The door opened to reveal a nurse. Ace slid behind the door in an attempt to hide. "Everything okay, dear?" The woman asked, although there was no sign of interest in her voice whatsoever. As the rabbit tried to slide out, the nurse caught him. She scowled.

"Who are you?"

"Ummm...janitor?" The woman was unimpressed.

"Where's your cleaning supplies?" Ace blinked, then dramatically slapped his forehead with a weak laugh.

"Ohhh, right! I always forget dat part! Y see, I'm kinda new here, and-" The nurse folded her arms, annoyed.

"Get out."

"Yes, mam, right away." And he zoomed out of the room.

Cassidy gave the rabbit a confused and terrifed look before he disappeared through the door.

Her attention was then taken away by the nurse as she walked over to the table and then faced Cassidy, holding a needle.

Cassidy gulped and whimpered slightly.

"It is time to give you another shot of painkillers." She explained. She reached out to grab Cassidy's arm, but the frightened coyote pulled away.

Ace sighed as he shut the door. He needed to get back to his room. That was far too close. Though as he went to leave, he heard a scared whimper. He peaked back inside. A needle? No big deal for him, but the girl looked terrified, and the nurse wasn't offering any support. Maybe he should help...

So he flung open the door, and walked over to the bed. He lent out his hand with a smile. "Hey, relax. Just hold my hand, and it'll all be over soon."

Icy sat at the table with Rev eating lunch. She decided to get a salad instead....eating chicken infront of the roadrnner would have made it awkward. "What are you doing here?"

Rev shrugged as he pulled out a boquette (dont know how to spell it) of flowers. "Came to see how Cassidy and Ace were doing."

Icy shook her head surprised. "Wait, Ace is here?"

Ace kneeled down beside her. Noting her terrified expression, he chuckled. "C'mon. It'll be okay. Just count to ten..." The nurse went in. Now, it was up to Cassidy to pull away or not.

Cassidy kept a tight hold on the rabbit's hand, just about to the point where her hands were beginning to hurt, as well.

"..One... T-two... Th-three... Four... F-five....Six.... Seven... E-eight... Nine... T-ten...." She slowly counted.

The nurse pulled away and walked back to the counter to clean up. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" She asked in a flat, uninterested voice.

When the coyote released his hand, Ace nearly groaned with relief. His hand was throbbing, and that was not helping his stomach. He smiled reassuringly at the girl. "Was it?" he prodded.

Cassidy gazed up at the rabbit, her brown eyes searching him. "Who.. who are you?"

He smirked. "Ace Bunny, at your-ah!" He gripped his stomach. This wasn't good. He shakily stood up. "S-Service...I gotta jet. Bye!" In a few seconds, he was gone as soon as he came.

(I had to restrain myself from writing, He declared, "I am The Dairy Phantom! FEAR ME!" )

Ozzie yawned and stretched, oening his eyes slightly. He looked at the sleeping six year old and smiled as he tunred around. As he did he looked up to see a nurse staring in shock at him. Ozzie covered his ears as she screamed. "AAAAAGGGHHH!!!! A RAT!!!!"

"Uh oh." Ozzie jumped off the bed and headed for the door but a male nurse came in and trapped him under an upsided down waist basket. "Gah!"

Slam blinked as he passed a door. He stopped. What was that? Curiously, he opened the door, and saw a nurse struggling with a basket that was...moving. Even more curious now, he lifted the basket effortlessly, only for a...a rat? to run out.

Ozzie dashed out of the basket as quickly as it opened, screaming his head off. "AAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!" He dashed in between Slam's legs and out the dor into the hall, where a ustle of nurses, trolleys, and cotbeds were being moved around. Ozzie stopped an inch infron of a foot that nearly stepped on him and then continued running as it passed.

Another nurse spotted him an screamed, throwing a tissue box at him. Ozzie yelped as he dodged it andskidded on the smooth floor, slidding right into the wall.

Alarmed, and slightly concerned for its well being, Slam raced after, thundering across the floor while yelling, "WAIT!"

Ien shot up in bed when he heard the terrified screams. "No!" He cried. "Please don't!"

The female nurse came over to him. "Sssshhh... don't worry.... everything's okay... just lay back down.." She stroked the little boy's hair, trying to calm him.

Ien reluctantly obeyed, laying back down in bed. "Moma.." He stated.

"Pardon me?" The nurse asked, confused.

"Can Moma and Daddy come now?" Ien explained.

"Oh.." The nurse nodded. "I'll go get them right now... You just stay there, sweety, okay?" And with that, she left.

Ace groaned as he threw himself onto his bed. He made a mental note NOT to move around after getting his stomach pumped.

Ozzie was about to reply when he heard the boy Ien yell from his hospital bed. "Woops! Looks like he's up. Hey, big guy, can you just drop me back off in that room right there? I was leaving while the kid was asleep so I wouldn't upset him but it looks like he's wide awake now.

Meanwhile...

Rev turned the handle into one of the patient's rooms and he and the fox stepped part way in. The roadrunner held up a bag of baby carrots. "Hey Ace? Ya awake buddy?"

Ien sat in bed, waiting to see his Moma and Daddy. Minutes ticked by, and the boy became bored, and began playing with his tiger. But soon, he became sleepy again and layed his head down on the pillow, his eyes closing slowly.

MEANWHILE:

Cassidy layed in her bed, bored out of her mind. The room was completely empty. She was becoming worried. Seth, Cid, and Dusk had disappeared a while ago to find the police, but have not yet returned. She longed to see Seth again, even though they had only been apart a few hours...

"Okay!" Slam exclaimed happily. Within a few steps, they arrived. Slam gently let Ozzie down, smiling.

THEN, IN ANOTHER RANDOM UNIVERSE...

Sighing, Ace sat up. He rubbed his eyes. "I am now..." he grumbled. Though at the sight of the carrots, his face lit up. The rabbit's mind churned with desire, but his stomach ached in protest. "Ehm...maybe later, Rev." Ace smiled at Icy. "Hey, Icy. What're you doin' here?"

Ozzie winked a thanks at Slam and then cautiously crept over to the bed and climbed up it onto the matress. Ien's eyes were starting to close but they became wide with joy as he spotted the ferret. Ozzie grinned at him with his little sharp teeth as his stone glowed a warm gold. "Hey kid. Miss me?"

Meanwhile.... (LOL XD)

Rev and Icy sat down in some chairs nex to the bed as she explained. "I came here to see Cassidy. But then found Rev in the caffeteria and decided to come over and see what's up with you."

Rev nidded as he put the carrots on the nightstand. "So what IS going on with you?"

Ien yelped in joy. "Yes!" He reached out and grabbed the ferret, huggging him tightly. "The nurse lady said she was going to get my Moma and Daddy but they're not here yet!" He cried in despair. Then, Ien noticed the little stone around the ferret's neck. "What's that, Mr. Magic Ferret?" He asked, pointing to the stone.

MENAWHILE:

Cassidy was awoken by a hand on her shoulder, and a soft voice calling her name. She turned around in bed and blinked her eyes sleepily. "Seth?" She asked hopefully.

"No, I'm sorry." Cassidy could see that it was nurse. "There's someone who wants to see you..."

Cassidy looked around, but there was no one in the room. "Who?"

"A little boy who wants his 'Moma.' And apparently, that's you."

"Ien!" Cassidy gasped, nearly scrambling out of bed.

The nurse stopped her. "You have to take it easy, otherwise you'll get sick to your stomach and your stitches will come undone." She then helped Cassidy get up and walk out the door. The nurse led her to another room, where a little boy with green eyes was hugging a ferret.

Cassidy rushed to his side. "Ien!"

Ien looked up and smiled the widest smile ever. "Moma!" He cried happily.

"Oh, sweetheart, I'm so glad you're feeling better!" Cassidy knelt beside the bed and hugged Ien.

"I missed you, Moma." Ien said, letting go of Ozzie so he could give Cassidy a hug.

Cassidy kissed the boy's forehead. "I missed you, too."

"Where's Daddy?!" Ien asked.

Cassidy bit her lip. How could she tell Ien that Seth was missing?!

"Ohh, you know... bullies beating my stomach with a poisonous bat/razor.... the usual." He smirked, slightly rolling his eyes. "Cassidy...that name rings a bell. Who is she again?"

Ozzie grinned as his stone glowed brightly with his mood. He lay on the pillow on the opposit bed wit hhis paws behind his head watching the touching reunion. "Well I guess I'm no longer needed." He sighed with satisfaction and closed his eyes to get ready for a nap.

Icy smirked an answer. "Seth's sweet heart."

Cassidy softly stroked Ien's head. "Daddy... had to go get some stuff... He'll be back soon, though..." She sat on the bed and Ien cuddled up to her. Then his eyes brightened. "Moma! Look at this!" He giggled, holding out his stuffed tiger. "Mr. Magic Ferret gave it to me!"

Cassidy smiled. "Did he?" She giggled. "Did you say thank you?"

"Yup!" Ien nodded. "Did you know... " His voice lowered as he whispered. "He's a magic ferret?!"

Cassidy gasped, pretending to be surprised. "Is he? I did not know that!"

"Yes, he is! He told me so! But don't tell anyone, it's a secret!"

Cassidy laughed. "I promise, I won't tell anyone."
