Do you love me?" Cassidy asked, twiddling her thumbs.

"Course I do!" Seth replied, plucking a flower and placing it in her hair.

Cassidy giggled and laid her head down in Seth's lap. "Seth?" She repeated.

"Yeah?"

"I love you too..."

(She had the same dream Seth did a while back, their first night together! ^.^ *squeals happily*)

(Ozzie is half my character. He was a ferret from I book I read but then once I got my own ferret I named him after that ferret and online pretty much give him the same name, personality, and abilities. So, in  way he's half mine because one part of him I own ^^)

Ozzie is standing on the edge of Cassidy's bed examining her. "Oof. This is actually pretty seriouse. I'm very limited in what I can do." He looks up at Icy sadly. "And another thing. I can only do it if they want to be healed. I know it sounds dumb but it makes sense. We need to know somehow if she will allow me."

The doctor looked at the ferret disbelievingly. "Healing powers or not, I advise not relieving the pain until she wakes up." He pauses. "I know it sounds cruel, but the relief will only deepen her coma. If we do that, she might not wake up ever again."

Seth eyes widened in fear. He clenched Cassidy's hand tightly trying to hold back his tears.
"C-coma? I-I-I thought it w-was j-just...I...thought...she..." without saying another word he burried his head in Cassidys chest with sorrow.
Cid smiled weakly, tussling with Seths hair.
"I'm sorry, bud."
Dusk rubbed his eyes silently before looking back at the ferret.
"Healing powers? How is that even ramotely possible?"

The doctor patted Seth's shoulder. "It's not a very deep one... She should wake up within an hour." He glanced at his watch. "I have another patient waiting to see me... Tell one of the nurses to get me when she wakes up... Dr. Manning, please." And with that, he left.

Icy sniffed, rubbing her eyes. "Well now what?"

Ozzie nodded as he crossed his arms. "The doc's right. I can't do a thing until she's awake..."

Icy thought a minute and then picked up the ferret.

Ozzie looked at her quizically. "Where are we going?"

Icy sighed. "The gift shop to get her some stuff for when she wakes. Better then just sitting here like aa dumb bum...And Cassidy sure loves chocolate..." With that the two walked out of the room and down the hall.

Minutes ticked by, silence fell through the room. Cassidy laid still, except for the rising and falling of her chest as she breathed.

There was a soft knock on the door. A young nurse walked in. "Hello," She smiled shyly. "I'm Marianne, and I will be looking after her while the doctor checks on his other patients." She paused, walking up to Seth, who was still obviously upset. She set her hand on his shoulder. "You don't need to worry. Dr. Manning told me what happened. She'll wake up soon. You might want to talk or maybe even sing to her. The sound of your voices might encourage her to wake up."

Icy jumped at Cassidy's voice. "Cass! Oh my gosh our awake!" She moved to give Cassidy a bone crushing hug but the nurse pulled on her color to hold her back.

Ozzie smiled warmly as he leaped off Icy's shoulder onto the bed. "Hey there Cass. How are you feelin? We brought you some chocolates." He took one of the full boxes and held it up to the coyote.

The nurse looked at Cassidy quizzically, having overheard the small arguement between the coyote and fox. "Miss? The people who.... uh, were your foster family... Their name doesn't happen to be the Richardsons?" She asked hesitantly.

Cassidy's eyes widened. "Yes.... why?"

"The man, Mr. Richardson.... He's been lurking around here for the past few weeks. But, whenever somebody sees him, he disappears. We've called the police several times, but when they show up, he's gone."
