Ch. 10: Spike

Everyone except Jamie, Tech, and Rev looked nervous. The coyote with the eye patch moved closer.

Coyote: Hi, Jamie.

Jamie: Hey, Spike.

Massive: Spike?

Tech: Yeah. This is Spike. When Jamie and Rev traveled to Coyote City years ago, Spike saved them from the Black Coyotes.

Rev: Spike-is-one-of-the-few-coyotes-here-who-doesn't-hate-Roadrunners. He-also-gave-us-our-hoverboards.

Spike: So they must be the Loonatics.

Ace: Well sort of. I'm Ace, the leader of the Loonatics.

Spike: Hi.

Ace: Those two big guys are Massive and Slam.

They smiled nervously at the coyotes.

Jamie: And the big sucker in red and yellow is Sypher.

Sypher: HEY! :/

Pierre: Aren't you going to introduce me, Mon Petite?

Rev looked a little jealous. Jamie elbows Pierre in the breadbasket.

Jamie: And the stalker is Pierre Le Pew.

Spike: I can see that.

Tech: This is Mallory, my girlfriend.

Spike: So this is Mastermind.

Mallory: Hi. Can I interest you guys in some soda?

Jamie: Sure Spike.

Jamie was about to get a drink when a familiar coyote walks in, pushing Rev and Pierre to opposite sides. It is not a friendly coyote; it's Butch.

Butch: Hi Jamie.

Jamie: Not you.

Spike: I told you and your friends you are not welcome here, Butch.

Butch: I just want to see my little lady.

Jamie: For the last time, Butch, I am not your lady! We had nothing between us! I wouldn't date a biker jerk like you anyway!

Butch: Not a chance, CupieDoll. If you think I am gonna let you be with that bird, think again!

Butch grabbed Jamie by the arm real hard. Jamie was feeling pressure in her arm when Spike karate chopped his arm.

Spike: Out of here, Butch, and don't come back! If I ever see you near Jamie again, I'll get real rough!

Butch runs away with his tail between his legs.

Pierre: Oh thank you, Miseur Spike.
