(Note: I'm doing this story because Resident Evil has been my favorite survival-horror series for AGES. This story is about Jill Valentine stumbling into another dimension while investigating the Spencer estate back in 1998. She mysteriously finds herself in the year 2772! I really hope you enjoy this crossover of mine.)

Chapter 1: Jill's Accident

Rain poured down outside the mansion. Lightning occasionally stuck, thunder ensuing.  Jill held her Samurai Edge (the real name of the S.T.A.R.S handgun) with the barrel pointed downward towards the ground. The floor creaked just a little with each step she took. Chris was following close behind her.

"Is it this room...?" Jill asked, looking back at Chris with a glance.

"Yeah, this is it," he said with a nod.

Jill took a bit of a deep breath and reached for the knob. She slowly turned the rusty knob and lifted her Samurai Edge as the door creaked open. She poked the barrel through the gap in the door, not really seeing any zombies or the like. With a sigh of relief, they entered the room.

The duo looked around, but it didn't take them long to focus their eyes on the big machine that was placed along the back wall.

"What the hell is this thing...?" Chris muttered as he looked over the controls to it, not daring to touch anything.

Jill put her gun in her pocket and looked around the monitors.

"It looks like nothing I've seen..." she muttered, seeing a number pop up in green letters.

Chris tried looking for the off switch, but couldn't really tell what lever or button was what.

"Be careful with this thing, okay?" Chris said.

Jill nodded and carefully tapped away at the computer's touch screen.

"2772? What's that suppose to mean?" she said to herself.

"You think someone's been using this?" Chris asked.

"Dunno... This machine is really weird..." Jill muttered.

Jill's hand must of had a mind of its own, because she accidentally tapped a button she shouldn't have. The machine came to life, making all sorts of weird noises. Jill gasped a bit and backed away, watching the machine.

"I hope you were being careful..." Chris said, backing away as well. The tone of his voice wasn't angry or anything, just protective.

After all of the noise let up and the machine was fully activated, Jill hesitantly took a couple steps forward.

"Well, I know I didn't break it..." she muttered.

Chris let out a sigh of relief and put his gun away. However, it wasn't over. The machine was targeting Jill. The small turret looked at Jill. She looked up and gasped as the turret was charging a small bolt of lightning.

"Jill, watch out!" Chris yelled.

Jill didn't have any time to react as she was hit with the bolt. She screamed breifly, but her cries could no longer be heard as she was gone. Not a single trace left behind.

Everything was a blur to Jill. The whole accident. Even some events before that. What Jill would wake up to would change her life forever.

Yes, I'd like to know that, too. XD

Anyways, interesting choice for an LU crossover, my friend! My brother had Resident Evil... four? I'm not sure. A girl was kidnapped... there was some guy injecting people to make them zombies... and chainsaws. I loved to watch my brother scream. XD

Point being I don't know much about Resident Evil, but it was still a good read. Not one spelling error or grammar issue! I rather like your style. ^^ Although, in the last line:

Everything was a blur to Jill. The whole accident. Even some events before that. What Jill would wake up to would change her life forever.

Try to show more, and not tell.

Anyways, aside from that, nice work. I look forward to future updates/ fics from you. ^^

(Here we go!)

Chapter 2: A New World

Jill could hear cars flying above her as she was unconscious in one of Acmetropolis's alleys. Although, she herself couldn't depict what the sound was. Her arms came to life once again, a groan escaping her as she tried to get up. She soon managed to get herself to her feet after a good few minutes of resting.

"Ow... My head..." she muttered, placing her hand on her forehead and feeling a small trickle of blood stain her palm.

"Damn... What the hell happened...?" she asked herself, wiping the blood on her pants.

Her outfit looked pretty beat up. Although, she still had her gear and her beret and weapon. Now all that was left to do was find out where she was. She held her side and slightly limped out of the alley. Her eyes went wide when she saw her surroundings.

Everything was very much advanced and hi-tech. All futuristic and stuff. Some of the cars could fly, odd-looking outfits, lots of tall, pointy buildings...you name it. She looked astounded.

"Where in the world....." she couldn't even finish the question that she was indirectly asking.

Some people stared at her as they passed by. Jill didn't take notice, though. She walked along a sidewalk for a bit and stopped to think when she leaned back against the wall of a cafe. Inside the cafe was two of Acmetropolis's heroes. Tech and Ace. The wall was glass, so the two heroes could look at her just fine.

"I'm telling you, Ace..." Tech began as he took a bite of a bagel. "Our tower's defense system needs an upgrade. Big time," he finished.

"Sounds like a plan, Tech. Anyting in mind?" Ace asked, kicking back a bit and sipping a soda.

As Tech began to talk about what to do with the tower's defenses, Ace began to eye the woman not looking so good outside the cafe. He noticed that Jill was weak and beat up, but from what? He hadn't the slightest idea.

"She's bleedin...." he thought, eyeing her some more.

"You get that, Ace?" Tech asked, noticing that his attention was somewhere else.

"....Huh?" Ace said, snapping out of his staring trance. "Sorry, Tech. I just couldn't help but to notice dat woman out dere..." he explained, pointing at her. Jill's back was to them, so she had no clue she was being watched.

"Hmm?" Tech looked over and saw a fairly beat up and lightly bleeding woman.

"She looks like an officer of some sort. Should we help?" Tech asked.

"Yeah, lets..." Ace said.

Ace and Tech stood up from the table and walked outside to help Jill. They approached her and stood next to her, eyeing her.

"Eh, excuse me, miss?" Ace asked.

Jill slowly brought her head up. "Huh...?" she asked weakly.

"You look hurt. Can we get you some help or something?" Tech asked.

Jill nearly screamed, but a fairly big gasp escaped her. She backed away from the two, wide eyed and frightened. She brought her gun up fast and aimed it at them. They jumped a bit.

"W-What are you?!" she yelled a bit.

"Whoa! Take it easy, miss!" Ace raised his arms a bit. "You act like you've neva seen walking and talking animals before," he added.

"Only on TV, but never for real!" she said.

She began to figure that this sort of thing would exist, being in the far future and all.

"Miss, calm down, okay?" Tech asked. "Now, can you tell us your name?" he added.

She slowly lowered her gun, noticing that a few people watched. They were friendly enough.

"J...Jill. Jill V-Valentine..." she said with a shaky tone.

"Okay, Jill. Can we get you any help or something?" Tech asked again.

"I want to know a few things..." she said.

"Go on," Ace said.

"One... Where am I? And two, what year is this?" she asked.

The two were a bit surprised by the questions.

"You...don't know what year this is?" Tech asked, Jill shaking her head.

"2772, Jill," Ace said. "And dis city your in is Acmetropolis," he added.

"Chris...." Jill muttered, looking down.

Ace and Tech looked at each other with confused expressions.

Chapter 3: From the Past

Ace looked back over at Jill. "Eh, Chris?" he said.

"Chris is...my partner," she said with a sigh.

"Partner? As in...partner partner, or...?" Tech began.

Jill looked up at Tech. "What? N-No, not like that. I was just on a mission with him...until I found myself knocked out in an alley here..." she put her gun away and felt her head for more blood.

"I see..." Tech muttered. "Listen, Jill. How about you come back to HQ with us? We can fix you up and you can tell us more there?" Tech asked.

Jill was a bit surprised by Tech's offer. Heck, she had absolutely nothing in this world except for her S.T.A.R.S uniform and her gear. She might as well take it up.

"HQ... Sure..." she nodded and smiled a bit for the first time.

"We'll take the bikes," Tech smiled, taking out what looked to be a beeper and pressing the red button.

Two bikes came roaring down the street quickly, coming to a complete stop once they reached the three.

Ace just grinned a bit and went over to the first bike, hopping on and putting on a helmet. Jill followed Tech onto his bike. Tech didn't need a helmet, since he could heal himself and such. As they both got on the bike, Jill shyly wrapped her arms around Tech's waist so she could hold on and not fall off of the bike.

"Gah-ha..." Tech muttered, blushing and smiling awkwardly.

With that, they both sped off towards HQ. On the way there, Tech lifted his wrist and activated his communicator.

"Tech to HQ," he said.

Danger picked up his communicator.

"Duck here. Talk to me," he said as he was lazying on the couch.

"Ace and I are on our way back to HQ. And we're bringing a surprise," Tech said.

"A surprise? Presents for us?" Duck smiled.

"You'll see," he grinned. "Tech out."

The bikes roared into the hanger at HQ. They parked them along a row of other bikes, making six total. Jill spotted the bikes and thought for a moment. She got off of it after Tech did.

"There are more of you...?" Jill asked.

Tech nodded and smiled. "There're six of us living here, so I made a bike for each one of us," he said.

"Gah...!" Jill yelped a bit as she nearly fell. She felt weak.

"I got ya!" Tech said, grabbing onto Jill and placing one of her arms around his neck and holding onto her.

"Thanks..." she smiled a bit.

They headed into the elevator to take them to the main room of the tower. The rest of the gang was eating breakfast when they heard the elevator whoosh open.

"Ngh. You'll be okay, Jill," Tech smiled as he helped her in.

The crew stood up from the table, surprised to see an injured woman in police clothing supported by Tech. Some of the crew gasped.

"Whoa, is she okay?" Lexi asked, jogging over to help. She took Jill's other arm and wrapped around her neck.

"Let's lay her down on da couch," Ace said.

Tech and Lexi nodded and helped her over to the couch, gently laying her down.

"Can we get you anything?" Lexi asked.

"Water, please...?" Jill asked.

Lexi nodded and jogged over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water. Tech sat by Jill and looked at her. Lexi came right back with Jill's water.

"Thanks..." she smiled and took the water, drinking some and setting it down on the coffee table.

Rev came rushing over with a first aid kit. "We-gotta-stop-that-bleeding-there-hmm?" he said, gently dabbing a cloth on Jill's forehead to get the blood off.

"I can't thank you guys enough..." she said with a slight chuckle.

"You can always count on us, Jill," Ace grinned a bit.

(I'll work on it some more later.)

Uhhm...Souless, the people in RE4 are not turning into zombies but they turned into Los Ganados instead. and the main character of RE4 is Leon S. Kennedy
a survivor and a veteran of the T-Virus Outbreak, he is a former R.P.D unit and he is now a Secret Goverment Agent to protect the president...

(Guess what? I'm BACK! And I came to continue this darn story! Because I LOVE this crossover. xD Enjoy!)

Chapter 4: A Little Talk

Nightfall soon descended upon Acmetropolis, and the heroes managed to muster up a bed for her to sleep on the couch. The tower was really silent, except for the late night sounds of the city. Car horns and the like. Also the occasional police siren. Jill's beret, handgun, and boots were on the coffee table that was in front of the couch bed that was made for her, her boots resting under the table.

Jill was lying awake on the couch wide awake, obviously thinking about what might have happened when she was wised away by the crazy machine back at the mansion in her time. She came up with very many negative outcomes, and very few positive ones. She couldn't stop fearing the worst for her friends.

She stared out the big glass wall down at the city, doing nothing but thinking. She decided to get up from the couch and walk over to the glass wall to have a better view, almost getting airsick when she did so, considering that they were so high up. It was a beautiful sight for the most part.

One of the heroes had decided to grab something to drink in the middle of the night. The brownish coyote staggered out to the kitchen in his green PJs with heavy eyes to get a glass of water. The light from the fridge lit up the silhouette that was standing in the front of the room, catching Tech's attention.

"Hmm?" he muttered as his ears perked a bit, looking over at Jill. "Jill?" he spoke up.

"...Huh?" she turned to look at the coyote. "Oh...Hey..." she muttered, looking back out the glass wall.

"What're you doin' up?" he asked as he fixed his glass of water. He decided to be thoughtful and make her one, too.

"Just...thinking..." she said, sighing and going back to her couch bed to sit down.

Tech soon approached her and sat down with two glasses in his hand. "Thinking?" he said, handing her the glass.

"Yeah. Thank you..." she said as she took a sip, smiling just a little.

"About what?" he smiled a little as well.

"Do you mind if I..." she held up a small pack of cigarettes as the finisher to her question.

"I'll hold my breath," Tech grinned and sipped his drink, trying to brighten her mood.

She let out a brief chuckle and took out one of the cigs, lighting it and puffing some smoke. "Sorry... I just-" she was cut off by Tech.

"Forget it... I understand..." he smiled and sipped, looking at her.

"Thanks..." she smiled back and sipped her water as well. "I'm just...thinking about what could've happened to my partner after I disappeared... He could've been killed or something..." she said as her voice began to crack.

"Partner...? As in..." before Tech could finish, Jill caught what he was saying.

"N-No, no..." she smiled a bit, wiping a tear. "Not...that kind of partner... I just work...worked...with him. He was just a good friend..." she said.

"Oh... I-I'm sorry, I'm sure he was a- ah-...!" before Tech knew it, she was sobbing and releasing tears on his lap.

His eyes widened as he watched her cry in his lap, feeling really bad for her. "H-Hey..." he took the cigarette from her and put it out in an ashtray, then began to tend to her. "I-It's alright..." he shyly patted her back and stroked her hair a bit.

"I-If you don't wanna talk about it...I'll understand... Come on, don't cry..." he tried to comfort her, even though he knew he was bad with ladies.

"W-Why don't you get some rest, Jill...? Maybe it'll help..." he insisted on getting her back into bed.

As Jill was about to lay down, Tech stopped her.

"Wait," he began. "...Why don't you come sleep in my bed?" he smiled. "I'll take the couch. I assure you that you'll sleep a lot better in my bed..." he gave her a caring look.

"I...I couldn't do that," she blushed a bit.

"Nonsense," he winked. "Come on, I'll help you to bed," he smiled as he helped her up and brought her into his room for her to rest up.

So, he spent the night on the couch instead, bringing her the equipment she had left into his room. Tech eyed the beret and the handgun, examining the logos and symbols that were imprinted onto the beret and gun. The gun read, "S.T.A.R.S" on the left side.

"S.T.A.R.S..." Tech raised a curious eyebrow. He brought the equipment into his bedroom and smiled.

"Here're your things, Jill. Thought you might like them close to you," he chuckled a bit before heading to the door.

"Night, Jill," he smiled before turning out the light and heading into the main room to sleep.

"...Night..." she muttered as she rolled onto her side, snuggling into the sheets. She stared at the wall until her eyes were heavy enough to close themselves.

(Maybe not my best work, but hey! It gets the job done. ;3)
