How Do YOU Kill Writer's Block?

For me, I either dream about my story....then suddenly I get all of these random ideas in my head while I sleep...

....I watch TV to get ideas.....

...I watch Films to get ideas....

...I put in conversations that I've had with friends/family or events, that would fit into my story.

That's what I do!

You can get inspiration from anywhere/everywhere...

You could try TV, stories/poems, songs, dreams, or events from your/other people's lives.

Generally take my mind off of what I'm writing. ^^

Music usually works for me. Especially making videos in my head about the fic to it.

If you do have writers block, take a break. Do the stuff that other people have said like play video games and what not.

I find it helpful to talk to a like minded person about the story and where you want it to go next. Turns out you'll figure something out while you talk to someone about it. But just make sure they won't give you a strange look when you talk about your story to them.

When I try to kill my writers block (not to mention that I'm the best writer in my class) I usually read other fanfics to get more ideas or watch sitcoms that I don't usually watch to get some awkward ideas.

But, listening to random songs help me out the most! ^^

Well for me I usually listen to music that sets the mood. In example, say my character is in a bar flirting with women in a scene. Hence foth, I listen to club music and remix's. Or if one of my characters is taking a walk with is child I'll usually listen to more cheery music. Or if it's an arguement I'll listen to break-up songs and such. It really keeps me going. But whatever you do, DON'T KEEP WRITING IF YOU GET A BLOCK. It will most likely turn your story into crap. Take a break or actually read a book to get some ideas or get into the mood.

Some times though, you jest can't 'kill' it.

Some times you haft to wait for it to pass(as annoying as that is)
You could try powering through it. 4get said don't keep writing. Well, Don't keep working on THE STORY.jest wright something random and see if it get's the flow going.

And I've seen several people say watch T.V or something similar.

Now, my family hasn't watched T.v sens about February(with the exception of the ocational movie or Stargate marathon). Ever sens then I've been at the peek of creativeness and I have gotten less writers block ever sens.

Or listening to upbeat yet gental music.
