I`ve got a backstory for them that`s so much more complicated than that. Like I said on tv.com, once I`ve submitted "A Hare-Y Situation" to LUO, you`ll understand more.
Unfortunately, not anytime really soon. I`m currently working on "A Fresh Start", and if you take a look at my fan episode schedule on the fan fiction board (It`s under the title "My fanscript season preview") you`ll see that I still need to write "Eye Of The Storm", "Hunting Woonatics, Owd Chap", "Till Death Do Us Part," and "Fear Itself" as well before I can even get started on "A Hare-Y Situation".
Sorry, but it`ll take some time. Hopefully, though, not too long. My fan fictions are going to start off mediocre, but they`ll get better (hopefully) as the season progresses.
After seeing episode 11 I'd say there was something but it's now gone. Tech was sorry for Mallory when she was taken away but he knew she was going to plan revenge. Mallory's life was 'ruined' (for the greater good) by Tech plus he steped on Penny (the pen) They aren't going back together anytime soon. (or maybe at all)

I agree. Epispode 11 is a pretty good indication they still have a lot of problems to work through before they even think about something like that.
Mallory using their old locker combination might suggest more on her part though; I think she either used it because she thought it would be too predictable for Tech to guess, (which she never backed up in that episode) or she still thinks of him in some way. Although his reaction is definately more telling.

Little update: I will no longer expand upon the story of Tech/Mallory with my episode "A Hare-Y Situation". However, I have not cancelled the expansion of the story overall; instead, the explanation will come in a later episode, related to "A Hare-Y Situation" only through a certain character. This is mainly because the backstory elaboration does not relate to the main story of AHS, thus making the plot point pointless at that point (say what?). Nonetheless, I do have a backstory, and it will be written in time.
I was just reading a "Fruits Basket" manga (how is this related to Loonatics unleashed) and I was thinking about a book Shigure showed Tohru and the gang. The book was called:"Summer coloured sigh" (it was perverted apparently) and the blurb said:
"We can't go back to that summer, but we can always remember... a naughty love story unfolds".
Maybe I should do a perverted story like that... only, it would be with Mallory and Tech... (stops to think of the great potential)

And as i've said before, i don't think Tech and Mastermind had or has a romantic relationship. In the past, as far as i'm concerned, they were just of a mentor-student working relationship, and now they're bitter academic rivals.
