Why would he want to change the colour of his sclera but not his irises all the time? It just doesn't seem to make sense. And can you imagine Tech trying to get in a pair of contacts before each mission:

Good shots of the Trolbot 9000 there! I just realized from those pictures how reminiscent the design of the Trolbot is to Gundam mobile suits! Whoever wrote this ep most definitely must have been watching Japanese giant robot anime!

Now if only Tech would invent a really cool robotic battle suit to use too!

Why would he want to change the colour of his sclera but not his irises all the time? It just doesn't seem to make sense. And can you imagine Tech trying to get in a pair of contacts before each mission:

*shrugs* Beats me. I couldn't really think of any other explanation. I've heard about contacts that can be cosmetic and correctional, but with some degree of fault. Maybe we'll figure it out the same time they show how exactly those skin-tight costumes work.

The writer is Steve Cuden, in case you're wondering. I think trolbot 9000 influences more into Transformers than Gundam, but that's just my taste...

This kind of reminds me of how in Astro Boy, Tezuka always made it look like he had those two spikes in his hair no matter what direction you looked at him. They never appeared to overlap. He would also commonly change how many fingers Astro had, (three to four) even within a story! Maybe Tech's fang is a kind of animation gag of the sort. Can't be sure if that's what the animators had in mind, though.

I have a feeling that canine tooth is meant to stick out on Tech's right-side officially, but the animators just like adding in that little detail about him in any angle they draw him at me thinks!

Actually, I don't have a dang clue where that fang goes... I just doodle it in whenever I feel like it... which is like all the time XD

Ever since someone ( at Rev) cost me my real fang a few months back, I designed a synthetic replacement I can pop out of my mouth at any time I desire so as to place it in the adjaent sie of my mouth if I wish. It`s a visual treat for the ladies, really.

Nice "Cloak of Black Velvet" pics there Zadavia! Can't wait to see more! This was one of my fave season 1 eps too. Kinda reminded me a bit of the "Cry Turmoil" Swat Kats ep.
