Ch. 15: The Party's Just Begun

Back at the Lab, the Loonatics and the temp allies were still stuck in the glue. Jamie had an idea on how to get out.

Jamie: Ace, use your laser vision. It will harden the glue, and we can crack our way out.

Ace: Good idea, Jamie.

Ace uses his laser vision. The glue begins to harden and crack. Everyone shokeand the glue crumbles. They were free.

Ace: Jamie, take Rev and Mallory, and find Tech. Duck, you, Zadavia, and Massivefind the satellite that controls the robots so you can destroy it. Me, Lexi, Sypher, and Slam will try and stop frieda and her Battle-bots.

Jamie: Okay. Be careful.

They split up again. Meanwhile, Frieda has already changed into Mallory, and hiding in the bleachers, typing "initiate" in her laptop. The robots in the Robo-Arena started coming to life and began to move. They were heading into the tunnels and arrived in the gym. The alumni were befuddled, wondering where the battle-bots came from. Then, Frieda showed herself in Mallory form. Everyone gasped thinking it was the real Mallory.

Frieda: Mastermind is back and ready to party!

Frieda programmed her laptop to self-type and it typed the word "attack"

Frieda: Eliminate my former-chums, My Robot Army!

The robots aimed their weapons at the people. The class ran screaming trying to get to the exits, but Frieda barricaded the outside with old beams and chains.

Frieda: What's your hurry? The Party's just started.

One robot fired its laser at Dr. Kelser, but he dodges each shot.

Dr. kelser: I don't know who that is, but that is not Mallory Mastermind. An explosive approach is not her style.

The alumni were dodging all the ammo all of the robots have. They even ducked behind the tables. Frieda was laughing as her huge head off. Slam blew the doors off with his tornado spin.

Ace: Nice going, Slam.

The four ran inside to stop the robots.

Frieda: The Losertics!

Ace fired his laser vision at the laser firing robots, causing them to explode. Sypher was getting the classmates out in a hurry.

Sypher: Everyone out now!

They ran out like he said. Lexi fired her brain blast at three bladebots.

Lexi: Loonatics: 2. Battle-bots: 0.

Slam was going against two mace-carrying robots. They charged at him, but Slam blew them back and smashed them. More deadly robots came out of the tunnels and surrounded the four. Meanwhile, Jamie, Mallory, and Rev were looking for tech.

Mallory: Tech!

Rev: Tech-old-buudy,-where-are-you?

Tech heard his friends calling for him.

Tech: Over here, Guys!

rev, Jamie, and Mallory ran to where he is. They saw him wrapped in the metal cocoon. Jamie formed an energy sword with her hands.

Jamie: Stand back, Guys!

Jamie cut Tech out of the cocoon.

Jamie: Come on! We got to stop Frieda before she turns the party into a disaster!

Jamie and Rev ran ahead. Mallory was about to run, but tech grabbed her arm

Mallory: What is it, Tech?

Tech: Mallory, I need you to go back to the lab make something that will stop Frieda from shapeshifting her way out. I'll take care of her myself.

Mallory: Tech, no. Frieda power makes her invincible now that she has our powers. You could get hurt..or worse.

Tech:Mallory, I can regenerate myself. But you can't, That is why I am asking you to stay out of harm's way. Do it for us.

Tech put his hand behind Mallory's head and kissed her for the longest time.

Chapter 16: Robo-Battle

Scene: The Roof of the Main Building

Zadavia, Massive, and Duck were on top of the roof of the Main Building. They see the Satellite being guarded by two ninja-star shooters.

Duck: Guess Freaky Frieda decided to take precaustions.

Massive: No problem. I'll just use my gravity powers.

Massive used his gravity powers but no effect.

Massive: Something's wrong. Why couldn't my powers work?

Zadavia: Frieda must have installed a gravity stablizer to counter your power.

Duck: Like I said, serious precaustions.

Massive: New plan. We need to get passed them.

Zadavia: We'll need a distraction.

They both look at Duck deviously.

Duck: Don't tell me. Me again.

Zadavia: Look on the bright side, Duck. You'll get back at Frieda for calling you scrawny.

Massive: Huh?

Zadavia: Don't ask.

Duck: you're right. It's payback time! (approaches robots) Hit the Duck and win a prize!

The robots shoot ninja-stars at Duck but he keeps quacking.Duck finally shoots his orbs at them, causing them to explode.

The three run toward the satellite, but some blade-bots stood in front of the satellite. Back at the gym, Rev, Tech, and Jamie ran in and saw Ace, Lexi, Slam, and Sypher surrounded by the Battle-bots.

Jamie: (running toward them) Anyone up for a game of Shock-A-Bot?!

Jamie turns into living electricityand starts shocking ten bots. All of them were exploding. Rev ran with his drill.

Rev: Stand-back! This-is-a-emergency-drill!

Rev spins around two robots while there was a driilling noise. All of the lug nuts and screws fell off the robots and they fell apart. Tech got out the ray gun he made earliar and started balsting a few bots. More battle-bots were going after Jamie. She turns into living electricity and goes inside one of the mace-bots. She starts whacking some robots. Then she came out of the mace-bot and gives it her famous attack: The Electric Uppercut. That bot exploded.

Jamie: Three watts and your out.

Most of the robots were in pieces but more keep coming. Meanwhile, Zadavia and Massive were running from the Blade-bots when Duck quacked in.

Duck: Hey, Blade Brains!

They looked toward Duck as he made a face at them. They moved toward him and try to slash him. Duck quacks out on time, and the robots end up slashing the satellite in half. The blade-bots instantly shut down.

Zadavia: Nice going, Duck.

Duck: Another heroic done by Danger Duck!

Massive: (to Zadavia) Now you've done it.

The robots at the gym had the rest of the gang surrounded. Frieda, still in Mallory form, was excitedto see the demise of the Loonatics, especially Tech. Suddenly the robots were shutting down.

Jamie: Duck and the others must have succeeded.

Frieda: No! You ruined my plans!

Dr. Kelser: Get over yourself...Frieda!

Frieda: (changes back) How did you know it was me, Dr. Kelser?

Dr. Kelser: That boastful laugh of yours gave it away. Besides, the Mallory I know would never hurt Jamie. They are like two peas of the same pod.

 

Frieda's secret is now discovered. We are getting close to the final battle, frieda's new alias, and the surprises I have mentioned earlier.

Ch 17: Final Battle

Tech: I don't get it, Frieda. You would risk hurting all of our classmates just to lash out at Mallory?

Frieda: And you for dumping me for her! And please. Now that my secret is out, call me Chimera, a powerful shapeshifter with a with a firey temper.

Tech: And just as mixed up!

Chimera turned into Duck and threw a fire orb at the Loonatics. Luckily, they ducked.

Jamie: You're going down, Chimera!

Chimera: Actually, you'll be going down, Sullivan.

Chimera takes a bazooka from the bleachers. She shoots giant staples at the Loonatics, Sypher, Jamie, and Dr. Kelser, causing them to get stuck against the wall or floor. Tech was the only one left standing.

Chimera: Amazing what you can do on your spare time. (To Tech) It's just you and me, Tech.

Tech: I'm gonna make you pay for ruining Mallory's life!

Chimera: (changes into Ace) Bring it on, Coyote!

Tech charges at Chimera. Chimera hops away from Tech. Both of them nearly stepped on Sypher, who is stuck on the floor.

Sypher: Hey! Watch where you're stepping, Dudes!

Tech tries to punch Chimera, but she karate kicks him. Tech fell to the floor, but he grabs Chimera by the ankle and throws her across the room. Chimera transforms into Duck and quacks out before she could hit the wall. She quacked in developing a fire ball.

Chimera: Fire in the hole!

She throws it at Tech, but he dodged it.

Jamie: Get her, Tech! Remember! She sabotage Mallory's machine and made her into a crook!

Dr. Kelser: I knew that brat had something to do with the accident!

Chimera changed into Lexi, and tried to brain-blast Tech, but he dodged every shot she made and finally hit her. Chimera changed into Rev and went after him at super speed.

Chimera: Special delivery, Coyote!

Chimera spun around Tech whlie she was hitting him. Tech was taking every blow, but he stopped her by tripping her. Chimera put on Rev's fire wings and grabbed Tech by the cape he was wearing. They were flying toward the ceiling fast.

Tech: (repeating what Duck said) Wear the cape and boots you won at our bet, Tech. They will make you look heroic.

Chimera swung Tech against the wall and then he fell to the floor.

Tech: Ow. (regenerates)

Chimera was about to torpedo at Tech from the air, but she was pulled back by Massive. He, Duck, and Zadavia came at just the right time.

Jamie: Duck, a little help here!

Duck: On it!

Duck threw an orb  at Jamie's right hand and freed it. Jamie pulled off all of her staples. Then she and Duck have begun freeing the others. Massive and Zadavia were tending to Chimera, who already changed back.

Zadavia: Is this all you have to show for, Frieda? Bitterness and revenge! You caused this mess and the wedge between Tech and Mallory all because you couldn't get what you want! You could have done something more positive with your talents like Tech did.

Chimera: I always get what I want! Right now, I want revenge for my humiliation!

She changes into Massive and used his gravity powers to smash the two of them against the wall. They fainted.

Duck: (running toward Chimera) I had enough of this, You Psychoshifter!

Chimera changes into Duck and dips her hands in two cups of water.

Chimera: I read all about your powers, Duck, including...Aqua Dense!

Chimera shoots high beams at Duck and smashes him against the wall. Duck was moaning in pain. Jamie and Slam were freeing Ace. All of the others were free. Rev was running after Chimera.

Rev: Lets-see-if-you-like-taking-a-few-hits!

Rev begins hitting Chimera the same way she hit Tech earlier. Then, she punches him in the face knocking him out cold.

Tech: Rev!

Tech angrily charges at Chimera. Both were now in hand-to-hand. Chimera changes into Ace again so she could fight better. She and Tech were struggling against each other. Jamie was ruuning to them with an energy lasso.

Jamie: Hold her tight, Tech!

Jamie was about to rope Chimera, but she turned itno Slam, grabbed the both of them, and slammed them against the bleachers.

Chimera: Any last words before I destroy you?!

Tech: There is. I was stalling for time. Mallory, now!

Mallory slapped a metal collar on Chimera's neck, changing her back to Frieda.

Chimera: What's going on? What is this thing on my neck.

Mallory: It's my neutra-collar. It cancels out any power from the meteor's radiation, even your shapeshifting.

Chimera: That's not fair, Casey!

Jamie: (lassoing Chimera) What's not fair is you pitting my two best friends against each other just to get what you want! (tying Chimera up) You crossed the line, You Ego-Maniac! And by the way, that last-name basis has worked my last nerve!

Jamie, Mallory, and Tech drag a tied-up Chimera outside so the police can come and get her.

 

One more chapter to go.

Yay! They defeated the witch! Good work Stella! All you have to do is make Tech and Mallory go "kissy wissy woo" ! :smooch!:

He He! Weathervane knew Freida as well! Seems like nearly all the season 1 villains have had a pot shot at Freaky Frieda now! A somewhat overly mushy ending for me, but at least it's a happy one!

Well Jamie certainly must have been a very good friend of Mallory's to persist so long into investigating Mallory's earlier accident case. Wish i could see what she looks like.

LOL! Weathervane and Frieda enemies from school!? That's great!

And that part were Frieda finally gets caught... I could almost picture her saying: "I could have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

And even though it's a MalloryxTech, I did, overall, like the story! *tosses ya a cookie*

I gotta say i share the same sentiments there Akira, since i'm definitely not a supporter of the Tech/Mallorey pairing, but that's another topic.

Good story StellaMagic!ummmmmm...how many chapters are there?

Here's my first one, Omi. It is made up of 18 chapters.

I am. In fact, "Wrath of the Beast" is the sequel. In it, the Loonatics have to stop Chimera after she escaped from jail. Meanwhile, Tech lets his anger over how Chimera was responsible for Mallory's criminal record take control when he goes off to have his revenge. What was it about my story that you liked?

Yeah, Omi. Tech did propose to Mallory. So what did you think of Chimera and Jamie?

Good show! However, I did not much care for the pairing, or the lack of suprise "bad guy" wise.

It was a great story none-the-less and a good read; keep it up!
