Actually, they say drinking milk after eating really spicy hot stuff is best. Water only spreads the heat further into the mouth!

Try eating chili hot stuff and then drinking water. It doesn't really help much in my experience!

Well, really, hot and spicy are two different things. "Hot"
is when the temperature is high enough that you`re body is forced to adapt to the heat too quickly, resulting in thermal discomfort of your tongue. "Spicy" is where there`s a sting in the flavor (I think caused by weak poisons or something, but I`m not sure) that affects your tongue, hot or not.

So, cold water would help with hot food, as the cold water and hot food level each other`s temperature out, but maybe spicy food will sting with or without water. Nevertheless, Rev`s SSTIIYCHI tomato stew is quite hot, so drinking some water to cool it down is advised.

Well...I haven't really been following this long and odd conversation that SOMEhow arose from screenshots...but I find milk to be a much better substitute then water when eating hot things. It has more flavor to get rid of the burning hell in your mouth X_x;;

Animefangirl says milk is good after eating chilli hot and spicy stuff also, so it's got to have some substantial basis!

And this 'spicy' topic came up as a result of Rev's super-spicy-take-it-if-you-can-err, i forget the rest-tomato stew!

It originates from another topic where I`ve written the Loonatics as enjoying an early Christmas vacation (the one where we all made up after a fake Rev kicked Lexi in the behind). I was just being random when I came up with it; even I can be quirky sometimes.

Whenever I click 'pause' on dailymotion.com, this stupid massive pause sign appears in the middle of the screen and obscures the shot. I don't see how anyone can make screenshots with that.

Yeah that is weird. But then, so is developing superpowers due to being struck my lightning. I'm starting to think Acme Tech is a grad school, so Mallory is most likely in her mid-possiblely late twenties (it's just the huge head that makes her look like she's in her thirties). Tech was tutoring her, so that would suggest that she was still in school.

Tech referred to her as "a young prodigy", so she couldn't have been too old. She must've been short for her age.

Well, my voice sounds deep for a 16 year-old. Heck, I`ve heard once that my voice sounds deeper than my father`s on the phone, and I think I was mistaken for my older brother once (but that was while I was 15, I think). According to my mother, I`ve always had a deeper voice than usual.

Funny, people always mistake me for my older sister coz i'm taller and apparently more mature sounding than her too! LOL!
