Anna wrote:This is so cool, Kajae! Looking at this makes me all sunny and happy. You set up a perfect mood with the body language and colors. I also love how much movement there is. You're also getting loads and loads better copying the show's sytle.
In a nutshell:
TEACH ME YOUR WAYS, OH MASTER OF EXPRESSIONS AND POSES!!!111 Thanks so much Anna! It rocks my socks that people think I'm definately getting better!
Haha... '111' Awesome. Teach? Uh, as for expression, I make faces in the mirror. Sounds lame, but it works XD
For poses... I just sketch in what fits until I think it looks about right... But photo references help a lot as well! ^^
Picture perfect Ace and Lexi! So, who took the photo for them then i wonder? Just curious.
Perfectly captured Ace and Lexi moment! As Anna says, you've perfectly expressed their moods with their body poses and facial expressions! They really look like they were having alota fun! How i too wish i had your artistic skills! Splendid job as is always the case with you mistress of LU fanart!

^_^ Thanks Black Oracle! I'm a LU fanart mistress? Awesome!
Gasp again! It was you wasn't it kaejae?! You were stalking them and wanted to catch a romantic shipper moment between them to post here! You poor mentally disturbed Ace/Lexi shipper. *Shakes head.*
It`s simply wonderful, Kaejae. You have created one of the most heavenly pics any Ace/Lexi fan could ever ask for. Well, everyone, I told you it was going to be a surprise, even for me, so...
SURPRISE!!!
Surprised ya, didn`t I? It was certainly unexpected, but I`ll cherish it always simply because it has Kaejae`s originality behind it! Just like I requested (for those of you - practically everyone- who didn`t get the specs):
Sufficiently shippy (and, more importantly, sweet) without being overly sexual (or at all, as the case may be), so as to deliver the message that love can be non-sexual (or at least to the extent most would think)
Given Kaejae`s unique touch so as to, of course, embody her talent within it, adding to it`s value
Make sure the poses are so that they could be used for either shippy or sibling vibes, so as to allow maximum flexibiltiy for the meaning behind the picture (although I prefer to think of it as shippy)
Most exemplary work, my friend, most exemplary indeed! Pardon me if I spam the smilies:
*squeal* I'm so glad you love it! As a shipper myself, I squealed many-a-times while working on this. The ambiguity of the shipper/sibling relationship vibes I think was the hard part for me... Shame on you for that You know how much of an Ace/Lexi shipper I am ;)
Flippin' amazing! Every time I think I know what to expect from you, you pull something like this out and make me recalibrate my awesome-o-meter all over again. Seriously, your skill with these characters has grown exponentially in a very short time frame. Props to you.
It's so relaxed and playful, and the body positioning is great - one of your strengths, to be sure. Nice background work, too. I guess they still have iPods in 2773, huh? ;P

Hehe! iPod! iPod! iPod! I suppose they do ;) Unless I say it's an ad where they imitate old ads. Or I couldn't figure out what to put on the billboard and wanted to create my own iPod-ish ad
Black Oracle wrote: Count Aceula? Now that's new! So i suppose that makes Lexi his beautiful victim Lucy Westernra? Then Tech can be Dr Van Helsing?! LOL!
Yesh! XD That reminds me of a Dracula mockery I did starring my hamsters. Hehe. Count Hamula, Ham Helsing, etc. x333 Good stuff. But yeah, you see... underneath that heroic leader stuff, Ace is really Bunnicula. ;3

So does that mean Tech is actually Harold? Who would be Chester, since there aren't any feline 'tics? XD

Ace: Why, Lexi....I've never noticed before how lovely your neck is...
Suddenly, Dr. Van Techsing and Jonathan Ducker rush in as Count Aceula is about to bite into Lexi Westenra's neck.
J. Ducker (Pointing at Count Aceula): Unhand her you foul demon!
Van Techsing pulls out a metal sign of the cross and a bottle of holy water and holds them out toward Count Aceula.
V. Techsing: Back! Back creature of the night! In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Count Aceula hisses at Dr. Van Techsing and and backs up to an open window, then he leaps out into the night.

He! He! This'd make a good Halloween story!
XD It would make a good Halloween story. Hey, we could always have Halloween in March. If there's Christmas in July, I don't see why not... xP
*Imagines a picture of Count Aceula.* Urgh! Blood dripping off Ace's fangs! Looks like he's wearing a bad Halloween costume and make-up! He! He! *Imagines a picture of Dr. Van Techsing.* Yum! Tech in a long coat and wearing a crucifix on his chest! *Drools at thought.*
XtreamCrazy wrote: Johnathon Ducker... was he the priest guy in the movie, Van Helsing? wait! Is that why you're calling Tech Van Techsing? *is slow*
In Bram Stoker's novel, Jonathan Harker and Dr. Van Helsing were characters that came into contact with the Count. The movie Van Helsing was basically a spin-off on the character of Van Helsing, who in the novel was a doctor knowledgeable about the undead. Though i quite enjoyed the movie Van Helsing as well. *Imagines Tech in Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing outfit and with his vampire hunting arsenal.* Yum!
