I think they mite eat eggs...But a little off the subject do the Loonatics eat meat? I mean on the first ep. they had a peperoni pizza. Theres also bin other ep. where they eat meat even though most of ther animal counter part are strict vegitareiens.

The most dangerous is Tech... he is a Coyote and those eat everything...

And what about Ace and Lexi??? they eat others animals like pig (in the pizza)... so is almost the same that Duck and Rev eat birds...

I've always imagined that in a society where anthro predators and prey live peacefully (like LU or the Sonic the Hedgehog world), the meat eaters feed on feral, non evolved animals.

And, I don't remember if it's been stated before in this topic, but roadrunners do eat meat, they often feed on smaller mammals and birds. And they're pretty voracious killers too.

Humans need to be considered, too. The whole human race certainly isn't vegan, and even the loosest ethics wouldn't allow the slaughter and consumption of sentient anthros, so there must still be feral animals and livestock for food and other products.

IIRC, roadrunners beat their catches against rocks or the ground to kill them. It's not a species you'd find at your backyard bird-feeder.

Which is ironic considering how many of Wile. E's plan's involved bird seed of some kind.

Although this is quite an interesting topic to discuss, I think, as with most of the Looney Tunes universe, not alot of it is to be taken to such a level of scrutiny and debate at least on the topic of food anyway. It's just one of the things that is never really questioned about cartoons, sometimes Fudd is chasing after Bugs, sometimes Bugs isn't questioned being around humans; it all depends on the setting the cartoonists make for that particular instance and if it isn't a focus or a short reference/gag it's doubtful that ever is really any real explainable set facts to the matter.

Though I would have to say the most accurate description would be Skifox's, there are anthro animals (i.e. the Looney Tunes type) and there are feral animals which are predator and prey just as in our universe, no one can really explain why but that's the situation. Also I doubt Rev would get that shocked if someone was eating eggs, if for whatever reason other then that he is too carefree to worry. Duck on the other hand, being a bit more of a worry wart, is more likely to be affected (insulted, scared, sick to his stomach, etc) as he was in Acmetropolis' Chinatown (see "Going Underground"). At any rate I doubt we'll ever know the "real" answer unless the show actually brings it up.
