Seth smiled appreciatively at the three as they left.

Suddenly, Ien yelped. "Daddy!!!"

Seth let go of Cassidy for a moment and ran over to Ien. "Hey buddy! How are you feelin?!"

"Much better!" Ien piped, smiling widely.

"That's great!" Seth smiled before giving the child a peck on the forehead.

Cassidy giggled. "You should show Daddy what you got from the nice ferret!"

Ien smiled. "Look Daddy!" He squealed, holding up a stuffed tiger.

Seth chuckled. "That's a pretty cool toy!"

"And the ferret who gave it to me, he could talk! You see... He's a magic ferret!"

Icy, Rev, and Ozzie found themselves in the caffeteria eating icecream and chatting...

Seth sat on the bed with Cassidy in his lap and Ien snuggled closely at his side. Seth gently stroked Cassidy's hair, then his hand fell to her upper arm, where the wound was. Cassidy flinched, but otherwise did not move. She didn't want to, she just wanted to be with Seth and Ien. Seth kissed her neck and cheek gently, just enjoying having her in his arms again. But this happy moment was not to last forever.....

A nurse then walked in and frowned at them gently. "i'm sorry but visiting hours are over. Miss Coyote has to get back to her rom so she can rest. However the doctor informed me that little Ien is well enough to go if he feels up to it..."

Cassidy looked up at Seth, frowning. "I guess that's okay.." She slowly stood up.

Ien looked from Cassidy to Seth in confusion. "Where you going, Mommy?"

"I have to stay here right now, sweetheart.. But you can go home with Daddy if you like..."

Ien thought long an hard. "I..... I wanna.... I wanna stay with Mommy!" He cried.

Seth stared down at the boy and then turned to the nurse. "When is Cass expected to leave?"

The nurse smiled. "Well progress of recovery is going well and if she keeps it up at a steady pace she'll be able to go home three days from now..."

Seth smiled down brightly at Ien. "Here that sport?"

Ien smiled, but was still persistant. "Can I stay with Mommy? Please?" He begged.

Seth shook his head. "Sorry kiddo. We'll come back tomorrow and see her if you want?! Until then maybe you'd like me to take you to an ice scatng rink or go get a hotdog?"

Ien frowned in thought, then smiled. "Okay! Can Aunty Icy and Mr. Magic Ferret come, too?!" He asked, looking hopeful.

Cassidy gave Ien a kiss on the forehead. "I'll be looking forward to that visit tomorrow. Be good." She smiled at him before turning to Seth. She gently placed her hand on Seth's cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow." She whispered, gazing deep into his eyes. "I love you.."

Seth wrapped a loving arm around Cassid. "I love you too..."

Ien tugged on the coyote's sleeve and looked up at hi with full twinking yes. Seth laughed. "Alright Sport. I'm coming. Say goodbye to mommy."

Ien hugged Cassidy as well. "Bye mommy!"

With that the two left the room with one mre wink from Seth as they departed...

Cassidy smiled as they left, then the nurse led her back to her own room. Cassidy layed down, slowly, being careful to not brush her injured arm against anything. She sighed happily. Things were starting to turn around. Ien was better, Seth was back, and her old family didn't stand a chance against her and Seth.....

MEANWHILE:

Icy and Rev took Ozzi to the cafeteria, as the little ferret was hungry, yet again. Icy came back with two bowls of ice cream and a salad. Ozzie licked his lips and reached for the ice cream, but Icy swatted his little paw away and placed the salad in front of him. "You're going on a diet, now." The fox ordered, handing Rev one of the icecream bowls.

Ozzie pouted, glaring at the salad. He took a nibble at one of the leaves, then spit it back out. "If you're gonna feed me junk like this, I am gonna lose weight....."

Icy giggled before eating a spoonful of ice cream. "I'll share...." The ferret's eyes lit up. "IF you finish your salad first." She finished.

Ozzie pouted once more. "No fair."

(Sorry about stealing them, but I got that scene and couldn't forget it... PRICELESS..XD)

(It's fine! I give you permission from now on to do whta you please with them. That was cute! In the book series Emily's mom ACTUALLY does end up putting Ozzie on a diet XD)

Rev chuckled. The fox's sense of humor never ceased to surprise him. He paused in eating his ice cream subconsciously. He found himself staring at Icy, staring at her bright, cheerful face, her sparkling ice-blue eyes, her-

"Yo, Rev? Are you feeling okay?"

The fox's voice snapped Rev out of his trance. "Huh? Oh, yeah, just... a.. an ice cream headache, is all!" He chuckled nervously.

Icy gave him one last curious look before returning to her ice cream, and keeping Ozzie out of it..

Icy watched Ozzie chew at a peice of lettuce miserably and then smiled as she held out half a spoonful for him. "Aw what the heck!"

Ozzie imidiatly brightened ip. "Yay! Thanks!" He took a bight and then sighed contentedly.

Icy looked up at Rev and noticed he was in his own world again. Okay, this iwas ridiculous. She then noticed Rev had already finished his ice cream. Sheesh, no wonder he go brain freeze. He can't slow down even to eat ice cream...

Icy cracked a grin as she scooped up a spoonful of her and stood, stretching her arm out to him. Rev stared at the spoon cross eyed and smiled. "Oh, um, thanks!" He took the bite. As he did he stared at Icy's eyes again. This time she was staring back so it was too late to look away.

Icy didn't look away either. She felt her stomach leap and she felt her face grow hot...

Ozzie watched this in amusement. He had this sudden urge to jump on Icy's head and push it closer to Rev's. But, his mischeivious thoughts were cut off when he was suddenly grabbed from behind.

"ACK! ICY! HELP ME! I'M BEING MAULED!" He screamed.

"Hey Mr. Magic Ferret!" A boy's voice said.

Ozzie relaxed. "Oh, it's just you." He chuckled nervously.

Icy smiled down at the boy who was now squeezing the air out of the ferret in a lovable hug. "Hi Ien! Looks like you're doing good!"

Seth walked up and put a hand on the kid's shoulder. "Ien wanted to ask you--"

Ien looked up at him and pouted. "No! I want to ask them!"

Seth put his hands up in mock deffence. "Sor-ry."

Ien grinned up at Icy and Rev. "You guys want to go ice scating?"

Icy was up on her feet grabbing her bag. "You don't have to ask me twice."

Ien grabbed Icy's hand and then started to walk off. Rev tagged behind with Seh. The roadrunner raised an eyebrow in a concerned manner. "So what's up with Cass?"

Seth gave a small smile. "Well he nurse said she'd be out in a couple of days so I guess there's not much to worry about.

"But you will anywyas?"

".......yeah..."

Ien held Icy's hand as they reached the door of the skating rink. "We're here! We're here!" He called out to Seth and Rev.

Seth and Rev chuckled to themselves as they began jogging to catch up with Icy and Ien....

Ozzie shivered as his fur stood on end. "It's freezing in here! Feel's like Icy's bedroom..."

Rev scooped Ozzie up and place him in his jacket so that the little ferre's head was poking out. "That's why she's so comfortable here. Icy and I come down here all the time."

Ien tugged at the fox's sleeve. "Come on! Come on! Let's get some scates! 8D"

Seth chuckled. Ien suddenly reminded him of someone. She would be upset, knowing she missed out on this.

MEANWHILE:

Cassidy layed in her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Seriously, that was all she could do. There was no TV, no games, no nothing.... No wonder she slept a lot, coz there was nothing else to do. How she longed to be with Seth and Ien and Icy, SKATING......

The four were out on the ice going around the rink, Icy skating circles around all of them. After all it was her element.

Ozzie was starting to fall asleep in Rev's jacket when he roadrunner suddenly lost his balance and fell backward.

Ozzie yelped as he flew into the air and landed on the ice. His stone flared up with excitement and the feret suddenly had an idea. Holding it up he sent an image to Cassidy of Ien skating. "Hope she likes it. Most likely its torturing her and she'l make me into a scarf when she's out but that's a chance I'm willing to take..."

Cassidy blinked. She started to see somthing... in her head?

After a few moments, the figure became clearer. It was Ien, wobbling around on his small skates, beside him was Seth, who took one step and fell.

Cassidy giggled to herself, then closed her eyes, enjoying the scene in her head.

Ozzie chuckled, knowing he had done the right thing. He then caught site of something he KNEW Cassidy would like. Icy and Rev were scatting together a little closer then they should have been. "You getting this Cass?"

Icy ruffled the boy's hair as she skated by. But as she turned back around another boy zoomed past crazily ,nearly bumping into her.

"WHOA!" Icy lost her balance and fell ack. Rev gasped and ran to catch her, which he did, except he kept going, sliding on the ice. The two slid across the rink screaming until they hit the opposit wall in a heap

Icy lay across the roadrunner daxed. ".......ow."

Rev's eyes widened in shock as he saw the fox laying across himself, in such a position that he could see her.... well..... tail end... Rev closed his eyes and looked away.
